Bilderberg 2008Flemming Rose of cartoon fame ... George Pratt Shultz, 88 this year ... Dimitris Papalexopoulos, CEO of a Greek cement company ... Paul Wolfowitz, the first president World Bank to be (effectively) dismissed in its 62-year history ... There were some strange birds in Chantilly, Virginia when the Bilderberg 2008 came to town between 5th and 8th June. Amongst all the usual political, banking, legal and multinational suspects, there were about a dozen CEOs of companies I have never heard of. Why was Harold Goddijn of the Dutch car satnav specialist TomTom invited to participate? RFID? And as well as the Greek cement guy, Bertrand Collomb, Honorary Chairman of plasterboard manufacturer Lafarge, was also in attendance. So what’s the fascination with cement and plasterboard? It’s certain, of course, that we will never really know. Here, anyway, is the full list of attendees as published by Prison Planet:- Honorary Chairman: BEL “Davignon, Etienne” “Vice Chairman, Suez-Tractebel” DEU “Ackermann, Josef” “Chairman of the Management Board and the Group GBR “Bredow, Vendeline von” “Business Correspondent, The Economist” AUT Austria Posted by Guessedworker on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 06:07 PM in Global Elitism Comments:2

Posted by Fred Scrooby on June 20, 2008, 05:41 PM | # This could have gone under Nuenke’s “Shutting Down Debate” log entry, but the Bilderbergers, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Trilateral Commission are part and parcel of the totalitarian oppressor state which is busy shutting down debate, so I’m putting them here: over at Snouck’s we learn of ongoing government intimidation of bloggers governments dislike as another one is ordered to report for police interrogation, and Geert Wilders soon may no longer dare to leave Holland lest he be arrested on a Jordanian warrant and sent to that country to stand trial. I dunno, I got this funny feeling about Vaclav Klaus ...
... that he won’t be invited to join the Bilderbergers any time soon, it’s weird, I can’t figure it out, it just popped into my head, no rhyme or reason to it ... I mean, why that thought? ... and Why him, of all people? I mean ... why not Arnold Schwarzenegger? or Chris Rock? or ... Barry Manilow while we’re at it? .... Why Klaus and not them??? ........
Maybe it’s just indigestion, something I ate? ....
But ya know, it couldn’t be, because ... it’s strange, but yesterday I got exactly the same feeling about Vladimir Bukovsky
and I had something else for lunch yesterday ...
And then I heard — like these voices or something .... inside my head — telling me these two guys ... now get this, it’s wacko .... they won’t be invited to join the Trilateral Commission or the Council on Foreign Relations any time soon either ....
And to top it all off, the other thought that came to me was Max Boot’s a shoo-in for membership in all three ...
I know, I know, that’s the weirdest thing but it’s like radio waves or something, like my brain’s a radio receiver and I’m getting these weird transmissions from who the hell knows where? .... So I figure I must be clairvoyant, ya know? The way these weird thoughts just come to me — I dunno, could it be my tooth fillings? I’ve heard they can do stuff like this .... maybe I should go out and buy a lottery ticket tonight? .... or ..... I think I’ll go to the race track tomorrow, bet on a few horses ....
