Holocaust Ancestry
Lawsuit: Recognize 2nd generation as Shoah victims
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3387483,00.html
In a previous post we saw the use of the term, “Nazi ancestry.” Now we see that there might very well be “Survivor ancestry” too:
Children of survivors plan to file class action against German government, demanding that it recognize traumas caused by childhood in shadow of Holocaust
More than 60 years after the Holocaust, the children of the survivors are demanding compensation from the German government for their suffering.
Following an initiative to file a joint class action to second generation members from Israel, Germany and the United States, the Fisher Fund is holding talks with senior German officials in a bid to receive financing for mental treatments required by some second-generation Holocaust survivors.
The Fisher Fund was established seven years ago by Attorney Gideon Fisher, whose parents Mali and Yosef were Holocaust survivors. The fund, an independent body, grants scholarships and assists in places where other organizations are unable to help.
About a year and a half ago, after receiving a large number of requests, Attorney Fisher established a legal department in his office to deal with lawsuits filed by hundreds of Holocaust survivors and their children.
This brought upon the initiative to form a class action against the German government, demanding that it bear the costs of the psychological and psychiatric treatment many of the survivors’ children are forced to undergo due to their childhood in the shadow of the Holocaust.
According to data provided by the Amcha association, which offers mental and social support to Holocaust survivors and second generation members, about 4 percent of the 350,000 children of Shoah survivors living in Israel (about 14,000 people) are in need of mental treatment.
Amcha currently treats 878 members of the second generation who finance the treatment themselves. On average, each patient receives 80 hours of treatment a year, at the cost of NIS 300 (about $73.75) per hour.
According to the association, the annual cost of mental treatment for the second generation Holocaust survivors living in Israel amounts to approximately NIS 34 million ($8.35 million).
At the very end, organized Jewry gives its stamp of approval:
Second generation members in need of assistance, who would like to join the move, as well as organizations wishing to help the second generation members, can receive information by calling 972-77-200-9798.
Those who pay any attention to Jewry know that silence from those quarters is best interpreted as (perhaps cautious) assent. Jews have more voice per pound than any people on Earth (probably by an order of magnitude or so), along with a singular willingness to use it, and if they didn’t approve you could read all about it in editorials and columns galore. We’ll see how that pans out, I suppose.

As ever, the talkbacks are interesting. At best they boil down to zero concern from jews over the targets of this scam, the Germans; the commenters only care if this will generate anti-Semitism, whether this will make a mockery of actual survivors, etc.
I especially liked this one:
Agreed! I’m the son of a Survivor.
and live with my mother’s experiences everyday. They are a source of strength for me.
LOL, a bit too much honesty.
This is an important entry making fundamental points no one should be allowed to forget for very long. The worst offenders in this regard are the Jewish neocons who, to put it quite simply, starkly, and incontrovertibly, want Jewish nationalism for themselves as fervent Zionists, including of course a racially/ethnoculturally homogeneous Israel, while not only denying the legitimacy of the corresponding nationalism of Euro peoples but denying it with impressive tenacity, aggressiveness, even uncompromising fanaticism. This astonishing behavior on the part of the Jewish neocons (do they imagine no one is looking at them, or no one can see through their transparent and utterly disgusting hypocrisy???) is nauseating and unpardonable beyond description and furthermore invites “retaliatory” opposition to Israel’s well-being on the part of a growing number of people who otherwise would have strictly no reason to oppose the interests of that particular nation-state. These unacceptable and unspeakably destructive Jewish neocons, these blind, arrogant morons, are singlehandedly making more enemies for the Jews than the Jews can afford to have. Is that something they want? This is either the most narcissistic solipsism, the most ill-advised foolhardy bravado and nose-thumbing, or the blindest, most unjustified self-assurance the world has seen in quite some time.

As for Israel, it is exactly the Jewish equivalent of Nazi Germany. That that is so cannot be disputed by anyone on earth. Those who support one, as I do, must support both; those who condemn either, as the left does, must condemn both. There is no one on this planet who can dispute that.

The Jewish neocons are trying to deny that the advent of Israel has changed the status of the Jewish diaspora. They want to keep the diaspora the same but that’s impossible as long as Israel exists. They want to keep it the same because 1) they like living in the diaspora, 2) they can’t all make a living except in the diaspora, and 3) they rightly see the power of the diaspora-Jewish communities as guaranteeing Israel’s existence via the influence they exert on the U.S. and other governments. But the status of diaspora Jewry must inevitably change as a result of the existence of Israel; in fact has already changed, similarly to the way the status of marriage and unwed motherhood had to change with the advent of abortion on demand: they could not stay the same.

Regarding the present log entry, “Holocaust Ancestry,” my comments in this post apply, especially those in the final paragraph. The Jews come across as extortionists.

If I were a Jew I’d be deeply embarrassed by this new class-action law suit. I’d want to go hide somewhere.

Maybe the American Indians should get in on this action?
If we are to believe modern scholarship, the numbers of the holocaust of Amer-Indians was two to three times as large as the supposed Jewish holocaust.
They could learn a thing or two from the Jews.
I can’t fugure out who has suffered more. The blacks or the jews? Tell one that the other has suffered more and see what happens.

*This is consistent with the shooter’s purported physical size: either because of genetics and/or a more meat-oriented diet, Koreans tend to be physically larger than Chinese, with both genders having more pronounced secondary sexual characteristics compared to other Northeast Asians.
Indeed; I lived in a dorm with a Korean raised by Europeans, he was around 6’3”.

Study: Holocaust trauma is not passed down
http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1176152802397&pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull
Despite new lawsuits by second- and third-generation descendants of Holocaust survivors that they have suffered trauma, new research at the University of Haifa contradicts the theory that Holocaust survivors’ trauma is passed down to children and grandchildren.
The research, conducted by the psychology department’s Prof. Avi Sagi-Schwartz, director of the university’s Center for the Study of Child Development, found that second- and third-generation Holocaust survivors exhibit the same normative behaviors as those who are not the children or grandchildren of survivors.
