Polls Show Pro-White Ascent in France

The last poll ordered by Le Nouvel Observateur – delivered by the polling institute Soffres – came as a shock to its leaders. As the magazine reveals in its June 1st issue, 8% of respondents answered that they were sure to vote for Le Pen at the next presidential elections in 2007. 9% answered that they will probably vote for Le Pen. Finally 10% said that they might eventually vote for Le Pen. In short, Le Pen’s potential electorate reached 27 percent – even as it is very dangerous in France to confess to an unknown caller that one is ready to vote pro-European.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa, June 7 /U.S. Newswire/—The following statement on recent developments on Boere Nationalism was released today by the Boervolk Freedom Foundation:

History is underway in South Africa once again, as the Boere, an indigenous white ethnic nation in its own right, declare their sovereignty and push for a separate homeland within the country that saw blacks legally disband the Apartheid system some 10 years ago.

Dr. Lets Pretorius, spokesman for the Boer nation (Boerevolk), and Mr. Riaan Smith, an attorney, met with met with Adv. Cetswayo and Mr. LH Mapholaba from the office of the Speaker of the South African Parliament on May 25th to discuss The Majuba Declaration, the Boervolk’s formal demand for an independent homeland. The Cape Town meeting was organized by The Boerevolk Freedom Foundation, which is driving the push for self-determination.

The following statements were put forward during the meeting:

1. The Boerevolk is a definite entity and must be recognized as such.

2. There is a distinct difference between a Boer and an Afrikaner.

3. The Majuba Declaration is legally sound, based on section 235 of the Constitution of South Africa.

Smith and Dr. Pretorius then demanded that:

1. The Boerevolk Freedom Foundation, and the Boerevolk, be institutionally recognized. The Foundation will be the formal mouthpiece of the Boerevolk until the election of representatives or deputies of the Boerevolk has been held.

2. A forum be created to discuss related matters and demands of the Boerevolk.

It was agreed that this forum will be held by the end of June, and will consist of delegations from both Parliament and the Boerevolk. The Parliamentary delegation will include the Chairman of the Constitutional Committee; the Minister of Agriculture of Land and Environmental Affairs, to address the Zimbabwe-like land grab currently taking place in South Africa; the Minister of Justice, to address the injustices against the Boerevolk taking place in South Africa’s legal system; the Minister of Safety and Security, to address the murders of farmers, and Black-on-Boere crime taking place.

The Chairman of Human Rights of Minorities at the United Nations, Mr. Stauffenhagen, has also received the Majuba Declaration.

For the first time in more than 100 years, the Boerevolk are actually being represented in South Africa. After 1902, they lost their freedom and were incorporated into the Afrikaner group and later into “White” South Africa under the Apartheid system.

Alabama AG Candidate’s Views On Race, Holocaust Catch Democrats By Surprise

Democratic Party leaders are wondering what to do about a candidate for attorney general who denies the Holocaust occurred and wants to “reawaken white racial awareness.”

Larry Darby, the founder of the Atheist Law Center, made an abortive bid for the AG job as a Libertarian in 2002, but only recently have his views on race and the Holocaust come to light.

He has no money for campaign advertising and has made only a few campaign speeches, but garnered 12 percent support in the June 6 primary in a poll of 400 registered voters last month.

Tory councillor defects to BNP

A councillor and church leader who taught equal opportunities law to university students has announced his defection to the far right British National Party.

But the 50-year-old said his switch was prompted by Conservative leader David Cameron’s priority list of parliamentary candidates for the next general election.

The Tories hope their so-called A-list - which features a high proportion of women and people from ethnic minorities - will help make them more representative of the population.

In a statement, Mr West said: “I have decided to seek refuge from political correctness by applying for asylum with the British National Party - Britain’s finest and most decent party - in our country’s hour of need.

“The Conservative Party’s list of candidates which deliberately exclude white male candidates in favour of women, non-white and homosexual or lesbian candidates, is discrimination of the worst kind.”

Ocean Frontier Fertility: The Global Prospects

The prospects are great for ecologically imposed patriarchy enhancing the fertility of whites via oceanic frontiers.  The majority of the earth’s surface remains not only uncultivated, but not biologically productive despite the presence of adequate sunlight and near-adequate nutrients. If recent experiments in iron fertilization of high nitrogen low chlorophyll oceanic surface regions are any indication, the primary ingredient lacking is the pioneering spirit that led to the cultivation and increased carrying capacity of the Anglosphere’s frontier territories: The United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.  It is reasonable to expect that the Anglosphere alone could increase its numbers by a factor of 10, relatively unmolested by multicultural supremacists, during this pioneering renaissance and maintain if not improve the quality of their populations.  Other, less sea-faring European peoples could enjoy smaller but nevertheless profound population and territorial relief.  Moreover this population increase could be very rapid if the fertility rates of the United States frontier is any guide.  This is a prospect that seems plausible in no other way short of world war.

Hart Attack

Since Lawrence Auster has, from his own particular perspective, already discussed the recent American Renaissance conference, I thought it may be useful to briefly examine that issue here.

There are a couple of points before I begin.  First, I was not at the meeting.  If any blogger or commentator here was present and is able to tell us exactly what happened, and what their impressions were of it, that would be most welcome.  For the purpose of this post I am going to assume that, essentially, Auster’s facts are correct, and go on from there.  I have heard from other sources that something to this effect did, in fact, take place.

Second, I have always had a high opinion of AR, and I believe it does much good.  Of course there are areas of disagreement, but I see Jared Taylor as a fine ambassador for the movement.  He is also the only prominent WN leader who has promoted the work of Dr Frank Salter - and has been selling On Genetic Interests from the AR site.  I don’t know why others in positions of similar prominence have heretofore basically ignored Salter.  Maybe they just don’t understand it.  Maybe they fear their followers, such as they are, won’t understand it.  Maybe they think it is too technical (God forbid!).  Or perhaps they are just too stubborn to accept new ways of looking at racial issues, or are jealous of Salter’s accomplishment.  I really don’t know.  All I do know is that the lack of attention to Salter’s work is a travesty and a tragic lost opportunity to inject some academic rigor into nationalist theses.  That Taylor has supported Salterism is, therefore, highly commendable.

Yggdrasil’s Movie List

At this stage in the movement for Euro-American survival, it is vital that we begin to assemble our own Media libraries filled with content that we can watch repeatedly - content that will gradually isolate us from the surrounding popular culture, and allow us to pay a smaller share of our incomes to the entertainment industry.

It is absolutely vital that we cancel our cable subscriptions, but that is extremely difficult to do unless we have quality media libraries as a substitute. Equally important, we need reliable information as to the movies you can rent or buy without fear of encountering the worst forms of negative conditioning messages and images.

Taylor’s fine words

The debate between Jared Taylor and Steve Sailer continues at VDARE. I was particularly impressed by the following fine words in Taylor’s latest article:

“Whites have a duty to their ancestors and an obligation to their children. Duty does not calculate the chances of success, as Mr. Sailer would have us do. Duty calls us to what is right.

“My children deserve a country in which they can be proud of their heritage, where their culture is taken for granted, where their history is not treated like a criminal record, where they can be confident their own children will walk in the ways of their ancestors.

“Indeed, all children deserve this—not just mine. This is why multi-culturalism and multi-racialism are frauds ... Every people should have the right to pursue its destiny, free from the unwanted embrace of others.”

Politics is an art, in which, amongst other things, we are called to put forward what is best in our own experience in order to inspire others to support our cause.

I think Taylor has achieved this in his reply to Steve Sailer. In doing so he is providing some sorely needed political leadership.
