At the least, Dr. Ignatiev intends cultural and psychological genocide for whites. . .
Where did he get this view? His only education was at Harvard where he received two graduate degrees.

Ignatiev is a Jew.

His “Race Traitor” magazine and “Abolition of Whiteness” program is also funded by other Jews, a fact Roberts does not report, and perhaps, did not know:

Indeed, the Bradley Foundation has been a major source of funding for the largely Jewish neoconservative movement and for pro-Israel think tanks such as the Center for Security Policy.67

Ignatiev is very cagey in public interviews about his Chosen status, since he rightly anticipates it will detract from his message - the abolition of the White Race - making it look less like an altruistic act on the part of a White and more an open act of race war, which it is. “Race Traitor” began publishing in 1992, yet Ignatiev’s own ancestry was not publicly revealed until 2002. Wintermute, I don’t think your argument works well at all in the case of Ignatiev. His website is currently featuring an article which calls for the “abolition of the Jewish caste”.

In other words, the same politics which makes him want to abolish the white race, also leads him to favour abolishing the Jews as well. He sees both groups as socially constructed elites with no morally legitimate existence.

If I were a Jew I would see Ignatiev as a dangerous threat to my ethnic existence. The article featured on his website concludes with the following rejection of Israel:

“Any claim by the current members of the Jewish caste to nationhood, and thus to self-determination, must be rejected.

“Palestinians, whether they are Arabic or Hebrew speakers, are members of one, indivisible nation. All attempts to partition or repartition the country and the nation in the name of the two “peoples” must be rejected as mere modifications in the terms of an apartheid system.

“Only the abolition of the Jewish caste can prevent the continuation of the ongoing race war in Palestine by building a society free of race and caste.”

What we have to try to understand is why an intellectual like Ignatiev would become so hostile to the existence of his own tribe.

There are two parts to the answer, I believe. The first is that liberals believe the individual must be self-authored. Race seems too much to be an inherited “biological destiny” to the liberal mind. Hence the fervent wish that race be made not to count - which explains Ignatiev’s insistence that race is not a really existing biological fact, but a mere social construct which can be deconstructed.

The second part of the answer is the peculiar left-liberal belief that individual wills must be equalised.

When left-liberals see a dominant group they assume that this group have gotten together to assert a “will to power” over some oppressed group.

Hence, men don’t play a leading role as a natural part of their masculinity, but because of a patriarchal conspiracy to oppress women. Anglo-Americans aren’t dominant in virtue of history or numbers or culture, but because of an artificial and unjust will to power over ethnic minorities.

This left-liberal view is actually lethal to the cause of Israel, because it leads leftists to assume that because Jews are dominant within Israel, that they are enforcing an “inequality of will”, and are therefore illegitimate oppressors.

Ignatiev deserves most of all to be seen as a consistent but unsubtle liberal, who is no friend to either Jews or gentiles.

Steve Sailer has taken down this guy before. He just views him as a poser and hustler.

His views are the logical consequence of the liberal uber-Principle of equality.  The white race (or western Europeans) are dominant; therefore they are an obstacle to equality; therefore, they must go, thereby initiating the Millennium.

In seeking to replace a Jewish state by ‘Palestine’, Ignatiev seeks to revive a political entity which only ever existed as a possession of the Ottoman Empire.

He is an extreme blank-slater and self-remaker, yet his insistence on the identification of Hebrew- with Arab-speakers can only be justified by a shared ‘semitic’ genealogy—certainly not by a shared culture producing natural sympathy on the political level!

Strange are the ways of secular Jews, indeed; and strange the byways down which their terrified avoidance of biological facts leads them. As a caricature of the type, Ignatiev (as Guessed suggests) is worthy of preservation at the Smithsonian.

I wonder if there is any other example in history in which an elite of an existing culture actively organized studies, institutions, programs, ideologies, etc., designed for the sole purpose of the destruction of their own culture.  I’m thinking here not only of Ignatiev, but of Harvard itself.

Heretics usually don’t wish to destroy the culture in which they swim; they usually believe they have the “true” vision and want to purify or save the culture, not destroy it.

Ignatiev’s publication included an article (by another author) supporting legal equality for Jews and Palestinians in Palestine.  That’s hardly the same as a desire to “abolish the Jews”.

Ignatiev’s ostensible opposition to Jewish interests is probably a self-deceptive smokescreen designed to provide his audience (and more importantly, himself) with a consistent ideology.  Jewish identity and organized Jewry’s power are alive and thriving; White identity and power are practically nonexistent.  Will the former or the latter suffer more under Ignatiev’s ministrations?

Teh desire to see some kind of Jewish conspoiracy here is laughable. It is almost a parody of anti-semitic porpoganda.
So there is a Jewish conspiracy so powerful that anti-ISrael and anti-Jewish ethnic-Jews are in on it?

Ont eh other hand, the non-conspiratorialists still seem to blame all Jews based on MacDonald’s all encompasing paranoia repackaged as gene theory.

Ignatiev and Soros wish to destory Judaism, Jewish particularism, and Israel in the name of communism or Trans-national socialism.
