Category: Islam & IslamificationWhither Eurabia? The debate rumbles on, Eurabists and Panglossians continue to rage at each other across a widening chasm of misunderstanding. Chistopher Caldwell’s recent book Reflections on the Revolution In Europe: Immigration, Islam, and the West has served to polarise opinion still further; all the quality rags carried a review, some praising, some damning (the latter sometimes variations on the ‘What would a bloody Sceptic know about Europe anyway?’ meme); they’re all there for the googling. Usefully, the consistently interesting Laban Tall has focused instead upon reaction within the blogosphere. His piece today More Eurabian Fantasies provides a valuable tour de horizon of the reaction from some of the more esoteric nooks and crannies of the cyber-Kommentariat to Caldwell’s thesis, in addition to his own succinct commentary. Police protection of child rapistsBy David Hamilton Edmund Burke believed that politics should take account of human nature. The dominant ideologies today completely go against that and try to stifle natural expressions of common sense. In his greatest speech made in response to calls for him to be prosecuted under the 1976 Race Relations Act, The Uniform of Colour, Enoch gave an insight into how human nature operates:
The Sun of 10 November 2006 quoted Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller predicting waves of terrorist bombings, possibly with chemical and biological devices.
There is another aspect of the war being waged against us in our own country by people the elites who are bringing here. In an exposé of public interest the Daily Mail of 6 April 2009 reported:

Britain, centre of world terrorismBy David Hamilton If anything defeats common sense it is trying to understand how the “Establishment”, the “elites,” apprehend the world around them. They really seem to believe that somehow out of this ghastly racial chaos a sweet multi-racial harmony will emerge. It is a neo-Marxist view that after chaos or breakdown there will come not the workers’ paradise of previous Marxist fantasies, but a multi-racial utopia. Margaret Hodge, then Employment Minister, made a similar point two years ago when she acknowledged problems in her Barking constituency, then added it will be alright when we become a multi racial-society … as if this would appear by magic. In practice though, they are destroying innocent people’s lives but don’t care because it makes them feel morally superior over those who do suffer.. On BBC Radio 4’s Moral Maze in August 2007 the multi-racialist panel talked and talked about an ideal future … but never faced what is happening in the world around them. In Alien Nation journalist and economist Peter Brimelow, described these people as “immigration enthusiasts” - like religious enthusiasts the emotion is more important than thinking rationally. They almost have an orgasm when talking about asylum seekers or granting amnesties. They do not take human nature into account when discussing race-relations as they do when running their personal life, and can only deal with reality by pretending that ethnics are assimilating or have given up their identities and traditional loyalties. If they do discuss events they employ a little verbal sophistry to avoid the stark reality. Con Coughlin, daily Telegraph columnist and author of books on the Middle East and terrorism wrote on 16 December 2008, of “young Britons” attacking their own country:-

British Government Collude with Muslim TerroristsBy David Hamilton Gordon Brown and Business Secretary Lord Mandelson went to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states in the first week of November 2008 to ask them to fund our faltering economies by putting billions into the International Monetary Fund. In return they offered them some control over Britain and the West. The Saudi regime is the motor behind Islamisation of the West. It is Saudi’s Wahhabi form of Islam which, together with the Shi’ites in Iran, aims to make Islam dominant in the world. Saudi money has financed the spread of Wahhabi mosques, preachers and educational institutions in this country promoting holy war and converting thousands of British Muslims. Saudi Wahhabism seeks to conquer the West through a pincer movement comprising violence on the one hand and cultural infiltration on the other, and our Prime Minister is colluding with them. Lord Mandelson admitted that the Saudis and other Gulf states would get more influence in global institutions in return:-
Islamic influence is spreading into our cultural life as the Arabic investors buy Western institutions. Manchester City F C is now owned by the ruling family of Abu Dhabi; Barclays Bank, has had almost £6 billion invested from Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Wilders’ Fitna is released - UPDATE 28.03.08
BUT IT’S STILL ON YOUTUBE Yesterday’s original post ... Geert Wilders’ has now found a host on-line for his much trailed and relentlessly tragic film, Fitna the Movie. It is in Dutch, but scarcely needs translation. It is too uncomplicated for that. [Actually here is the English-language version, with my thanks to Hibernia Girl - Ed]
Let it be said that Wilders’ message of Islam’s alien-ness and its implacable opposition to Western liberal democratic values is unmoderated by any political context. OK, one wouldn’t expect too much of a critique of those values in a short film like this. But the responsibility for transferring Moslem populations into Europe - and apparently they now stand at 57 million - goes totally unaddressed. The viewer is left to assume that it’s simply a product of Islam’s expansionist ambitions. Likewise, no attempt is made to investigate the nature of Moslem anger towards the West. The vast offence that Moslems feel at America’s machinations in the dar al-Islam and the humiliation occasioned by Israeli aggression are not touched upon. All the blood-letting is portrayed as a product of the “problematic” surahs. We all know Wilders has a penchant for populist anti-immigration politics. But Wikipedia helpfully explains that he also has a very special feeling, not to put too fine a point on it, for Israel:-
So perhaps Wilders is not all that interested in telling his own people that, fundamentally, Moslems are in Holland for the same reason that 1,350 Dutch soldiers are in Iraq. Perhaps his pro-Israel sensibilities baulk at the very notion of a mutual separation - them from us and us from them. After all, no employee in the Israeli Embassy would want to see a Dutch Holland or a West careless of its “duty” to the Jewish state. View Fitna, with all its shock value, as an agitprop vehicle for an ambitious and energetic politician. A serious contribution it aint. Opinion professionals in Rome“Can European Civilisation Survive?” the publicity asks. Not without Europeans, one must reply.
But Identity Crisis, a two-day chatter starting this very day (Thursday) at the European University of Rome, does not concern itself with us. This is Judeo-Christian country. What happens to Europeans doesn’t matter, so long as Western Civ can be salvaged in an executable form for the godly and the The moving spirit of the conference appears to be Avi Davis, a man of many talents according to his bio, since he is an attorney, documentarian (?), senior fellow of the American Freedom Alliance, and a senior editorial columnist for Jewsweek, among other Israel-gripped rags. What Avi and his friends are up to here should be pretty plain. They are trying to shape the countours of future government opinion. You can tell it’s government opinion-forming they are interested in because their method - the international conferences, the “scholarly studies”, the complex little knot of “Institutes” and “Forums” - is the same as that employed by the New Left when it culturalised discourse in the 1980s. They have money, as the left surely had money - and no doubt from some rather similar sources. They have some influence, at least, in places of power on both sides of the Atlantic. And they have an enemy: not European Man this time but Islam in and beyond Europe. They are cultural preservationists, I suppose. They are not like us. We set out to preserve the greatest of peoples while Jews see only anti-Semitism in that sacred goal, and Christians see the worship of a craven image. To the question, “Should European peoples be free to live as they please, and with whom they please, in their own lands” these people would be constitutionally unable to answer in the positive. So is Avi’s effort a help or hindrance to our goal. Well, right now the discussion at high levels in European politics of Islam as a threat in itself is not unhelpful to nationalist parties like VB and the BNP. And since the true political and philosophical nature of nationalism is too revolutionary to be entertained at any level of government, there is no material loss to us if Jews and Christians push the anti-Islamification agenda successfully. But, of course, the point arrives when civilisation as a value in itself misses the mark. It is to genetic survival what citizenism is to blut und boden. It will contribute nothing to our cause, other than the educational experience of seeing the opinion-forming exercise professionally - and lavishly - undertaken. Neocons and Islamofascism. In the book World War IV: The Long Struggle Against Islamofascism, by Norman Podhoretz, 2007, and in live interviews that he has been giving lately, he emphasizes that only Islamofascists were able to kill thousands of Americans on American soil in one devastating strike, something not even the axis powers during WWII were capable of doing. His claim seems to be that this new enemy is every bit as dangerous as the highly trained and advanced armies, for their time, as Germany and Japan. Podhoretz and his kin are desperately trying to keep the United States engaged in regime change in the Middle East, and of course spinning “just so” stories is an easy way to keep the sheeple terrified of this new threat. With regards to 9/11 of course, we were to blame—not the sophistication of the terrorists. I came across this quite well detailed acknowledgment of our dereliction by Max Bazerman in Judgment in Managerial Decision Making:
“Enron is not the only disaster that we can trace to failed decision making. Faulty decisions played an important role in the weakness of the U.S. aviation security system that allowed terrorists to use airplanes as weapons on September 11, 2001. The U.S. government knew terrorists were willing to become martyrs for their cause and that they hated the United States. The World Trade Center had been bombed in 1993, and in 1994 terrorists hijacked an Air France airplane and tried to turn it into a missile aimed at the Eiffel Tower. In 1995, terrorists failed in an attempt to hijack twelve U.S. commercial airplanes in Asia at the same time. In addition, the general public knew how simple it was to board an airplane with items, such as small knives, that could be used as weapons. In 1997, Vice President Al Gore’s aviation security commission put all of this data together and provided comprehensive evidence that the system was full of holes. Yet despite the warning signs, the Clinton administration did little to improve airline safety.

Brussels 9/11: the end of free speechThose who frequently roam the streets of Brussels can remember hardly a day on which there isn’t a demonstration for or against something outside one of the European offices. We’ve even had the garbage men whose brooms were the wrong size. On average, five hundred demos a year are approved in the European Union capital, approximately two per working-day. As one would expect of a liberal democracy, only about once a year is a demo actually forbidden, and then only where the direct incitement of a felony is involved, and by felony I mean murder, child abuse or genocide. Otherwise, the most bizarre and absurd demos are routinely permitted. Nevertheless, Brussels mayor Freddy Thielemans forbade a demo for the 11th of this month, the anniversary of the attacks on New York and Washington. The demo, which included a minute’s silence for the victims of 9/11, had been announced as a protest against the on-going Islamicisation of Europe, and specifically against the introduction of Shariah law. It’s not an unpopular cause in Brussels – or in many other places. The ban didn’t go unnoticed (in German) in Europe and in America. Nor did the fact that, embarrassingly for mayor Thielemans, only two days earlier a demo by United for Truth, an organisation that claims that the US government and Mossad were behind the 9/11 attacks, had been permitted. How does Bush think he will finally win the war on terror?I came across a 1999 report prepared by the Federal Research Division, Library of Congress, entitled The Sociology and Psychology of Terrorism: Who Becomes a Terrorist and Why? It should be available on the Internet, and if not I have a copy. It makes for some interesting reading with regards to current forms of terrorism and how difficult it is to defeat—should that be one’s primary concern.
The report traces the history of terrorism over the last few decades, and points out that earlier secular terrorists “want a lot of people watching, not a lot of people dead.” During the 90s however, secular or idealistic terrorists gave way to religious fundamentalist terrorism that is not averse to using WMD for killing masses of people. After all, they are on a mission from God or Allah and what others think is irrelevant. This includes millenarian, messianic or apocalyptic fanatics. What is interesting is that the Christian millenarian fundamentalists in the United States mirror the Islamic terrorists’ jihadist mission—only Islamists are acting on orders directly from Allah, and the Christians are waiting for promised events to occur with little help from besides supporting Israel. In the end, the result is the same in the slaughter of innocents.

Containment of Islam or its annihilation? asks Muslim apostateEd Husain, author of The Islamist, comments:

Nowhere does the FO specifically state that Western men and women will be punished if they are caught dancing with one another in private. That, in the event, might turn out to have been something of an oversight:-

What about bloody normal life in the West?At first glance, ‘Gay and Lesbian Life in the Middle East’ isn’t a title that’s easy to take seriously. It immediately calls to mind one of those list of improbable titles, or perhaps the thought that said life will most probably consist of one feverish night of illicit pleasure, followed by a knock from the Ministry for the Prevention of Vice and a public stoning the next day. It is serious, however. Deadly serious. Democratya reviews:

Dutch to ban the burqa. The Dutch government agreed today on:-
Well, is this a step towards saving Holland or sealing its fate? The answer varies according to which you place uppermost: Dutch national interest or Dutch ethnic interest. Those who like the novelty of forcing Moslems to stay on Dutch terms or go wear their burqas someplace else should listen closely to the Mayor of Amsterdam:-
It’s easy to be tough about a palliative. Dutch national interest is the interest of the polital and cultural elite. They want a successful integration. They do NOT want - and will not get - a tented city of defeated burqa-wearers at the Algerian Airlines check-in. But they will get the support of all those Dutch indigenes who believe Geert Wilders to be a “far-right politician”, and wouldn’t know their ethnic interest from a well fattened goat. A burqa ban is a politically shrewd strategy from a mainstream liberal perspective. Posted by Guessedworker on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 10:05 PM in Islam & Islamification

Danish kids have a laugh at summer camp. A billion Moslems offended. The latest controversy over Danish cartoonry - young Danish People’s Party activists filmed drawing the Prophet for a laugh - has had the anticipated result. Danish politicians have rushed around trying to apologise for their, of course, appallingly racist and completely unrepresentative, un-Danish young countrymen ... Moslems all over have been making the obligatory noises. Actually, there’s a little more to it than that. Film of the the youth camp was shot by one Martin Rosengaard Knudsen and duly, obediently, lovingly aired on Danish TV. Knudsen, who doesn’t sound like a very nice liberal, had posed as a Party member for months with the specific aim of causing trouble. The cartoon drawing was a bit of light-hearted fun at a summer camp organised last August for young Party activists. But it gave Knudsen his golden chance. The cartoons were brought to the world’s attention only because a lying little spy had a camera and made it so. At whom, then, should those always inflammable Moslems be outraged? Knudsen? Danish TV? Erm ... no contest. The kids, obviously. And Denmark. And the kufr everywhere, probably. And it’s the same with Denmark’s stunningly cowardly and unsteadfast politicians. If in doubt, always suck up to the Moslem. You can view Knudsen’s very silly footage here. Posted by Guessedworker on Monday, October 9, 2006 at 10:42 PM in Islam & Islamification
Neither liberals nor Muslims understand ‘age of consent’
Of course, to a normal, healthy western mind the whole affair is firstly disgusting and secondly incomprehensible. Why would any father wish to make his pre-pubescent daughter marry a man twice her age? Why would a girl of just twelve develop such a deep respect for a culture with which she has had hardly any contact that she identifies with it more than with the culture in which she has grown up? On the other hand, why would the authorities pay any real attention to her own words about what she wishes: don’t they realise how easy manipulatable a girl of that age is, especially when its her father who is doing the manipulating? The answer to the first two questions is that Islamic society lacks most of the social niceties which adorn our own. Family bullying and pressuring teenagers (and even children) into making decsions before they are competent to make them is common enough in the Middle East, and are even given holy sanction by the Prophet’s own amorous escapades with the nine year old daughter of a follower. The answer to the last question is that the doctrine of complete personal autonomy has corrupted the thinking and sheer common-sense of our leadership classes. Because it is Molly’s “right” to self define, it logically follows that no objection can be made to the fact that she has chosen to become, essentially, a militantly hostile Muslim. Never mind that she obviously made this choice under considerable duress: the liberal elite, which screams bloody murder every time a product is advertised because this will allegedly force the public to buy something that it doesn’t want, is willing to treat this blatant example of emotional blackmail as an entirely freely entered choice. Who would have thought that the final fruits of all our liberties would be the right to be forced into a marriage? Giving up (our) liberty for (Islamic) securityWe have grown accustomed to living under the constant threat of a terror attack. This news would have shocked us a decade ago, but not anymore:
The response to this attack has been equally predictable, with the Home Office raising the security alert to its highest level and banning taking any liquids onto airplanes. We can further expect more calls for ID cards, a heightened level of surveillance and more funding for the government’s security agencies. In short, what can be summed up as giving up more of our long-treasured liberties, as one radio commentator alluded.
Such a course of action will be foolhardy and fruitless; it will not make us significantly safer. The government could scrap the entirety of the Magna Carta, ignore every single international treaty it has ever signed (that’ll be the day…), put a surveillance camera onto every single street corner and increase security spending to unimaginable levels. It could abolish Parliament (which, judging by recent legislation, is its fondest desire), institute a semi-totalitarian order, but we could still expect another successful terrorist attack.

Lest we forgetIt has been a year since the Multicult reached its Day of Judgement below the misty London sky. On the seventh of July 2005, four ‘Brits’ of a certain Asian race and a certain “peaceful” religion strapped themselves into their suicide belts and let the inferno rip through central London. Of course, all the usual commentators, precisely the same commentators that should have surely discredited themselves by failing to even allow for such an occurrence in their earlier predictions, rushed to explain and excuse. These young men had been “alienated”; “oppressed”; “deprived”; and most certainly “in no way representative”. Still, for once it left a strange aftertaste in one’s mouth. For once, some would simply not accept all the old liberal pieties about our essential equality and about the brotherhood of man, which allegedly is ever imminent but being prevented by racist whites. Some were disgusted when the police and other authorities kowtowed to various Islamic community leaders, who shamelessly worried only about an outbreak of Islamophobia. Indeed, some even dared to wonder whether greater Islamophobia would not have prevented this atrocity happening at all. The MSM line was that such an event proved the need for ID cards, as if the problem was white grannies and retired gentlemen running around unidentified. For some, such logic -that a crime was perpetrated against us so we must abandon yet more of our ancestral liberties - jarred. Some might even have dared mention, perhaps only to themselves, but still given voice to the possibility that the problem wasn’t us - not our excessively libertarian instincts, nor our supposed racism, nor our reluctance to always walk in fear - but them. They - that word which is the eternal scarecrow of liberalism, which supposedly demonstrates all our ignorance - “they” who have shown their true face to us. “They”, a significant number of whose brothers in faith are willing to admit that they consider the murderers to be martyrs (and if this is what they say to our faces, what must they say behind our backs). Our Muslim friends stopped being above suspicion in circles where they previously would have been. At the same time, the willingness of liberals to sacrifice our liberties in order to maintain a hostile stranger within our borders astounded. Perhaps some freed themselves of the miasma conjured up by the word liberal and found the courage and independent mindedness to look for themselves at the actions, not the words, of the Multicult. By the same token, the Islamic cult may have been looked at with a clearer eye, and its pretensions to be the religion of peace questioned. Ultimately, the Multicult and the Islamic cult are equally irrational belief systems, now bound together in a dance of death. All those who escape their mental clutches will be able to see this, and to observe the Rivers of Blood that Enoch Powell predicted and they achieved. I confess to not knowing how many had their eyes opened by these events, but I hope and believe that the English cannot remain blind to rank tyranny forever. I myself had precisely the thoughts outlined above, having never previously thought about the Islamic threat, so many others might have done aswell. And so: lest we forget, and lest it be allowed to happen again. Posted by Alex Zeka on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 01:56 PM in British Politics, Islam & Islamification

So, what momentous error or misdeed has brought this about? After all, the government won’t have resigned under its own steam- a significant number of parliamentarians, Uncivil Societarians and various other pontificatarians must have demanded it. Deja riotuThe French are revolting, and it isn’t just their habit of eating garlic with every meal and having a glass of wine with most. For the past week, Paris has been the scene of vandalism, violence and general mayhem. The Fifth Republic has lost control of its capital, as the gendarmes admit impotence in the face of the rising disorder… What a difference half a year can make. Last November, we were all shocked at the rioting into which the capital of France descended, and the abject apathy and grovelling which were the government’s response (Pres. Chirac even apologised to the rioters). Now, as the Times reports: Posted by Alex Zeka on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 06:14 PM in Immigration, Islam & Islamification

Powell’s Last Laugh(Note: This article is also being published in a college magazine, so I’ve been somewhat more restrained than usual) It is a peculiar commonplace amongst liberals nowadays to claim that Arabs are never violent by themselves. Generally, it’s allegedly just the burden of poverty, or the burden of Western exploitation, or the burden of Israel’s refusal to disappear that makes our “good friends” get so agitated. How, then, to explain the recent riots, where our British co-citizens of a certain extraction called for “Death to the West” and told “Freedom” to “Go to hell”? They live in one of the most prosperous societies on Earth (with a generous welfare state to boot), are not noticeably exploited by any Westerners, and aren’t precisely suffering under Israel’s yoke.
The pretext for the adorable pantomime we witnessed were several fairly mild cartoons, showing Mohammed with a bomb for a turban or a suicide bomber being told Paradise had run out of virgins, and supposed to criticize the use of Islam as a cover for atrocities. In other words, the insult was slightly less serious than the one delivered to Christians by the Da Vinci Code, and considerably less serious than the sort of slander routinely dished out to Jews by the Arab press! Moreover, these were published by a Danish local newspaper, and until the Westminster government gains the power to censor the Danish provincial press there is literally nothing it can do to counter the complaints raised by the rioters.
