City’s ‘biggest hater’ gets 9 months in jail

A white supremacist, who bragged he was London’s “biggest hater,” has been sentenced to nine months in jail for spreading “the unrelenting message of hatred” over the Internet.

Tomasz Winnicki showed total disregard for a court order banning him from spreading hate messages, Federal Court of Canada Justice Konrad W. von Finckenstein said in a just-released ruling.

A controversial Catholic bishop in Argentina said he would lead a prayer meeting with neo-Nazis.

“The majority of the Jewish community in Argentina are very able businessmen with little moral principles,’ he said, adding, “If it means selling pornography, they sell pornography. If it means selling drugs, they sell drugs. If it means blackmail, they will blackmail.’

The government of President Nestor Kirchner responded to the statements by calling on the Vatican to remove Baseotto from his job as Catholic military chaplain, and announced it would no longer pay his salary.

The Vatican has refused to remove him.

A history graduate had been banned from applying for a post in a royal palace because he is white, British newspapers reported.

Kieron Keenan, 23, said he was told he could not put his name forward to work as a trainee museum assistant at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton on the southern English coast because he is not of African, Afro-Caribbean, South Asian or Chinese descent.

Investigator Removed From Georgetown Murder Case

The commander in charge of the investigation into the weekend murder and robbery in Georgetown has been reassigned after some controversial comments made at a community meeting Monday night.

Acting D.C. police Second District Cmdr. Andy Solberg was speaking to hundreds of residents following the stabbing death of Alan Senitt on Q Street Sunday morning. Solberg said that the suspects were in the area before the crime but no one called police.

“I would think that at two o’clock in the morning on the streets of Georgetown, a group of three people—one of whom is 15 years old; one of whom is a bald, chunky, fat guy—are gonna stand out,” Solberg said. “They were black. This is not a racial thing to say that black people are unusual in Georgetown. This is a fact of life.”
