Chinese RacistsI assume, with considerable justification, that the readers of this blog are familiar with American Renaissance. This story from Amren caught my eye. If one has even a rudimentary understanding of human instincts, the story would not come as a surprise*. If however one’s mind is clogged by the cobwebs of modern pieties, perhaps this is the 4,000 volt shock that will remove some of those cobwebs (Liberalism is a notoriously tenacious disease. A cure for it is not easily found. But stay with us you Liberals and you may perhaps see the light of sanity some day). Now, back to the story. There is something comical about stories like these for they often demonstrate how utterly thick and ignorant your average leftist must be. For all the effort that has been expended on white “racism”, it may not have occured to them that “racism” is actually one of the most natural instincts in man. Even more so, this story punches a giant hole in the theory that only a society that is steeped in a certain conception of science can practice racism because race itself is a scientific construct. I doubt if the Chinese read the Bell Curve before engaging in this particular vulgar outburst. *at the risk of stating the painfully obvious, I do not of course endorse the use of such foul language against any member of the human race. But what this story does is educate us about human instincts. That cannot be argued. Posted by Phil Peterson on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 03:54 PM in No particular place to go Comments:2

The Chinese hurling racist epithets at the American Secretary of State isn’t news in America, but it is news in Australia: This constant lying (usually by omission) by the media is the most important issue of all. If I had just five minutes to make my case, I’d spend four and a half of them explaining the media situation. 4
Posted by Stuka on April 14, 2005, 08:31 PM | # You should hear what the gooks say about whites. The Chinese are the worst. I recall an article by National Review writer John Derbyshire (an Englishman married to a Chinese woman, with two mixed-race kids, resident in Long Island) a few years ago in which he revealed that he subscribes, out of an interest in Chinese affairs, to a few email lists for Chinese academics in the US. The anti-white racism expressed by these Chinese, he wrote, is shocking. I don’t doubt it. Ah, the joys of multiculturalism… 5
Posted by Fred Scrooby on April 14, 2005, 09:17 PM | # Here’s part of a comment by Richard Poe which dates from a couple of years ago: [...L]et me quote from the Chinese-born author Chin-ning Chu, who wrote the following in her book The Asian Mind Game (Macmillan 1991; pp 8-9): “In Asia the idea that one people is racially superior to another is almost universally acknowledged. Asians do not have the same sensitivity to racial issues as do Americans. The issue is not as emotionally charged for them. Asians regard it as natural to feel that their race, their nation, their province, their city, and their family are better than yours. [snip] “The preoccupation with race is so acute in America that one cannot make reference to race at all for fear of giving offense. Henrietta Anne Klauser, author of Writing on Both Sides of the Brain (Harper & Row, 1987), told me of an excited call she got from her editor prior to the book’s publication. The editor insisted on a sentence being rewritten because it contained a racially offensive word. This is the sentence: `I have great respect for paper and I daily bless the Chinaman who invented it.’ The sentence the editor found acceptable was this: `I have great respect for paper and I daily bless its Chinese inventor.’ ... It is very hard for an Asian to understand what the problem was with the original. [snip] “Asians do not feel guilty about thinking in racial terms, but they do understand that Westerners, especially Americans do. They will often use accusations of racism to disarm their Western opponents. The same Japanese politician who loudly imputes racist motives to American criticism of Japan himself believes implicitly that the Japanese are racially superior to Caucasians, and also to their Korean and Chinese neighbors. He would never admit these beliefs to a Westerner, but among Asians it is so commonplace to think in racial terms that they do not even bother with denial or guilt.” Chin-ning Chu, The Asian Mind Game, Macmillan, 1991, pp 8-9. _____ ( * ) I don’t use the Pin Yin romanization if I can help it, any more than I use words and names such as “Ho-Chi-Minh-ville” for Saigon, “Ukraine” (without the article) for the Ukraine, “Inuit” for Eskimo, “Native American” for Red Indian, “Myanmar” for Burma, “Saami” for Lapp, “Eastern Asian” for Oriental, “Ms.” for Mrs. or Miss, “Zimbabwe” for Rhodesia, “maize” for corn, or any of the others. ( ** ) When “black” is used where Negro is meant, an extremely unfortunate category of leftists and Marxists go round trying to pretend Negroes don’t exist (they can’t exist in Marxism, you see, because in that, everything wrong with the world is supposed to be the fault of capitalist oppression of the workers, and Negroes just don’t fit well into that idea) by the tactic of confounding them with everyone else who is the least bit swarthy-looking, such as Italians, Greeks, Levantines, and one-hundred-percent white (but tan) North Africans. Thus, if you play that game and are not careful you get things like “Cleopatra, Julius Cæsar, St. Augustine, Socrates, Moses, and Jesus Christ were all Negroes” (because “swarthy means black people”). I would love to be able to be “hip” and conform to the current fashions, and say “black” exclusively for the Negro race, but as we all know, Julius Cæsar and the others weren’t Negroes, so to avoid deliberate Marxist obfuscation, it’s better in certain contexts to say exactly what race is meant. Negro, by the way, is a perfectly polite word. (I also use “black” when contexts aren’t such as to leave an opening for the Marxist race-deniers to deliberately cause confusion.) 6

Quite amazing, and I admire the Chinese students for protecting their women. I wish we had that much commonsense. However, I suspect that the natural conformism of the Chinese aids to that end, while our individualism tends to the opposite. 11
Posted by Phil Peterson on April 15, 2005, 02:06 PM | # I suspect that the natural conformism of the Chinese aids to that end, while our individualism tends to the opposite. I dunno to be honest. A hundred years ago when we would have done the same thing, we were every bit as individualistic as we are now - I would actually go to the extent of saying that we were more individualistic than we are now because the English and certainly Americans had a real conception of liberty. What we have today is not a conception of “liberty” - the idea of self-rule as something heroic but a hedonoistic narcissistic libertinism in which anything goes and anyone who disagrees with the idea that anything ought to be permissable is a “bigot”. It is the idea that anything goes (and that opposition to it is “bigotry”) that causes race-mixing. 12

Posted by Phil Peterson on April 16, 2005, 03:20 AM | # Seelow, That is very useful. Thanks. This brings to mind certain amazing stupidities that are caused by modern pieties. Like the elites in the west, the Chinese elites brought in these negroes as government policy even though the Chinese population wanted none of them there. While westerners have become far too soft to engage in riots, the analogy is that the populations do not want black Africans imported by the thousands while our elites….. The difference is that the Chinese were willing to let tanks roll over them to put a stop to this nonsense. We on the other hand (for all our vaunted freedoms of association, speech and self government), with beer in one hand and the TV remote in the other dont bother to even vote properly to rectify things. What does that say about us? 15
Posted by Xiao on June 30, 2006, 03:34 AM | # Let me start to say this is all completly incorrect. I as a chinese man knows that my country has done wrong to itself, but that gives no right to the racism in these comments. You may want to here me or not, but it really matters if the mind hears not just the ears. When I went to China their were no such or even most of the things your talking about. The people of China wanted to become an American, want only to have a better life from the scum they live in. Hating that? You hate that we are merely trying to survive, that we want to live in peace with our families. Now i won’t say that the world China was is the greatest because in all truth no country nor person is in truth good witthout evil.[Yibg and Yang]But you see whoever fired the bullet of racism first it doesn’t matter. This is because racism is always thticker then blood and the hatred produced runs deep. Real deep. It is like a flower that has just sent seeds of it’s decete, growing underground until it hatches from the earth and blooms which spreads more flowers of hate and decete. So I’m not only asking as a Chinese man or as an American, I’m asking as a human being as to you which are human beings. Racism tears threw all as a shield of hatred. It roams never satisfied, never full, never complete and always thirsty. So why follow a hate, a beast that only knows to tear and destroy and that can never be quenched? Why? 16
Posted by Desmond Jones on July 01, 2006, 12:05 AM | # Why? It is because racism (race realism) is good. It recognizes that it is normal for an ethnic group or race to want to survive and to avoid displacement by others. It recognizes that mass immigration is ethnic competition over territory and that it negatively impacts reproductive fitness. It realizes that ...territory ensures survival, and human history is largely a record of groups expanding and contracting, conquering or being conquered, migrating or being displaced by migrants. The loss of territory, whether by military defeat or displacement by aliens, brings ethnic diminishment or destruction—precisely what is happening in the “multicultural” West today. It is YOU, who must realize that WE are merely trying to survive, that we want to live in peace with our families in OUR homelands without the threat of diminishment or destruction. 17
Posted by GermWarr on July 01, 2006, 02:42 PM | # That Xiao don’t sound Chinese to me. I have never met a Chinese that speaks with that many metaphors, in Chinese or in English. On the topic of is Chinese racist? Of course we are, and proud of it. For the most part, we despite all other race sometimes include fellow East Asians. The only exception is of course white, the whiter the better. Why? Simple. The old Chinese adage “one white covers hundred ugly” means we can accept white as being beautiful and therefore human. The technological achievement demonstrated by the white people in the last 400 years further proves that they are our intellectual equal. Similar brain, similar color, similar sense of morality and values make white stand out among the lesser races Chinese encounter during out naval expedition in the 15th century. Who do we dislike the most, who do you think? The race that most resemble dark haired monkeys on hind legs. Ah, white people, good looking and smart yet so childish and foolish. You don’t even know how to defend yourself. Your country is waist deep in people that bent on assimilate you yet you don’t even fight back. Every time you tried to fight back, liberal media jump in and start spouting these non-senses about universal value such as equality, democracy, human right and why you should accept these outsiders as your family. These things might be true if they accept your values but they don’t. Bla keep assaulting white and Asian but the media cover up the story fearing being labeled. Lat keep popping out babies to gain voting right to kill you slowly, defeat you in your own system. Other sub humans followed their example and keep coming. The only exception is Japanese and East Asian in general. Japanese population in the U.S. drops in the last decade because they are leaving for opportunity at home and to be with their people. This looking like the trend Korean and Chinese will follow once their own country is developed enough. However, this is not enough as it take half a century for a region to be reasonable developed, and some region might never being developed. Yes, I am mumbling, I am at work right now. Final point, racist is good as it allow inferior race to die out so the stronger survive. Keeping breeding sub-humans will only destroy the human race. Look at animals, if only the slower Impala breeds, do you think they have any chance outrunning lions or cheetahs? 18

Posted by Fred Scrooby on September 24, 2008, 04:40 PM | # The Vietnamese attitude to these things, according to what my Vietnamese friends told me long ago when I lived in Europe, ran something like, “If a Vietnamese girl marries a Euro she’s considered a whore who has married a member of an inferior race, a sub-human, and she is now considered dirt. If a Vietnamese girl marries a Chinaman (Cholon in Saigon was the overseas Chinese quarter), a Jap, a Korean, or another yellow, she’s even worse than a whore, for marrying someone who’s even more inferior than whites, even more of a sub-human than whites.” That’s roughly how it went. Chinese sentiment on such matters was analagous. 22
Posted by Clark Kent on October 26, 2008, 06:44 PM | # Most of the comments on here are absolutely disgusting. I extremely dislike the so called “Vietnamese attitude.” I am Vietnamese and I will make it clear to everyone that it is only a select few who believes in such a way of life. This is to say in a large population of any culture or nation there are a couple of people who believe in dehumanizing others. Don’t believe in any of the comments because there are lots of good people out there and it was unfortunate of those who have met one of those ignorant and hateful people. Racist people are not well educated so just avoid them. You will learn nothing from them. You can test this by asking why they hate a certain race and they will give you a large incoherent reply regarding a historical event. Do some research about the event and you will understand that they know only a small fraction of what happened and the rest stems from their own hate. 23

Posted by C.M. on April 12, 2011, 09:45 AM | # You can figure it out by taking the coalescent age of the haplotypes, the R1a found in northern China is the oldest (about 22.000 years) so by comparing it to the ages of other R1a will make it clear that R1a originates from China. The R1a found in Eastern Europe is 12000 years old, so it took 10000 year to reach Eastern Europe from it point of origin. The same is true of R1b, it probably accompanied R1a bearers to Europe in paleolithic. The oldest R1b is also Chinese. Haplogroup H, the most common haplogroup found in todays European women can also use the same method to find out where it exactly started. Although it’s found primarily in European and Middle Eastern women now, it originates from Central Asia, it’s very old 40000 years while those in middle east is about 20000 years old, it shows that around 40000 years ago there were already modern humans like us.
