Alexa Traffic ComparisonsNot that high traffic is the goal of MR, but I thought it worthwhile to extract some of the stats from Alexa, as unreliable a measure as that site is, that Wild Bill the subliminalist says evidenced my having driven readership away from MR. Looks like we’re the leader in our internet category for “Search Visits.”
The ability to superpose the traffic curves is a nice feature that Alexa offers. Go here,
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/www.majorityrights.com ,
and you’re at the traffic graph for MR.com for the past six months. Go to the “Compare to” feature just underneath the graph and type in other sites, then hit “Compare” at the right, to see the graphs superposed with MR’s graph. I just did with View From the Right, http://www.amnation.com/vfr , and Gene Expression, http://www.GnXp.com , and the different colored traffic curves were largely the same as each other.
For a few reasons it’s clear that Wild Bill doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
