“With all our souls”

Forgive me for sharing a bit of old news but I recently came upon a video of a Russian police officer by the name of Alexey Dymovsky speaking openly about the problem of corruption amongst his fellow officers.  I don’t understand a lick of Russian but I do understand the gulp in his throat once he started addressing Prime Minister Putin.

“There must be some moral, some justice?”

Apparently, this man lost his job and had to hire a bodyguard shortly after making this video only to be arrested on charges of fraud several weeks later, wherever he is now his wiki page does not say.  I am sure he knew this was coming and that is what makes this video of his an act of courage.

Western men will never be able to reclaim their countries and heritage without also demonstrating such courage.

Alternate Rights, T-Parties, 3rd Positions and about 700 million Third Worlders in a barrio near you

This is an assessment (aka, a rant) of where America currently is, circa 2010, and where it is headed, save an asteroid strike.  Europe, you’re only a step or two behind.

The first thing to mention, of course, is that America has a black president by the name of Barack Hussein Obama. Let that sink in for a second.

That, in and of itself, is beyond any possible conception of reality most Americans could have imagined in their most grim of nightmares just twenty years ago. Twenty years! That’s 1990!

But then, just twenty years ago (1990!), America was still in the neighborhood of 70 to 75% White. Again, just twenty years ago.

Equally inconceivable to Americans back then, is the notion that everything from customer service over the phone to the directions on a can of soup would be in Spanish as well as English.

Of course some will point out that people were seeing such things in places like Los Angeles or New York and warning of the coming storm. And that’s true. But at that time the clouds on the horizon were not yet in range of 99% of Americans view (America is a big place). By the time they were, the proverbial rains we’re already pounding down.

Besides that, the fact that some were warning of the coming storm twenty years ago (and even earlier) and, well, here we are never the less.  It should give us all pause in our feverish excitement about some politician “voicing concern” or some new book explaining the direness of our plight.

On demographics, it’s truly difficult to ascertain the real situation. Officially, America is still over 60% “white” (“white” being those of European, middle-eastern and north African heritage, as per the Census definition).  Unofficially the percentages don’t match up with what you see with your own eyes. I’ve gone into this before here, so I’ll only add now that it would be perfectly understandable for a tourist to come to the conclusion that America is about 42% White and 58% non-White.  And that’s keeping in mind that in 1965 America was around 90% White, and that all of this has happened without any opposition whatsoever. Not one single leader came forward to oppose the most destructive agenda in human history. Not one!

Déjà vu in loyalist Belfast

In loyalist Belfast there are signs of a different kind of fight against the drive for a multiracial utopia.  You will remember the Roma physically forced out a year ago.  Well, the attacks on immigrants are, it seems, continuing.  From a Guardian article by a self-described black, self-confessed IRA terrorist turned journalist, who served a seven year sentence for possession of weapons:

The latest race attacks in Northern Ireland are as depressing as they are predictable. Isolated families in loyalist areas having their homes ransacked, their belongings destroyed and their lives threatened is a phenomenon now occurring with sickening regularity.

In the latest incidents, a mob attacked two homes in the loyalist Village area of south Belfast and in Whiteabbey, cars belonging to Filipino and Indian families were burned. The attacks come a year after a hundred Roma people were forced to flee Northern Ireland after racist petrol bombings, also in south Belfast.

... Northern Ireland is changing, slowly. Two major factors have been responsible: the first was the IRA ceasefire in 1994, and the second was the influx of EU citizens, especially from the accession states such as Poland. Foreign nationals from the Philippines, west Africa and elsewhere also arrived here in numbers for work or to study.

The rate of change has been alarming for some people and some communities including, in particular, the working-class loyalist communities in greater Belfast. The middle-class and economically active Protestants have fled to the satellite towns around the city, vacating houses in the process. Migrants, especially Poles, have filled these homes, leaving an ill-equipped, under-resourced Protestant community feeling abandoned.

It was only a matter of time before someone lashed out and, as ever, ethnic minorities make easy scapegoats. It feels like it’s only a matter of time before someone gets killed. The BNP has been recruiting disaffected young loyalists who, in previous years, might have joined the UDA or UVF to attack nationalists. Many suspect that loyalists either orchestrate or acquiesce in many of the attacks.

Education and political leadership are needed to address the racists. In a recent TV interview, the presenter asked me if Irish people needed to show a little more “tolerance” to migrants and blacks in their midst. My response was unapologetic: “I’m not here to be tolerated.”

So the recogniseable elements are all here.  “Some” among Belfast’s working class loyalists (whom, naturally, no one has had the political courage or integrity to consult) are “alarmed” at the “rate of change”.  The immigrants, meanwhile, “make easy scapegoats” for “the racists”.  And what a neat transition into blame mode that is!  That it’s wrong to coerce Belfast folk into accomodating foreigners never enters the writer’s ethnic head.  We are told that education and leadership will “address the racists”.  Well, there are some very hard, very uncompromising, very organised groups in loyalist Belfast.  They stood their ground against the IRA not for years but for decades, and were in no wise less lethal or remorseless.  The question is: are some of them standing again now?  The answer probably depends on whether they possess a political understanding of the war against European existence as nuanced as the one they acquired of The Troubles.  Simple xenophobia wouldn’t have the legs to fuel a long war against the MultiCult.

This is one story to keep an eye on.

Death Panels: gateway to freedom and equality

Everyone I know is fuming over the “unconstitutional” health-care bill that was “un-democratically” shoved down our throats. I have to keep explaining to such people that compared to legislation passed in the 1960’s Obamacare is a minor triviality.

It’s amazing (yet sadly not unexpected) that so many seem to gloss over the rather draconian and spirit-crushing bits of legislation commonly refereed to as “civil rights”. Many seem to prefer to ignore or forget that among the “civil rights” accomplishments have been: legalizing abortion, promoting homosexuality, exalting feminism, attacking and attempting to destroy the family, de-constructing communities, rewriting history, and other equally civilization-crushing acts.

And these were done under the notion of “equality”. And to bring about “equality” our society had to destroy, in theory and in fact, freedom of association.

Since the “civil rights” legislation went into effect, Americans have been told (under threat of government force) who they must live among, who they can do business with, who they can vacation with, who their children must attend school with, and in what company they can congregate. All done to criminalize discrimination. Yet the most fundamental freedom that can be had (either collectively or individually) is the right to discriminate. Take away that right and freedom is instantly dead.

And the critical aspect of this is that prejudices and the discriminations they encourage are generally based on collective historical experience. They are an expression of a society’s hard fought for wisdom, enduring and solidifying down through countless ages of toil and struggle. They are not mere attitudes, but rather moral and social guidelines that define and defend a people.

Was It Real For You?

“Own a flat screen television? If not you’re missing out. In high definition everything is so clear and real looking …”

A trendy comment today on movies or TV shows is “realistic”. Over and over I hear this adjective applied to various bits of entertainment as an endorsement of it. The special effects are “realistic” or the fight scenes are “realistic” and so on.

I have to wonder, what exactly does it mean to say a movie is realistic? If there are writers, actors, directors, editors, pre-production, post production, sound and visual effects companies involved over the course of generally a year and half, what exactly does “real” mean in regards to packaged entertainment?

One example I’ve heard pointed out is the ubiquitous ‘blue screen’ or back-projections employed in films since the 1920’s, if not before. These were most commonly used in scenes where an actor or actress appears to be driving. Now they are quite obviously in a mock-up of a car in front of a projection of scenery going by. But does this matter?

I’ve read that the reason special effects have improved is that audiences today are more sophisticated than those in past times. However, is the need to be convinced that a space-ship is realistically rendered in CGI as it dog fights with aliens from Beta reticuli on the planet Zorbom really demonstrative of a sophisticated mindset?

It may seem an insignificant question but it gets to the heart of the current mentality of many a citizen of The West and their relationship with media.

And it isn’t just in the realm of goofy sci-fi films. A few years back I was encouraged to see a new James Bond film because, and I quote, “it’s not like the old ones. This one is more grounded and realistic.” I’ve never been much of a James Bond fan but I gave it a shot. And within the first twenty minutes I witnessed a superhuman comic book character running mile after mile without breaking a sweat, men free-climbing buildings like Spiderman, people jumping to the ground from two stories up (from atop cranes) –tuck-roll- then hop up and start running some more. This was capped off by the hero single-handedly defeating an army of heavily armed soldiers and slipping away during a massive explosion that, though wreaking tremendous damage and knocking everyone to the ground (save the hero), did not appear to harm a hair on anyone’s head. Apparently this was “realistic”.

The Me People and the end of the world

Reading Tom Wolfe’s The Me Decade and the Third Great Awakening circa 2010 doesn’t’ evoke nostalgia because it isn’t really dated. From asinine New Age psychotherapy to asinine New Age psychobabble, little has changed over the past 30 plus years. (The part about “communication” in that article is particularly contemporary, as well as spot-on.)

Of course that’s not surprising. Thirty years isn’t really that long ago and the twenty-something post-hippie, seeking “crystal healing”, adults of thirty years ago are now the middle-aged scholars and politicians informing much of social thought in America today. Still, there is a certain unexpectedness in how far we haven’t come in general attitudes and experience since then.

That can extend back even further though. Reading Charles Dickens or G K Chesterton describing America in their respective times is, in many ways, no different than reading a modern “stuck up” European article on America today. America then, as now, is painted as a country full of potential and problems, seemingly to perpetually reside on the precipice of calamity and comedy even as she continues to survive and thrive.

It is from that that I suspect the philosophical Me People are born. Which is to say, it is not consumerism that creates the philosophical Me People (as opposed to the materialist ‘Average Joe’ Me People), it is the discovery that the universe does not revolve around you and the age in which you live. It is not that they believe themselves to be the center of the universe. No, they simply believe they have found the perch from which the universe can be objectively observed in all its silly innateness. And from there they observe all the little human ants marching this way and that, foolishly believing that their little lives have meaning or individual purpose within the “greater scope of history”.

In a black cab, episode two

Central London early this morning.  Clear skies, cold air.  No crowds of the aimless and the atomised.  Not all that many cars.  Most of the city is still observing the leisurely ritual of awakening to the weekend.  But a few people are out running or just wandering in Hyde Park, all whites bar the only two blacks that seem to have got themselves out of bed without being paid to do so.  The rest of central London, meanwhile, is strangely bereft of Africa’s giftless gifts to civilisation.

Asia has stirred, however, and is shuffling along the pavements, coldly gazing ahead, nothing to do with me.  But if it could just stay like this, one finds oneself thinking, it wouldn’t be too bad.  One could almost mistake my old city for being really quite white.  Almost.  The illusion won’t survive too long in to the day, of course.

First the Marylebone Road, then Kensington.  An hour’s meeting with an Italian client finishes at 11.00am and I am done.  I take my leave by the huge glass revolving door of the hotel and step out into the still cold air to find a cab.  It is now mid-morning.  But the city is quiet and two cabs, black and maroon, wait to my right.  The driver of the first one, the black one, sees me approach and lowers his side window.  First impression, Nick Griffin’s bad-boy bouncer.  Shaved head, strong features, but a bright and intelligent eye.  Good man to have on your side if trouble comes calling.

“Victoria,” I say, and we are on our way.

The Fort Hood shootings

So Major Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, a Middle-Eastern Moslem born and raised in Virginia, trained as an army psychologist, but “devout” and deeply opposed to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, goes on a shooting rampage at America’s biggest military basis.  Thirteen people are dead, thirty wounded.  And what do we get to hear?  Why, that Maj Hasan (i) had been battling racial harassment because of his “Middle Eastern ethnicity”, (ii) had been “affected” by the stories of soldiers returning from theatre with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and (iii) was “concerned” about his own forthcoming deployment to Afghanistan.

Here’s the real story:

a) America is/was the aggressor in both wars.  The Iraq War was an illegal war that has claimed the lives of maybe a million Iraqis.  All told, four thousand Americans have died in these two adventures for no purpose beyond the security of Israel, the politics and profits of oil, and tax-theft by the military-industrial complex.  Yesterday another thirteen died.

b) Multiracialism doesn’t work anywhere in the West, even in an authoritarian structure like the US Army, and amounts to no more than a vast crime against Europeans.  Or whites if you prefer.

c) The mainstream media is always ready to (i) blame “racist whites”, (ii) offer “explanations” for mass murder if the perp is non-white.  Do you think that either of these poisonous little memes would be dripped into the public’s ear if Nidal Malik Hasan had been born Nigel Malcolm Hayes?

“My Fellow Gods, Lend Me Your Ears!”

It is a trying time for we residents of modern Olympus, the White Gods.  The mortals cry out to us in their trials yet curse us in their comfort.

Some claim our time is past. Others claim we never existed to begin with.  There is much talk of change ...

It is interesting to hear the insistence of the lords of liberaldom that Whites everywhere must accept racial equality and view all others as our equals, regardless that it betrays our inner thoughts and feelings on the matter.  Whites (peoples indigenous to Europe) make up no more than 12 or 13 percent of the world’s population, yet 100% of the direction the tolerance industry pushes is against the natural instincts and interests of Whites.  It is we who must see non-Whites as equal, not the other way around.

Just look at immigration.

To throw open the borders of Western Civilization to the third-world in the name of humanitarian concern is to rather loudly and unapologetically assert that, on their own, third world peoples (non-Whites) are incapable of building, managing or sustaining a society capable of the most basic of organizational functions.  In the 18th and 19th Century the idea was to bring Civilization to the savages.  That didn’t work out, so the 20th and 21st Century approach has been to bring the savages to Civilization.

However you turn it, White elites of the most liberal of stripes, operate on and encourage a national policy view that non-Whites are inferior to Whites.

And this manifests in other ways as well.

A toast to Gina

I want to use this brief post to express my thanks to MR reader Gina.  Here’s why.

She mailed me a few days ago to let me know that she had discovered during a visit to Manchester that MR is blocked by the web-filtering software used on one or other local authority network.  Internet filtering is something we’ve known about for quite a while.  It’s three and a half years since Johan Van Vlaams warned us about its coming.  At the time, the software was still being explored by the purchasing bodies (who are mostly central and local government bodies).  It was immediately apparent that this blog might be bracketed with the more stereotypical nationalist and dissident sites.  And, indeed, it was not very long before the first case of MR-blocking reached our ears through the auspices of erstwhile commenter Effra (WJ Phillips) who reported that we were blocked from the PCs in his local library.

Frankly, blocking the public’s access to any political site that doesn’t encourage law-breaking or otherwise break the law itself is a vexing issue - and not just for the website operators.  The censors, too, are exposed to the possibility of making errors of judgement.  Inevitably, it is not straightforward to identify a consistent and defensible basis on which sites can be blocked.  Official dislike is obviously not enough, though it’s the danger, of course.  An opportunity always exists for the ban to be challenged and overturned, and I am pleased to report that, in one Manchester local authority’s area at least, that is what has happened with us.

When Gina mailed me on 11th July, I asked her where the PC was located.  She did not immediately respond, but set about contacting the person in Manchester responsible for the decision to list MR among the sites deemed unsuitable for public viewing.  Today I received another mail from her with a message appended from the relevant Systems & Technology Manager.  It read:

Thank you for your enquiry about the web site majorityrights.com

After looking at the site we have agreed that the site should be unblocked. This should happen within 5 working days.

This is a very small victory.  But it is also gratifying and instructive.  We should not accept the dispensations of a hostile bureaucracy.  We do not merit the labels our opponents apply to us.  Ask why “antiracist/nonracist” thought so ill of us, or why Robert Lindsay considers Prozium and every White Nationalist “a maggot”, and you will receive no coherent reply.  Defending prejudice, as the social constructionists so love to tell us, is an impossible task.

Thanks Gina for doing a little bit to defeat the prejudice under which we labour.  You’ve set a good example for the rest of us.

Female Evolutionary Psychology and the End of Civilization

Attractive female sees foreign male walking down the street eyeing her.  Female sees native male observing this and doing nothing.  Female evolutionary brain circuits tell her: “Native male either does not want me or is fearful of this foreign male – either way, I test the waters with the foreign male.” Female eyes foreign male back.  Foreign male’s evolutionary brain circuits sees the female’s reaction and now checks the native male’s reaction.  Native male’s evolutionary brain circuits observe all of this and triggers instinctive fight or flight response.  First instinct:  Challenge foreign male to fight.  The native male’s higher brain functions capture and play out the scenario:  He beats foreign male and although his evolutionary brain circuits tell him, and the female, he passes the test, he himself has participated in building a civilization with the rule of law – law that now protects the foreign male from such fights.  Gangs of police, dishonor and ultimately rape at the hands of gangs of foreign males in prison are to be his fate.  Foreign male sees native male’s fight or flight response short circuit.  Female see’s native male’s fight or flight response short circuit.  Evolutionary brain circuits in both decree:  Native male is a coward.  Make him watch this…

And, so ends civilization: Not with a bang, but a fuck.

What’s powder keg in French?

From GalliaWatch, quoting Le Parisien:-

Violent incidents erupted Tuesday evening (July 7) between police and about sixty young persons in a neighborhood of Firminy, near Saint-Etienne. These clashes follow the hospitalization of Mohammed Benmoura, 21, a resident of the Grand H neighborhood, who attempted suicide while he was in police custody.

According to a spokesman for the neighborhood, “it all began around nine o’clock. The youths revolted. It was a big riot that lasted four or five hours.” They threw rocks at the police, who, with the assistance of reinforcements from the CRS (riot police), used tear gas and rubber bullets. Calm was not restored until four-thirty in the morning.

Nine persons were arrested. Firemen recorded thirty-two cars torched in Firminy and the surrounding towns of Chambon-Feugerolles and La Ricamarie. Fire trucks and police cars were also damaged by rocks, as was a shop in a business district, a branch of Restos du Coeur (a type of meals on wheels establishment) and an employment agency, according to the prefect.

Mohammed Benmoura tried to hang himself while in custody, Monday night, at police headquarters. Hospitalized in a coma, his prognosis for recovery is very uncertain. According to his family, he suffered severe brain damage.

The rioting ran into a third night.  Given that the young man who died in police custody was probably beaten into unconsciousness and then had a simulated hanging carried out on him, one can’t entirely sympathise with the policemen who had to face the rioters.  Still it is another reminder of how tinder-dry multicultural France is these days.

Betrayal, self-help and civil disobedience

The Ideological Caste in the broad sense - the corporate, banking and political classes, intellectuals and academics, media personnel, and so forth - are in league with people who are engaged in taking our country off us and taking our children’s futures from them.

Enoch once stated that immigrants are swaggering around our cities like conquerors. More people every day are also starting to see it as it becomes clearer what is really going on. I have written before that our elites are surrendering us to Islam by allowing them to take over.  At the highest levels, bankers and politicians make deals to get money from people like the Saudis, who finance Wahhabism, to conquer the West through a pincer movement of violence and cultural infiltration. The Prime Minister and Lord Mandelson asked the Saudis to put money into the IMF and offered them and other Gulf states more influence in global institutions in return. Barclays Bank, has had nearly £6 billion invested from Abu Dhabi and Qatar.

This has consequences in ordinary life.

When the doorbell rings

The Telegraph has reported on the demise of a popular and interesting blog, brought about without much principle by its competitor, The Times:

In April, an anonymous police blog written by a detective calling himself “NightJack” won the Orwell Prize for online political writing. And it deserved to, wrote one newspaper, “because it took you inside real life in a way you couldn’t go by yourself”.

But now you can’t go inside real life with NightJack. Visit the site, and you read: “The authors have deleted this blog. The content is no longer available.” This has been taken down in its entirety because the Lancashire detective lost a court case to stop his identity being revealed by The Times - the very paper that praised him to the skies when he won the Orwell Prize.

NightJack is Richard Horton, a detective of Lancashire Constabulary. Yesterday, he revealed how the paper had planned to end his anonymity. “One morning I heard a rumour that they had sent a photographer to my home. Later in the afternoon came the inevitable phone calls, first to me and then to Lancashire Constabulary asking for confirmation that I was the author of the NightJack blog.

Horton went to Court this week to try to preserve his right to anonymity.  The judge disagreed, citing the supremacy of public interest.  Precedence has been set, and no blogger in England and Wales is safe in his anonymity.

Horton’s blog is lost, but one of his more practical posts has been preserved in various corners of the web.  It is titled “A Survival Guide For Decent Folk”, the survival in question being that of the due process.  Here it is:-

Inside the mind of the Ideological Caste

Often, in doing my research for an article like this, I find it is almost impossible to believe what I am reading.  I am reminded that we are fortunate.  We have attained a perceptive grasp and know how to read between the lines.  But if you talk to the average punter in the pub, in the shops or on the bus, you will find that they know little about what is really going on.  They just know what they have been told by the media.

There is an awakening going on, very gradually.  But the media are still dictating opinion for the mass of people in the soggy centre.  The control is very great.

Everyone talks of the gutter press, and of their lies and deceit.  But people still form their opinions on what the press tells them.  The propagandist nature of that is apparent in the dumbing-down that we see in the coverage of politics and areas that the elites want to control, while the analysis on the sports pages of, say, football tactics, or analysis of football managers and their styles, is thoughtful, informative stuff.  It assumes a great deal of both the intelligence and knowledge of the reader.  The political coverage, however, treats him as an empty vessel to be filled with filled with foreign thoughts.

How do the establishment and their media deal with people who form their own conclusions from life, and see through the lies told by the media?  They ignore our perceptions and argue to the man.  They insult the speaker. Why don’t they calmly and reasonably explain why we are wrong?  Because our views are natural and traditional and instinctive.  They cannot face what they also think deep down, so they project on to us.  Those in charge, the “caste”, are the same as us deep down but don’t have to express it because they have good lives in nice areas and exclusive jobs; underneath, they have the same instincts as us and, though cushioned, feel the same shocks.  What they do when they feel unease sneaking in is to repress the doubt, and when dark thoughts bubble to the surface they force them to the back of their minds.  This tension is barely perceived as it is projected on to us.  They see what they cannot face in us, and that is why they never give a reasoned explanation to us.  All the press hate the BNP with a passion.  When I read their hate I look for sensible points in case there is a real expose, but it is always lies.

Money and the blame game

The fact is, I am not noticeably impoverished.  I have a house and a bit of land, a business, cars, a few sticks of old furniture, young wine in the cellar, no debt and money in the bank.  I don’t know why, because I haven’t done what you would call a decent day’s work since I was sorting bedsheets and theatre gowns in East Dulwich Hospital Laundry, aged 18.  Maybe life’s unfair like that.  Maybe it’s a mistake to go off and do the uni thing, I don’t know.

But is it wrong?  Is it morally wrong and spiritually - even racially - debilitating to graze the sweet meadows of middle-class life?  Are the bourgoies, as people who juice oranges and read French novels like to call us, to be despised for wringing some solace out of liberal capitalism?

Well, I hope not.  But this afternoon Tom Sunic circularised me with his his latest piece for Occidental Observer, and I’m beginning to wonder.  Specifically, I’m wondering how we creatures of modernity are supposed to be other than what we are.  I’m wondering what demands can realistically be placed upon mere men.

Tom’s article sways between a high-critique of the banking equivalent of “money in furs” and perfectly ordinary white people who “live on credit in their petty little niche with their petty little pleasures and without incurring any risks”.  Well, Tom has been in my home and knows the shameful truth!

Intellectualism and opportunity cost, Part 1

A commentator at American Renaissance had the following to relate about his time studying at MIT, regarding the differences between the study habits of Asian students and the study habits of white American students:

“Part of this may be that Asian males are brought up with more exposure to abstract principles with beauty in them, and aren’t told that beauty (at any level) is sissy. The MIT Asians seem to be more likely than the MIT white males to grow up playing piano or violin rather than football.”

I suspect the commentator was Asian, because his comment is full of negative evaluations of the mentality and study habits of whites vis-à-vis Asians. Typically one allows oneself negative generalizations about those outside one’s perceived in-group.

Rather than be bothered by the racial slander inherent in the comment, I think there is some criticism of contemporary western culture here that really ought to be stomached. Namely, we have become increasingly anti-intellectual in our cultural attitudes.

If I could summarize in a line the attitude of post-1960s western culture, it would be this: we have achieved this blessed state of material bounty, lets just enjoy it.

Enjoy it.

Nothing more profound than that: an injunction to partake of the bounty of the white man’s accumulated wealth. Surrounded by loved ones: Mother State and Father Television, Uncle Movie Theater and Auntie Shopping Mall.

Heroism with and without high principle

Reviled by the media … ordered by the Pope to recant … sacked from his post as head of the the traditionalist Society of St Pius X Seminary at La Reja, outside Buenos Aires, the good bishop Richard Williamson is now facing possible prosecutions in three countries.  They are Germany:

Regensburg District Attorney Guenther Ruckdaeschel said authorities were investigating whether the remarks can be considered “inciting racial hatred.” Denying the Holocaust is a crime in Germany, punishable by up to five years in prison.

… Ruckdaeschel decided to launch his investigation in Regensburg because the Williamson interview was conducted at a seminar of the Society of Saint Pius X, of which Williamson is a member, in the nearby town of Zaitzkofen.

… Ruckdaeschel says he will attempt to question the two Swedish reporters who conducted the interview. He said it was unlikely Williamson would have to appear in court because he is currently in Argentina, but the bishop may be required to submit a written statement in the case.

Argentina:

Richard Williamson, the British-born bishop whose excommunication was reversed by Pope Benedict XVI in January, is now the subject of a complaint before an Argentine federal court. The 68-year-old bishop stands accused of denying the Holocaust, according to evidence presented before Judge Julian Ercolini. In addition to

Tuesday’s complaint, he may face further charges. The head of Argentina’s National Institute against Discrimination (INADI), Maria Jose Lubertino, said Williamson would also have to correct or confirm his claims. “He is obliged to clarify the veracity of his claims. We are going to make a formal legal complaint and he may face up to three years in prison,” Lubertino said.

The institute has asked for copies of a Swedish television interview in which Williamson negates the existence of gas chambers in the extermination of six million Jews, Roma, and others during the regime led by Adolph Hitler.

and France:

A French human rights group says it will press charges against a Holocaust-denying British bishop.

The International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism said Wednesday in a statement that it would charge Richard Williamson with “contesting crimes against humanity” and denying the Holocaust in an article published in the German der Spiegel magazine and in a television interview.

In an interview published Monday in der Spiegel, Williamson said he needed “proof” that the Nazis used gas chambers to murder Jews during the Holocaust, despite a recent request by Pope Benedict XVI that the rehabilitated bishop distance himself from such views.

The pope’s January reinstatement of Williamson after 20 years of excommunication caused a global outcry.

A Wednesday poll by the daily Le Parisien showed 70 percent of French respondents disapproved of the pope’s decision to reinstate Williamson and three other ultra-conservative bishops. Some 27 percent said they approved.

In search of “proof”, meanwhile, the Bishop has ordered a copy of Jean-Claude Pressac’s Auschwitz: Technique And Operation Of The Gas Chambers.  If that was seen by his persecutors as an emolient measure of a chastened man seeking a way out, they may be thinking differently following his latest posting at his blog, Dinoscopus, which I reproduce below the fold in full.

Destroying our Youth Through Popular culture

One of the weapons used to destroy our young people is what is known as the Culture Wars.  Modern, popular music transmits raw uninhibited energy, emotion and excitement, often with tunes that are catchy enough.  But is negative and corruptive. Those who doubt this need only listen to, say, Heavy Metal or Rap, and then, perhaps, some Tudor church music, and compare the feelings and images that are aroused.  The first produce the desire to hurt or mistreat others, the second, an uplifting spiritual sense and a good feeling towards God and others.

The state of a civilisation can be assessed by its art.  There are deep similarities between our collapsing civilisation and the collapse of Greece and Rome, and we need to use their historical example as guides to correcting our own folly.  The modern manipulators are leading us into degeneracy through popular culture.

In the TV series, I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of Here, an annual show made by Granada Productions, simple people, described as Celebrities, are so degraded as to eat live worms and stick insects.  There are several levels to this degradation.  There is the cruelty it licences towards lower animals.  There is the encouragement to children to eat insects and slugs in the garden.  There is the nihilistic invitation always to indulge in further degradation as nothing more than a means of fun and entertainment.

Literally anything goes.  On one “reality” programme the appropriately named Rebecca Loos, a woman who is “famous” for an alleged affair with David Beckham while employed as his personal assistant, masturbated a pig.  On another show she fried and ate Kangaroo testicles.  This can only degrade our people and our culture.

Ross down, Brand out: the revenge of the Daily Mail reader

The British press has been full of the Affair of Andrew Sachs’ answer-phone.  A full transcript of the offending Radio Two and web broadcast of October 16th is here.

The details of the case and the sticky ends and financial pain of the wrongdoers are very tiresome.  I’m more interested in the sociological significance of a prank call gone disastrously wrong that leads to an amazing 30,000 people registering complaints with the BBC, steals the headlines away from global financial meltdown, and forces top BBC management into a five-hour emergency damage-control meeting.

To find out what’s going on here one has to look back to the Thatcher years, and the change to broadcast comedy that was wrought by a new generation of producers, writers and comics.  This was Alternative Comedy.  What had began as stand-up for a young and educated, right-on audience that, naturally enough, had no respect for the established way of doing things was soon brought into the mainstream of broadcasting.

The sheeple laughed at their little glowing tubes just the same.  All at once it was funny to see broken social taboos, and cool to deride the Thatcher government.  It had to be funny and cool because lots of people said it was.  So there.

Along the way the sheeple got to laugh at lots of things they never knew were worth laughing at before.  Men’s backsides, especially, but also any hitherto unspeakable bodily functions suddenly became riotously funny.  The sheeple seemed to understood that this was a humour, if one can call it that, predicated on racial and sexual equality.  They did not demurr.  It wouldn’t be cool.  The long tradition of the robust comedy characteristic of the British, and so loved by the working man, was being swept aside, and there was nobody around to prevent it.

So, Alternative Comedy’s proponents were, in their odd little world, revolutionaries, even those who were simply swept up in the outrageous audacity of it all.  These were the very first stirrings of political correctness this side of the Atlantic.  Its force and potency was not understood, nor its singular function of the ruthless dismantling of organic society.

Another knifing nearer the end of silence

Ms Cherrie Booth, a judge and QC who is married to a former British Prime Minister, appeared before the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee today to give evidence on youth gun and knife crime.

Here are some of the words she used to describe those who engage in such criminality:-

teenagers ... younger children ... youths ... young people

Here is how Detective Superintendent Vic Rae of the Metropolitan Police’s Homicide and Serious Crime Command described the suspects in the mob-murder of a white 16 year-old, Ben Kinsella:-

He appealed for witnesses to the disturbance in the nightclub to come forward.

Mr Rae said: “We know that there was a number of people in the club when there was a disturbance. This disturbance spilled out into North Road, Islington and up the road.”

He said the incident climaxed at the junction of North Road and York Way with the fatal stabbing of Ben.

He added: “At this moment in time we believe there were four black males involved in the stabbing. They were around about the same age of Ben or slightly older.”

Now, this is unusual frankness from a member of the super-correct Met.  In any case, four male suspects have been arrested and bailed.

Much more of this sort of frankness and a certain question will slowly formulate in the national consciousness.  The right to ask it is being paid for in the blood of white children.  The fear of being labelled a racist is still very powerful, of course, and no doubt we are not there yet.  More innocent blood will be shed before fear and squeamishness lose their hold on the framing of public discourse.

When they do, that question will still stand and will have to be answered.  It is: how long can Cherie and all the rest of us avoid the conclusion that nine-tenths of the gun and knife problem is inate black violence?

Cognitive elitism makes its play for the cultural elite

Something odd happened today.  An Indian gentleman who holds a British passport, and domiciles in my home, not his, misunderstood his ethnic claim to the spoils of England to include rights of social engineering.

Really, how ridiculous is that?  Just put yourself in the place of any half-serious social engineer at the Beeb.  What did these poor fellows think when they opened the Guardian at breakfast this morning, and read this:-

Broadcasters have over-compensated for their lack of executives from ethnic minorities by putting too many black and Asian faces on screen, a leading television industry figure said last night.

Samir Shah, a member of the BBC’s board of directors, said this had led to a “world of deracinated coloured people flickering across our screens - to the irritation of many viewers and the embarrassment of the very people such actions are meant to appease”.

Shah, a former BBC head of current affairs who now runs an independent production company, Juniper, as well as being a non-executive director of the corporation, used a speech to the Royal Television Society to call for current TV industry diversity policies to be ditched because they were not working.

... Shah said UK television had to go back to the drawing board to increase the number of black and Asian executives.

Speaking to an audience of television insiders, Shah said: “The difficult truth I want you to accept is this: the equal opportunity policies we have followed over the last 30 years simply have not worked.

“Despite 30 years of trying, the upper reaches of our industry, the positions of real creative power in British broadcasting, are still controlled by a metropolitan, largely liberal, white, middle class, cultural elite - and, until recently, largely male and largely Oxbridge.

... Shah said the reason there were so few executives from ethnic minority backgrounds in broadcasting was not because of institutional racism, but because managers liked to “clone” themselves when picking other senior staff.

... Shah said that if the UK TV industry did not change, then further regulation might force reform upon it.

“If you want to avoid that happening then maybe the industry ought to start taking really seriously the need to tackle institutional cloning,” he added.

“We urgently need to break the cultural hegemony that has dominated broadcasting in Britain if we are to tap into, and not lose, the creativity among all our people. It’s time to force the change, before the change is forced upon you.”

Creativity!  Force!  How do you like that?  And what’s this about “deracinated coloured people” and irritated viewers?  The fellow just doesn’t get it, does he?  Just doesn’t understand what we are trying to do here, and how much he and his children will benefit if they will just stay in their proper station.

But quite apart from that, what on earth would be the point of introducing a system which does for all those ghastly jingoists, Little Englanders, assorted racists, homophobes and aspidistra-owners if it also does for one’s pampered and perfumed self?  I mean, it’s all very well for these jumped up Bengali tea-wallers to make a bit of money from their grocers shops and buy some Queen Sharon monstrosity in Stangate, but we don’t want things getting out of hand here.  We don’t want them thinking they can contribute to Our Patriarchal Labour.

One has to be clear about this sort of thing.  Because if one’s not, frankly, Yorum and Gilean in the DG’s office might be quite tempted to break ranks and knife us in the back.  They think they run the place all by themselves as it is.  Bastards.

Here are some interesting and even some good news stories from the Brit media.

Lead story in the Times:-

Tide turns as Poles end great migration

A wave of immigration that helped to fuel Britain’s early 21st century boom is over, as the Polish plumber and thousands like him go home.

The Times has established that, for the first time since they began arriving en masse four years ago, more UK-based Poles are returning to their homeland than are entering Britain.

Statistics show that only 38,680 Poles signed up to the Government’s register of migrant workers in the third quarter of 2007, a slump of 18 per cent from the previous year. Polish officials say that Poles leaving the country outnumber thoses coming in.

Hard statistics on the number of Poles leaving Britain do not exist. There are no embarkation controls on EU members so they are are not counted out. But Polish officials, British employment agencies and the Polish media all believe that the tide of immigration has turned. Since Poland joined the EU in 2004, 274,065 Poles have signed up for work permits. They make up 66 per cent of all applications from Eastern European countries.

But a combination of tightening economic conditions in this country, a comparatively weak pound and an unprecendented surge in the Polish economy has made it unattractive for Poles to remain.

“At the end of last year we saw the tipping point,” Krzysztof Trepczynski, Minister for Economic Development at the Polish Embassy in London, said. “It’s a real change. There are now definitely more Poles going back to Poland.

Go Donald Tusk, I suppose.

National suicide and demographic decline in France

A translation by Fred Scrooby of an interview with Yves-Marie Laulan, author of Les Nations Suicidaires (1998).  Yves-Marie Laulon, economist and banker, has had a varied career that has taken him from French government cabinet posts to such international institutions as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and NATO, as well as positions with Société Générale de Banques and Crédit Municipal of Paris.  He has taught in a number of universities, including the Institute for Political Studies in Paris.  He has published a dozen works on economics and geopolitics in France and abroad.

The interview was conducted by Xavier Cheneseau, and was published Dec. 28 at Robert Steuckers’ Euro-Synergies website.  The original entry doesn’t give the interview’s date.  (Judging by certain details in the text, it may be a few years old.)

Xavier Cheneseau: With regard to demographics you seem willfully pessimistic …

Yves-Marie Laulan: It isn’t the author’s comments that are violent but the situation that is violent.

In fact it’s already nearly too late.  Demographic phenomena — the ones I’m dealing with, at any rate — have this special characteristic, that they are slow and they proceed largely unnoticed, precisely until it is too late.

Wartime ravages can be repaired in a few years — Germany and France managed it.  Recovery from the consequences of an economic crisis doesn’t take long.  But demographic damage can take decades, even centuries, to recover from — when recovery is possible at all. […]

But you’re partly right:  I’ve deliberately taken a provocative tone, because you need to make a loud racket to awaken the deaf.  And look at the dumbed down, dullened public opinion we are dealing with, anesthetized by daily bombardment with mass media!  Where filtering of information is concerned, today’s France resembles Ceaucescu’s Romania, only a more efficient version. 

Faced with this situation, a dissident having ideas that are out of the ordinary, such as myself — Soviet Russia’s Samizdat, as Pierre Chaunu calls it — humbly cherishes the hope, perhaps, of being, if possible, the watcher at dawn spoken of in the Bible (Isaiah), the one who remains alone at his post all night waiting for the dawn to break.
