Yes a great step forward for the BNP. I had hoped they would win a few more but given how far they have to go, any number of seats seems inadequate.

Very gratifying results. The Cross of St George reference is,however, more suited to an ENP than a BNP. The Union Flag will do nicely,thanks.

It’s a very good result for them; I was cheering madly from this side of the pond.  The greatest need for the next stage of growth however is to convince the British voting public that the BNP is “respectable” (all Brits live and die by this concept, whatever Geoff may say, even when they’re too young and hip ever to use it.) If the BNP can continue encouraging the liberal elite to demonize them, while at the same time convincing the electorate that the elite are being their usual unreasonable PC selves in doing so, that would be ideal. Thus the denials of being racist aren’t a wimp-out, they’re sensible tactics.

The BNP still hasn’t convinced the small but influential group of Cameron-hating Old Tory journalists, who mostly this time cheered for UKIP (silly people.)

Griffin’s tactics—no thugs, no Jew-baiting—are absolutely correct here. The reality is that even if the Jews were an evil world-threatening conspiracy, their British wing wouldn’t be all that significant; the practical policies that need to be changed were invented mostly by gentiles, and are enforced by gentiles. Anti-semitism and overt racial antagonism (gruesome description of and reveling in rape cases, for example) however cathartic they may be to the simple minded are just asking for trouble and should be avoided, if JJR can be deterred from providing them himself.

Still, a good result. Better, too in that the local Tory winners are very often proper Tories, and not Cameronian trendies. Plus the People Against Bureaucracy candidate, who regards the Tories as dripping wet on public spending, won Pittville ward, Cheltenham.

Here is UKIP glorying in its “breakthrough” on Thursday - a single seat on Hartlepool council, God help them.

In the small hours of yesterday morning Nick Griffin had a very tough interview with a well-prepared and totally hostile Richard Dimbleby, backed up by a studio filled with hateful chortlers of other political persuasions.  Griffin didn’t do well, particularly on his economic policies, which do not make sense.

I can’t find the link now.  It was on Nick Robinson’s blog, but has gone off the page.

Economics is the achilles heel for Griffin, and he will be slaughtered regularly unless he gets real.

I’m pleased with the result, it’s raised the profile of the BNP . But it’s just the beginning - Liberals aren’t democrats.
Griffin did well in the interview with the very hostile liberal, but I do think the party should voice the postive points about the world economy. It is after all not such a big deal.

Personally, my heart sinks when I hear BNP interviewees insist to the BBC that the issues are not about race.  I yearn for them to round on their persecutors and demand the evidence that our people share the liberal elites’ love of racial diversity.  But I have to remind myself that they are not yet far enough advanced on the Great Climb.  One day, perhaps.

Of course, if they do continue to climb they might just progressively jettison all the principles that built the BNP platform.

Once reaching the top they might be featherweights like the current parties which hold power.

Maybe we are in a different era now?

All this speculation would be more meaningful were it not for the BNP is most likely fully infiltrated with state assets and run by MI5 and Special Branch.

You must mean stuff like this:

A MAN whose head was sliced open with a machete by a racist mob as he tried to protect two young women has been left paralysed down one side.

John Payne, 33, a construction superviser for South Quay-based company Construction Resources Ltd, and two friends were viciously set upon by a gang of Asian youths wielding machetes and metal bars in Stepney on April 8. At around 11.30 pm that night, John was walking two young female friends home after an evening out. Det Con McCullogh of Tower Hamlets police said that a gang of between six and nine Asian youths, aged between 16 and 20, were waiting in the car park. They shouted racist insults at John and his friends, who told them to be quiet. They were then set upon by the gang, which swelled to a mob of 20 as other Asian youths rushed to join in the beating.

Despite John and Denny’s attempts to protect her, Jenny was repeatedly punched and kicked, and struck on the head with a metal pole.

Denny and John were both hacked around the head with machetes, leaving John with a deep wound.

If this had happened in a foreign country, the Foreign Office would be issuing travel advisories and warning Britons to stay away. Yet it happens to us in our capital city and there is silence.

Comparisons between this and Basil Fawlty’s “dont mention the war” are compelling and, as usual, JJR as Manuel isnt paying attention.

David Dimbleby interviewed Nick Griffin. His father, Richard, died in 1965. His brother, Jonathan, ‘died’ today—at least the show of the same name on ITV1 did, having its last transmission.

Nick’s popularity coincides nicely with his denunciation of “anti-Semitism.”  Mere correlation or causation?  The latter, of course.

Same thing happened for Jared Taylor.  The very week that he came out with his “Jews are wonderful” speech, my ISP’s filter delisted his www.amren.com site as a hate site.

I think these types of story actually help to open peoples minds to accepting anti-multi-cultural arguments.  Why else does the media play up the more horrific white-on-black/brown crime stories while playing down the more horrific black/brown-on-white crime stories.

Tottenham Lad is right, I think.  Consider that the first Charlene Downes post is still attracting comments, some from Blackpool folk who have obviously googled for information on Charlene and only really come upon us.

When the MSM will not report a story like Charlene’s we have a choice.  Either we give it an airing or we allow the burial policy to proceed as intended.  It is, of course, no choice at all.
