That is the sort of crackpot story that reassures the true believer all is well in the Empire. Yet, for those of us that wish to rid ourselves of the Washington Tyranny such pronouncements may serve as an augury. Enmity towards the Cultural Left, and Mexicans and other third-worlders ought to rank below that felt towards the Washington Tyranny. The minorites are simply the muscle, not the brains behind the effort. So, I ask, would you be willing to sacrifice Northern California to the Left or the Southwest to the Mexicans to gain independence from Washington? I would. (And just let anyone dare to question it, and Bush will be right there alongside the Marxists calling him a “racist.”) Notice, by the way, how U.S. whites aren’t the only ones slated to get shafted in the Bush/Rove race-replacement scheme: if all goes as planned, U.S. Negroes will dwindle to half their current percentage of the population. One of the most tightly-guarded secrets of the race-replacers is that American Negroes detest what’s going on and happen to loathe Mexicans, but haven’t the political savvy or the $$$ to make their staunch opposition to the Mexicanizing of the U.S. known to the political class. You may perhaps be aware that Peter Brimelow’s landmark 1992 article in NR, “Time To Rethink Immigration?” contained the following passage:- The demographer Leon Bouvier has projected that by 2020 ?that is, easily within the lifetimes of many National Review readers? the proportion of whites could fall as low as 61 per cent. Among children under 15, minorities could be approaching the point of becoming the majority. I see that you project a 2020 figure for whites of 57.6%. That lights a demographic fuse under my frequent assertion on this blog that advanced liberalism must disintegrate in the same way that Soviet communism disintegrated - and probably on a similar timescale. It is, after all, anti-Conservative and takes heed only to crush the forces it disdains, never to recognise their reality. If, then, one allows AL a lifespan of seven decades and date that - not too specifically - from the postwar years we are in the range of 2015 to 2225. We have two decades to speed the process and prepare the ground for renewal. 6
Posted by anon on June 11, 2005, 10:56 PM | # Guessedworker, the problem with my projections is that they assume that the 2000 - 2004 growth rate will reoccur every four years. This is unrealistic because as the number of people grows, the growth rate can be expected to slow. If the U.S. had, say, 150 million Hispanics, my faulty projections tell you that four years from then, 25.5 million more Hispanics would be added to the population. Agreed. I’m getting impatient. I’m afraid that when the time comes, we will be called upon to perform tasks in defence of this country & our people unimaginable to men of the previous few generations.
