AQUILON AND THE NEW EUROPEAN NATIONALISM

1. Ever since I can remember I have been a passionate nationalist; unfortunately in my younger days I was simply a petty Finnish chauvinist without any greater aspirations or understanding. I was re-living the past, I was stuck in the memory of the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, the time when the militaristic and often quite reactionary Finnish nationalism reached its high point.

A great deal of my militant chauvisnism can be seen as a reaction against the so called “Finnlandisierung” which meant that especially in the 70’s and early 80’s nationalism in Finland was a taboo. Finnish media and cultural life was controlled by leftists who imposed a guilt-complex on the Finnish people; the elite taught Finns to hate themselves because of what happened in WWII. So in retrospect I understand that I had to be what I was back then but I also had to evolve as well.

Eventually I grew out of reactionary chauvinism. One of the decisive moments in my life was in 1981 when the news about the Brixton race riots reached Finland. I suddenly realized that my kinfolk were under attack, that a hideous primitive enemy was threatening people who are of the same race and the same blood as Finns. Soon after this I became aware of the worsening ethnic situation in Germany, that the number of the Turks was constantly growing - and nothing was done about it.

These events got me to realize that if I get stuck in the narrow world of petty Finnish chauvinism I keep myself apart from my European family. It is clear that if I value the poetry of Shakespeare, the music of Bach, Händel Mozart, the art of Rodin etc. I have to be a pan-European Nationalist. Provincial nationalism is a dead end; it is emotional isolationism. It creates artificial division which is why it is a crime against the unity of our race.

Despite my pan-European awakening I still had much to learn. My greatest weakness was that in economic questions I was very much a neo-liberal. In the 80’s I was an eager supporter of Margaret Thatcher. I saw the world primarily as the world of economics and I believed that the laws of economics - as they were explained to us - were just as objective as the laws of nature.

However the massive economic depression in Finland between 1991 and 1995 forced me to change my views on economics. I came to realize that Economics is not a physical science, the laws of Economics are man-made laws. They are not objective, immanent or something you cannot revise. I had matured enough to understand that the activities of the human race cannot be explained by one theory or paradigm alone - least of all by Economics.

Since the mid 90’s it had become absolutely clear to me that a true nationalist must always be a socialist of some sort. One cannot be a nationalist and a liberal. Nationalism is a collective ideology and liberalism an individualistic ideology - they cannot be combined.

The fall of the Soviet Union also gave me an opportunity to explore socialism with fresh eyes - Soviet communism was no longer a threat to our country and the dogmatic Finnish communist movement had disintegrated. Finally it was possible to be a socialist without appearing like a traitor and finally it was also possible to explore socialism from a fresh point of view without having fanatic know-it-all communists around you threatening you and telling you what the correct party line is.

Since the mid 90’s my aim has been to create a synthesis between metaphysical nationalism and socialism based on materialistic philosophy - in other words I wanted to explain the pan-European national revolution by using historical materialism.

My socialist theory is very much influenced by Maoism because for the Chinese, Maoism is in fact a nationalistic ideology. In his writings Mao always mentioned patriotism in a positive light and considered socialist revolution and national revolution to be fundamentally the same thing. According to Mao without socialist revolution there can be no national liberation. Maoism is not plagued by “leftism”, the perversion of socialist theory which preaches the self-hatred and guilt complex of the European people. There are no leftist “intellectuals” in China telling the Chinese people that the world would be a better place without them.

2. As I was writing Aquilon my aim was to create a virtual nationalist leader who would be the projection our hopes and dreams, someone we are subconsciously waiting for - a nationalist Messiah, a Muhammed for the Europeans who gives us a new creed of national liberation, unites the quarrelsome European tribes and finally leads them into endless outward
expansion.

Aquilon is the embodiment of our rage, hatred and disappointment, Aquilon is the embodiment of our subsconscious, our inner beast. Aquilon is FUROR EUROPAEICUS yet at the same time Aquilon has a very cold, cynical and calculating side. Aquilon can be totally unscrupulous and will stop at nothing to get his way - you could argue that Aquilon is amoral but in my opinion Aquilon simply belives in his cause and for Aquilon the end always justifies the means.

I didn’t want Aquilon to be an idealized and clean character. It is very important to note that there is constantly a conflict within Aquilon - he is at the same time both cynical and idealistic, high-minded and brutal, honest and deceptive. Psychologically this makes him much more interesting than if he was simply “good”. Secondly this reminds us of the nature of our coming revolution: Our cause is noble and our demands are just but the revolutionary process itself will be bloody and dirty business. We just had better get used to the idea that WE WILL HAVE TO use every dirty trick we can and that eventually we will leave a trail of blood behind us.

Aquilon is the metaphysical/psychological side of my nationalist creed while the book “Revolution and how to do it in a Modern Society” is the more materialistic/rational side of the same thing. But still you can find hints of materialistic philosophy in Aquilon’s speeches as well. Even the greatest passion needs a materialistic and rational base.

3. Since Finland is situated in the northernmost corner of our continent, it means that politically we are very much on the periphery. In history Finns have never been spearheads in any political change, Finns only have followed with the great changes that have originated in the centre of Europe and have adapted to them - often with great skill, though.

Even today we can see that as nationalism is rising all over Europe the nationalist movement in Finland is very weak and undoubtedly will remain so also in the foreseeable future. Mostly this is due to the fact that immigration to Finland has been remarkably low and most immigrants in Finland are still white Europeans - most often Estonians and Russians.

Firstly I would say that the Finnish nationalist movement has very little to offer the great nationalist movements in the centre of our continent. However due to the fact that our nation is very small Finnish nationalists should always emphasize the PAN-European aspects in their work because the resurrection of reactionary petty chauvinism is a constant threat to European nationalism.

Finnish nationalists could also show some example in putting the past behind, forgetting the conflicts of the past, looking forward and finding allies in former enemies. Russo-Finnish relationships in general are commendable nowadays but still I would like to see Finnish and Russian nationalists together as brothers-in-arms fighting a common enemy.

4. I am very excited about the NPD (National Democratic Party of Germany) and its future prospects. I have been following the NPD’s web site for some time now and I believe that the NPD can make the much needed change in Germany. Actually a couple of years ago I tried to contact the NPD several times. I sent my writings and copies of my book to different addresses in Germany and I also sent e-mails but unfortunately I couldn’t contact anyone.

The NPD is both traditional and modern - it very successfully combines traditional German nationalism with a modern pan-European nationalism. The NPD looks forward and is ready to deal with the challenges the European civilization will face in the future. The NPD is at the same time both German and Pan-European and there lies its strength, because a modern nationalist must understand that we are in this mess together and only together we shall survive. The age of mini-nationalism is definitely over.

What I am particularly happy about is that despite its successes and constant growth the NPD hasn’t lost its radical character. The NPD will not suffer from the sclerosis of the fat impotent main stream parties. The NPD is radical both in nationalist/ethnic issues as well as in social and economic issues which is the winning combination, because we have to prove to the people that it’s only the nationalist movement which takes their everyday needs and worries seriously and is both willing and able to deal with them. The mainstream parties are only interested in serving the interests of global capitalism and the needs of the immigrant masses so there is a great demand for a party like the NPD.

5. Most of all I am interested in the art of propaganda. I find it so much more exciting and inspiring than debating over ideology and political theory. In my opinion political propaganda comes first and ideological contemplation only second. Masses respond to propaganda and not to stuffy dusty books written by boring intellectuals. Good political art captures and condenses a thousand tedious theoretical books into one poster, one picture, one sentence, one phrase, one cry. Political art transforms intellectual speculation into a physical object, a weapon in a struggle about life and death.

For me, the European Revolution is an aesthetic project. Political art tells us what we want: How we want our life to look like one day, how we want the world to look like one day. Revolutionary struggle is simply a process which will transform this vision into a reality. Ideology and theory only facilitate our struggle: they explain to us HOW and WHY we will create the world of our dreams. We don’t read great works of philosophy to find out if our race has a right to exist: we make the dusty philosophy serve our cause. Philosophy is our slave, the slave of national survival. Books are dead, we are alive, ideas don’t mean anything without people and we are the people.

Art is the stuff the future is made of, art moves people in mysterious ways, art is the soul of our race. Art gives the first wakeup call that things are about to change. This is why if we wish to seize the future we must seize art and the aesthetics. More than anything else I would like to be involved in making political art/propaganda. Just like the masses respond to visions rather than to theories. For me passion always comes first - I follow my instincts and emotions and if I have time I may spend a few moments intellectualizing it.

6. Well, first of all I would say that half the job will be done for us by our enemies. As long as the liberal elite is running the show things will only go from bad to worse. The liberals are totally unable to change their basic paradigm and therefore they will keep wrecking our civilization and coincidentally also undermining their own position. Year after year there will be more and more desperate, poor masses trying to get into Europe to get their share of the pie and liberals will still be dreaming that integration is possible if only we are willing to be submissive and apologetic - if only we are willing to die out.

But the explosion of FUROR EUROPAEICUS is just around the corner because despite what the liberal elite wants to believe no nation, tribe or community has ever accepted to die without a fight. The fact that we are kind and polite and that we get angry only very slowly doesn’t mean that we are suicidal. So far we have been turning our cheek over and over but it doesn’t mean that things are going to remain this way forever.

So we have to be there when it finally happens - the Great Paradigm Shift - the one the liberals didn’t see coming. I believe that starting in the next decade we will experience something that will very much resemble the 60’s but politically and culturally it will be its complete antithesis. Suddenly there will strong creative vibes in the air, new music, new fashion, new poetry will energize the young native Europeans. Sterile dullness will be broken and suddenly people will once again be full of hope, enthusiasm and determination.

The European Revolutionary movement will be a cultural movement - otherwise it cannot survive - it will be an aesthetic movement so that it can leave its mark on the world. The first wave of the European Revolutionary movement will be the artists, poets, designers, musicians, actors, script writers - they are the first to explain to us what the coming age is all about. The next wave will then be the wave of the masses, organized political activity and armed struggle.

In order to win we need people who work in the fashion industry or in the entertainment business, we need people who understand advertising and marketing - people who can broadcast our message to the masses by using modern means, a language that people can understand.

Our cause is noble but our means must be practical and effective. We have to transform progressive pan-European nationalism into a brand and sell it to the masses, we must customize it to suit the needs of different segments of potential supporters. Propagating nationalism is basically no different than selling Coca Cola - propaganda is about selling ideas. When good marketing and the needs of the masses coincide, the result may well be a massive breakthrough.

The New European Nationalism will be sexy, sassy, outrageous and glamorous. It will be the most alluring form of rebellion and our young people will love it. The New European Nationalism will be violent, brutal, fanatic and macabre and our young people will love it even more! When fat, impotent liberalism has reached its final stage of paralysis and soiled its own bed the only way to challenge this moral corruption is through discipline and organization. In this world of filth it will be an intoxicating power trip for young people to experience the Esprit de Corps of the nationalist storm troops.

The worst mistake we could make is to endlessly re-live the past, use outdated aesthetics and images and try to revive nostalgia as an answer to modern problems. The European civilization and the entire planet is about to face unprecedented challenges and dangers in the coming decades and if the nationalist movement in this situation gives the impression of being an anachronism we will lose all our chances for success.

Of course even the best marketing cannot create revolution out of nothing, I simply mean that clever and intellectually agile marketing captures and expresses the “Zeitgeist” before the politicians and sociologists realize what is going on. The next global megatrend will be in our favour but still we must be open-minded enough to learn how to surf on this wave.

It’s amazing what a bit of an inferiority complex can do to an individual. Whether imposed by a superior alien power (Colonialism) or self inflected.
Somehow whether individually or collectively we seem to march on and face more hindrance, upheavals and so on, with outdated ideals.

The spirit of the human and the will of man combined over ride any struggle. The final end of the road we always in search of the apex of finding our true selves.

And that’s how the European mind works my friends.

Provincial nationalism is the right approach. You can’t build a house without building the bricks first. You can’t have a healthy europe without healthy nations inside of it.

Good point Soren.

Kai: I obviously love your idea. But I have one objection. I know it will sound weird to all of you, but I dislike optimism. Our situation is not good, it’s actually worser than it ever was, and it doesn’t seems like anything it’s going to change it. The only way to make it change is through work and unity. When Soviets were harmed by Nazis, they didn’t wait Nazis to fall apart alone, they defeated them through their own effort.
Thus, using the hundreeds of groups already proving our disastrous situation, we should say “ok, we are worser than we ever were. What can we do about it?”.

As for the NPD, it’s amazing. I also heard they are Strasserists, and I agree with everything Otto Strasser said and did. It’s strange Kai couldn’t contact them, and I hope he sucess with that in the future.

Google says it’s a polo-player, a symbol used by Nostradamus, a variety of potato - it seems to have an antique resonance, like IMPERIUM and all the other archaic words so loved by those who aren’t interested in things past and whose eyes are already peering far beyond the future’s horizon…
(Look, there’s another ... Murros’s oddly-coined FUROR EUROPAICUS, which, I hope, isn’t related to an earlier Prussian version of the same ailment, FUROR TEUTONICUS,which had an unfortunate effect on the
once-wonderful library at Louvain…)
I sometimes wonder if the folks who post this sort of thing really come from Africa, the continent from which, according to Pliny, something new is always to be expected.

And why the emphasis on materialism? It seems to be a sine qua non here. A bit limiting, surely!

And is it much more than a better-written version of the ONWARD! UPWARD! OUTWARD! FUTUREWARD! stuff with which Lee John Barnes was so recently entertaining/annoying readers of this blog?
This inflationary and over-optimistic language may lead to a situation for which SIDEWAYS! and DOWNWARDS! are the appropriate keywords.
All the same, it seems to have had an intoxicating effect on Soren who has prostrated himself and gone into a motoric frenzy ecstatic overdrive situation, a one-man standing ovation. Thank God for Scrooby’s more guarded response.

Murros seems, like Barnes, to decry the past, despite the re-assuring nods to Shakespeare and Bach. We have to ask, how much of it did he actually experience?

What’s wrong with the occasional cry of BACK!? (A useful signal, btw, in rocky terrain at night, which may be actually where we are…)

And hasn’t someone here recently lambasted Alvin Toffler for his PARADIGM SHIFTS? (Note for the historically-minded: I bought AT’s books from the Alternative Bookshop at the same time as I bought Marilyn Ferguson’s starry-eyed and elitist The Aquarian Conspiracy, to which HG Wells’s unhinged The Open Conspiracy and its nonplussed and helpless sequel, What are We to do with our Lives? - soon to be followed up by his despairing swansong, The Mind at the End of its Tether - stood godfather.

These were, I thought, interesting pointers to the way the enemy was thinking: but I have not yet wished to make an alliance with that enemy or to use his terminology and symbolism even when he seems to be promising me power if I join his team. Murros might echo the new parrot-cry “Right and Left are geographical symbols with no political reference”.

This might all be nothing more than anti-US reaction, although reaction is disdained (old-Soviet fashion), by modernists who like to claim their ideas are totally original, not begotten on or inspired by something else. This left/right confusion/crossover isn’t really that new anyway, being actually quite old-fashioned.
Why is Maoist nostalgia superior to any other sort, pray? Are we going to rerun the 1917 revolution? Then we’re goung to need Kuhn Loeb… and another Lenin…
You say that there are no old-style Reds around any longer to tell you to follow the Party Line: perhaps you are one of the new-style ones, and would like to tell US what to do.

I should have understood what he was getting at from that, but I didn’t read it in all its detail. I thought at first it wassome warmed-over Marinetti futurist manifesto, even though it didn’t mention racing-drivers.
Ye Gods! I’d almost rather have the steaming ninsense of LJB -although when I looked up a picture of him I felt he was a bit odd-looking with his little diiy beard and funny tie. Sort of Ezra Pound clone.

The coming revolution will need mystics as well. Sadly (or happily…) the realms of knowledge do not consist exclusively of the rational and sensorimotor. Someone has to transcend the dialectic as well - and bring back the fire.

The age of petty Nationalism is over.
It will not work - never did, really.

There was once a funny film called, “Passport to Pimlico”,
A lot of people liked it. It was all about Pimlico,
A district in London, declaring its independence.

You can probably get a a DVD of it to watch
When you have nothing in particular to do.
You might find in it a wonderful inspiration!

There are other films a bit like it, from round about the same period
In the history of British film-making - one that’s quite amusing
(If you like old steam engines) is called “The Titfield Thunderbolt”

It’s about a little town that has its station closed by the railway authorities.
The local folk cannot travel about their region, as there were not so many cars then,
So they steal an old railway engine out of a museum and run their own service.

There were some people around a few years ago who were trying to revive Wessex.
That would roughly be the bit be called Thomas Hardy country now-a-days,
Or perhaps they mean the bit that was connected with King Alfred.

They had a little magazine which was really quite interesting.
It told you a lot of things. And there are some people near that part of the country
Who say “Freedom for Cornwall!” They like Druids, and Bards there, and Trelawney.

Some of them learn the old Cornish language which really died out about 1920.
They learn it from books, not from old fishermen and farmers.
I expect the Druids’ robes are made out of nylon and not out of rough linen.

I heard of a Scot who was driving in Wales when a speed-camera caught him.
When the form from the authorities came asking for money, it was printed in Welsh.
He said “Och, mon, what a frightful waste o’ my time” and replied in the Gaelic.

That is regionalism in action, the stirring of old loyalties.
I must go out and raise the standard of Potters Bar, that is, when I’ve designed it.
It would be fun to see the flag designed by those that share the old blood of Eccles.

The flags of Eccles and Bath and Bakewell could all have buns or cakes on them.
That reminds me: King Alfred, and Wessex, and Titfield, and so back to Pimlico.
My beautiful poem is thus now a CYCLE: You could sing it as a regional anthem.

An imperium would be easily ruled and manipulated by an elite of strangers. Smaller, more local elites are more trustworthy.

And Europe is not of one unmixed blood. There are important differences within that are worth preserving.

The only positive of a large state is power. Sacrificing the remnant northwest European races would be the price for such power.

It’s possible… for Europeans to unite in spirit without uniting in politics or blood.

One thing about the Catholics: they want every people to be equal and the world united under their unholy Institution… They’ve been infected by the isms. What heights would Chesterton have risen to as a High Anglican? I like Catholicism, just not the institution…

The Napoleon of Notting Hill is brilliant, but the Italians and neighbors (I know nothing of Malta) are probably in no need of examples of city-states.

It might be possible to unite Europe under religion while remaining separate, but at least the Catholic Church would seek to expand the boundaries to include Skraelings… The Eastern Orthodox Church I’m told has a better system for nationalities.

With Christianity overtaken, I’m more inclined to unite under blood with a similar orientation to CC. So, I’ll just let him speak for me… There is something to be said for balancing power with the local too.

Northwestern Europeans could be called Atlanteans, as a jest. I made the mistake of telling someone of Eastern European dissent that - he put me on “ignore”, lol… It seems “Nordicists” (which apparently the old American definition of white would fall under) aren’t all that popular among certain camps, even though in our visions we’re standing on equal or near equal footing with other related kin groups…

With Oceania and North America, a Nordicist or whatever power structure could be pulled together. It looks like America will be half Mexican by 2040 at current trends, so I guess it comes down to: what’s left?

Russia too is promising, but I don’t understand why Russia isn’t declared higher ranking than the others within the federation. It seems like it would be placed at the center somewhat - similar to the British empire.

One thing’s for sure: it’ll take professional-like nationalists to beat the professionals who are working day and night against them. I’m not up to speed enough on the latest global developments to compete, and this is somewhat as JamesUK said a global game. It’ll take a disciplined, near-full time minority to compete. And if possible that minority should raise a family too (to carry on the struggle). We’ve been soft for too long. It’s not an unwillingness to do what’s necessary but rather an unwillingness to face reality and work hard.

Frank, although GKC was never in his earlier days much of a church-goer, he WAS a friend of Conrad Noel, who burned lots of incense while wearing a chasuble, rang sanctuary bells and probably used holy water and auricular confession: I’m sure he and another “Spike”, Percy Dearmer, are mentioned in GKC’s Autobiography. In fact before his conversion to Catholicism GKC WAS more or less a High Anglican.

Although he later became a Distributist, he certainly didn’t want a network of little city states: while treating the idea with the greatest sympathy, TNoNH is actually a strong satire on such ideas!

Gorboduc - I’m not sure if you can understand, but I WANT to fight. I WANT to see blood flowing in the streets. Bloodlust is what motivates me. And I make no apologies for it. Maybe it is because I am a thug or barbarian at heart, or perhaps it’s due to my being absofuckinglutely frustrated by the pathetic beta response from racially-conscious Whites thus far, or maybe because I have war in my genes (I am German/English—and proud of it—after all). Or, maybe it’s because I’m bored with modern life and crave some excitement. Whatever the reason, I see conflict coming and I welcome it 110%.

In fact, I am: not long ago in these pages I announced the start of a Catholic sect combining Sedevacantism and explicit rejection of forced race-replacement of white people. Being the only member doesn’t faze me, Gorbo: as you know, ranged against one man doing right will be thousands and millions instead of the other way around. I don’t identify what’s right by looking for what draws the biggest crowds. Nowadays it’s almost the opposite.

I’ve already mentioned, any religion that says two plus two equals five or the equivalent is false, a false religion. Mainstream Catholicism spectacularly fails by that standard. I don’t take failures and falsenesses for my religion, Gorbo.

I can’t say for sure for what’s fueling the all this purchasing. I can tell you what I see when I go to the range. They tend to fall into three groups.

I see old military guys, cops, and gun enthusiasts like me. We’re always around. We were there before Obama got elected. We bring the same stuff and tell the same stories. Maybe once in awhile we bring a new one, or rent something we’ve never fired, but mostly it’s a lot like fishing. Admittedly there’s a couple of these folks come off as a little paranoid. (There’s this one jewish guy. I hate getting cornered by him. He’s always got the latest on why I should be afraid.) But, on the whole, good people who just enjoy their guns.

Then I see new gun owners. Guys or gals who just bought a new pistol or maybe even a rifle. They just want to make sure they’ve got one, and know how to put a round through it. For whatever reason. Be it Obama, or a story they heard, or maybe they know someone who got raped or attacked. They’ve all got their reasons. Some just want to try it out. Incidentally, a lot of these folks are black, despite your sarcasm. They went with a buddy or family member and it was fun. So they decided to give it a try on their own. Some of these eventually become regulars. But most are there for the sake of saying they have one and know how to use it.

Then there’s the oddballs. He’s never fired a gun in his life, but he’s decided today is the day. “Everybody needs to learn to shoot a gun,” he says. “It’s just a matter of time before the shit hits the fan. We gotta be ready.” Ok, I think to myself. I’m ready, now please stop pointing that loaded .45 at me. “Barrel up buddy!” I respond, and then move two lanes down.

I can tell you this. The first group has gotten a little bigger. But the second and third group are the ones causing the shortage. People are worried. They don’t like Obama, or the government, or society on the whole. I don’t blame them. And while you may think it’s funny, in the end, for whatever reason, they are all Americans exercising their Second Amendment rights, and that’s just fine with me.

Fred ~ I’ve noticed it too. I’ve seen more people at the range. In particular I’ve seen more dads with their sons and daughters. When I mentioned this to one of the guys working there, he said they have seen a huge increase in children taking the course and learning how to shoot.

Incidentally, I spoke with a young (White) guy the other day who delivers sandwiches and other food and drinks to office buildings. We started chatting and he casually mentioned that he was going to the desert to shoot guns this weekend. I inquired further and he said a big group of ex-army, marines, and police go to the desert east of Los Angeles every month to train. “Train for what?,” I asked him. “For when things blow up,” he replied. He said he is just getting into guns now and thought it would be a good way to learn how to shoot.

I disagree that “Optimism is cowardice”. Feeling reasonably positive about prospects is not necessarily deceiving oneself, and such optimism will encourage rather than discourage action.

However, the adage does bring up some points on propaganda and how people can be manipulated into passivity with feel-good BS.

So I see optimism having a profound and a petty aspect. The profound embraces one’s situation, whereas the petty brings the focus onto some feeling and leaves it there.

I used to think that optimism and pessimism were entirely irrelevant - one’s feelings after all. But I don’t see it that way now. People need to be inspired for the challenge. But Optimism as a concept may not be the right description for this, in fact it isn’t. Though, to repeat myself, it can be used to describe something noble.

Gorbo, you’re sort of an Evelyn Waugh type of “conservative.” Does your type object to England’s being replaced by a race of coffee-colored men? Or would that be perfectly OK as long as the coffee-colored men are good Christians?

Forgive me but I don’t clearly see what your strong objections are to today’s racial transformations (or whether you even have strong objections), though I do see (at least somewhat) your objections to today’s cultural ones.

You understand this site is not solely culturalist like BrusselsJournal.com or Perry de Havilland’s site or Gates of Vienna or Little Green Charles Johnson Turds. This site advocates for cultural preservation and also racial preservation. Knowing that, what is it, exactly, that draws you here? Are you in favor of racial preservation of existing populations of white people or just preservation of their particular cultures (which can’t be preserved without them, any more than can the personality of a particular man without him, but let that go for the sake of argument).

You strike me as one of these Christians who thinks if everyone would just be and remain Christian all will be fine, questions of race notwithstanding. I should warn you though; not only am I not a metrosexual, but I’m also a borderline Prohibitionist. You’ll be relieved to hear though that on occasion I am dragged off to the pub.

My point is unlike in my teenage years, I now err on the side of too little such indulgences. I got drinking and smoking (tobacco) out of my system as a teenager, and by the time I hit college and especially when I turned 21; it had all lost its appeal. Most of the other little children here will grow up too.

I do not envision a new hippie movement but rather an anti-hippie movement of Okies from Muskogee. Nationalism is fun in a more Stoic sense. Metrosexuals are good for passing out fliers and little more.

I’m not fully familiar with the crowd everyone here rubs elbows with. I’m a traditionalist and a Christian, and I find race to be a heritage worth preserving and fully within Christian teachings. I also honour my pagan ancestors, and I reject the notion that they were entirely evil (the Holy Spirit did surely influence them because we find good points).

For nearly 2 years now I’ve been working on a fun but educational traditionalist website (that would not allow comments so it wouldn’t compete with MR or the other popular sites). It would center around the great men and traditions I’ve thusfar discovered and not around myself…

So, I like it when posters mention “fun”... The paleos of the past failed to build a popular movement for a variety of reasons: 1. failure to adopt new technologies 2. failure to be “fun”. possibly 3. failure to target audience (not enough Protestants and too many Catholics and Jews and big city folks). I happen to be a Southern Protestant - one of the two major target groups within America, and I’ve met a lot of brilliant bloggers (many my superior) who similarly fit this or the other Midwest target group. The right people are here in America and getting educated, so maybe if I and others begin to act we’ll see an impact. Maybe I’ll have a chance to contribute - the opportunity to serve is the greatest honour a nationalist can be given.

It’s not that these things ought to be applied to “fix” American society, American society is beyond repair. Rather, these are the attributes for the renewed native American radicals.

Movements can either look forward to some future paradise or backwards to a past glory. America has plenty to look back on. Those who want to move forward to live with negros and Mexicans in Last Chance Armada’s “river of sperm” and pursue a GE paradise are on one side. Those of us who defy such a fate are on the other.

Dasein ~ Thanks for the recommendation. No, I have not read them, though they have been discussed recently over at TOQ Online. I’m still working my way through Benoist, Houellebecq, E. Waugh, and Junger.

I’m pleased to see mention of style and fashion. ‘Retro manners and retro dress.’ Alex Kurtagic at TOQ has discussed the importance of style marketing to appeal to the public and gain converts. I happen to be heavily into classic men’s clothing, fine English shoes, and certain luxury items. I think style is highly underrated in WN circles. It’s unbelievable to me how many WNs simply can’t get it together sartorially. They look like slobs. I think it’s important to dress well and keep fit.

And learn to fight (by taking a European martial art - some fence others wrestle or box or take an Eastern art) and how to shoot. I like adding hunting to that because it does connect you with the wild and teach you to trick your prey, which is useful for war. We’re supposed to be fully honest among our own; but among the enemy in war (which doesn’t necessarily involve violence), deceit’s necessary.

Exercise supposedly improves a man’s courage too.

Lowell has mentioned in here the importance of style too, and of appearing like an aristocrat. Speaking well and learning rhetoric and proper grammar is good too. As whites we ought to honour the English language - especially those of us in the Anglosphere.

We all seem to echo off each other similar recommendations.

I agree with what you’ve written here. I’m from an old Catholic family, and educated by the Jesuits in both England and the US. But in recent years I’ve fallen away, for some of the same reasons you mention here. In many ways the RC church has been transformed into a branch of government to transfer White wealth to the third world. Or, in other ways, to import the third world to White countries to sponge off White wealth. The RC church has been infiltrated and co-opted, especially in the US. I don’t trust them.

Catholics seem to have a weird negro fetish, too, but not as bad as the Anglicans. It’s more of an Asian and Hispanic fetish. Two of the most traditional Catholics I’ve ever met were both ex-Jews in London tied to the SSPX. When I say they were ex-Jews, I mean they were still Jews but Jews converted to Catholicism. It was impossible to forget their Jewishness. I was reminded of their Jewishness every time I looked into their face. Their Jewishness was written all over it.

Generally what happens is the Vatican doesn’t think up the worst imaginable evil to inflict on people by itself, the Jews do that then the Vatican lovingly adopts it as official Catholic Church doctrine, regretting only that it wasn’t the first to think it up. Hopefully Wilders isn’t a distraction and will actually help his people… Throwing out Islam to defend liberal society or defend Israel… that’s less than ideal.

In America the anti-Communist “capitalists” engulfed the previously racial and traditional.

In rallying for liberal society, there’s a danger the participants might actually come to believe in what they’re rallying for… And after slowing down Islam, they might come out strongly pro-Israel and strongly pro-liberal.

The worst mistake we could make is to endlessly re-live the past, use outdated aesthetics and images and try to revive nostalgia as an answer to modern problems. I should add that Zemmour, also Jewish, is fairly good. He’s a Jew whose family was originally from North Africa (I don’t know which place he was born in, France or the Maghreb). The French Jews who control French TV have been putting him on TV a fair amount, apparently as a saftey valve on the pressure-cooker, letting off a little steam so the whole damn thing doesn’t blow sky-high.
