I suppose, according to the logic I’ve often had used against me by antis, Europeans (Anglo-Saxons in particular) are superior to the Japanese, and Japan would be better off filled with non-Japanese (particularly Anglo-Saxons and other Europeans). I disagree with the methodology of the study. Americans in Japan are 48,000 residents and 704,000 visitors. The population number used for the crime rate is 752,000. It should be 48,000, because most visitors are short term. Tourists rarely stay more than a couple of weeks.
Using 166/48000 yields .345 for Americans which is close enough to the Japanese average.
