Background on Volkmar Weiss

A German reader has emailed me as follows:

Volkmar Weiss is a German scientist, living and working in Leipzig in East Germany, born 1944. He is one of the very few scientists here involved in research about the heritability of intelligence. I don’t know in how far Weiss was involved, but the former “German Democratic Republic” had an active demographic policy, enouraging marriage and childbearing in general and especially among academics. Thus, the GDR was able to raise the mean IQ of the population from 100 to 103, writes Weiss in his very good book “Die IQ-Falle” ("The IQ Trap").

Weiss has an interesting alternative theory about the heritability of intelligence, his research shows not only one, but three overlapping bell curves, one big with a median of 94, a smaller one with a median of 112, and an even smaller one with a median at 130. Weiss developes an interesting social theory about the meaning of his findings - according to him, only very few genes are involved, and the “triple bell curve” makes sure there is always a “revolutionary” elite in waiting.

Does Weiss say that the group with a 130IQ median regresses to that level?

This hinting at the possibility of a complex internal structure to the cognitive profile of a sub-race only helps all the more to show why we should not tamper with things we don’t understand where excessive incompatible immigration is concerned. A race, sub-race, and traditional collection of races making up a community or a nation is an organic whole having its own self-contained properties such that massive population-transfers run the risk of inflicting monumental irreversible harm in ways we can’t even predict because we lack all understanding of what these internal structures are or might be. Race-replacement is the height of not only irresponsible folly but of epoch-making historical and intergenerational crime. It’s slow genocide, is exactly what it is, and it’s Marxist and Wall-Street inspired, meaning it’s coming from a combination of class-hatred, white-hatred, and Christianity-hatred and sheer greed, love of lucre, and mammon-worship. For that—for those things --we’re to go out of existence permanently as a race? God forbid! This epochal mistake, this infernal scheme, this injustice and crime of incalculable proportions has to be stopped and not just stopped but reversed!

Toward the end of the article “Evolution of Complex Hierarchical
Societies” (http://cliodynamics.info/PDF/Hierarch.pdf (2010)),
they state that “some kind of slow evolutionary mechanism
had to be involved.”
I speculate that this mechanism could be the one Weiss points out
in the article “The Population Cycle Drives Human History”
(http://www.v-weiss.de/cycle.html (2007)).
Incidentally, this was already speculated by the late Japanese
biologist Akira Yuasa noting that past geniuses in Japan had all
come from middle portion of the Japanese island where contacts of
indigenous Jomon people and Yayoi newcomers had taken place.
He also noticed similar patterns in Greek/Alexandrian civilization,
where indigenous Mediterraneans met Europeans. I’d personally
add Stonehenge builders to that list, where early Europeans
(basque types) met late comers (Celtic types perhaps).
I’m not promoting racial mixture. On the contrary, I’d suggest
viable societal maintenance program checking dysgenic effect while
not leaning toward eugenic program all the while fending off
foreign “invasions.” Recent socialist movement all over the
world is quite troublesome IMHO because independent study in
“Dynamics of alliance formation and the egalitarian revolution”
(http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2547893/ (2008))
indicates sudden sweeping change could take place under such
circumstances.
