Blacks get a pass again

Family-Like Program Opens Brave New Chapter for Black L.A. Students

When Kandi Boyd was called into a school assembly last year at Cleveland High School, she had no idea she was stepping into an innovative learning program based on the old-fashioned notion that personal attention can make a difference between success and failure in school.

What Boyd encountered was an auditorium full of African American students, faculty and staff behaving like a family, talking about race and cultural attitudes, upbraiding one another when needed but also expressing care and respect.

The program, named the Village, was created three years ago by African American faculty at Cleveland High, in Reseda, amid some controversy, because it is aimed only at black students. It focuses on forging personal connections with students in a communal setting that epitomizes the African proverb “It takes a village to raise a child.”

Critics are referred to, but not quoted.  Try and imagine that being the case with an identical story involving whites.

Hilary Clinton’s preposterous notion that “It Takes A Village” was expanded into what passes these days for a book, and admired, no doubt, by Oprah-watching cretins whose bovine acceptance of silly media slogans is mind-buggering.

In Hilary’s case, it didnt take a village to raise her - just a prosperous lawyer father and stay-home mother, live-in domestic help and a fine private school which she later described as “too White” in tones of regret and apology.

Still, despite these numerous advantages, she was unable to acquire sufficient education to discern the true character of the plebeian shyster whom she married.

So what. That’s life so deal with it b/c u are too weak to change it anyways. Just one little person with a little mind and full of anger. A whining child “this is unfair mommy”. Get over it.

So what if blacks are allowed and encouraged to act with solidarity whilst Whites are punished for identical behavior?

That is what we call a double-standad L.T. and it pisses us off.

We are not too weak to change it, we are just in the process of learning how to act collectively enough to change it. We are not just “one little” person, but a lot of White people.

Majority Rights gets a lot of visitors and there are numerous other blogs where Whites express ethnic solidarity and their disdain for the prevailing social order. Your kind is in for some rather large changes in the near future with Mexicans slaughtering you on the streets on the one hand and angry, politicized and reactionary Whites voting as a block on the other.

Regarding this post and specifically the last statement. Why consider the same situation with all whites? In order to do that and not have a backlash or w/e then we would have to live in an America where the dominant group was not white but guess what…. we live in an America where “white” (which is nothing but a collection of various groups of people because there is no “white culture” per se) people are the dominant group. This makes a difference. Im just justifying anything per se but i’m trying to make you realize that because of the “racial” structure of this country and the problems that face non whites, minority groups need forums so they can form bonds with each other and help solve the problems they face in a nation where they are stigmatized in certain ways etc. I dont think that any such group should isolate themselves. I dont think anybody necessarily should. It should be an open group but with the aim of getting people together to help solve their problems.
