Kevin MacDonald Update

Since John Ray foisted the subject of Jews unto us….

The clearest thinker I’ve encountered on this subject has published a new monongraph entitled Understanding Jewish Influence: A Study in Ethnic Activism (scroll down)

, by Kevin MacDonald, and which includes a foreward by the late Samuel Francis.

Also, the incomparable Steve Sailer skewers the fuzzy thinking of the animal house conservative, Jonah Goldberg. Is Mr. Goldberg a devotee of Mr. MacDonald’s theory? Permalink is here.

One day, Effra said he had no intention of continuing to post comments here as long as John Ray was free to needle people in his inimitable way—that’s not how Effra phrased it but I don’t recall his exact words (I hope I’m not misrepresenting him here).  For the record, by the way, although John Ray irritates the hell out of me for one, he’s obviously a first-rate thinker, one of the best bloggers in the blogosphere, and one of MR.com’s strongest assets in its rôle a normal blog-site (“normal” blog-sites and individuals are those favoring normalness over degenerateness for society, as opposed to degenerate blog-sites and individuals, ones favoring degenerateness over normalness for society).  I found Effra also to be a first-rate thinker and commenter and was sorry to see him leave.  I wish he’d overlook JR’s sadistic needling habit and resume his participation in threads here.

About a couple of weeks ago, when John was going through one of his “joking” Liberal moods, the ones we all find so side-splittingly funny, I do believe Effra stated he was having trouble coming to this site with the antics of John, his baiting, and his overly Liberal views.  I do not remember the entry he made this comment on, however I do believe it was the same one that I made a plea to GW to curtail this type of behaviour for fear of alienating some people and driving others away.  Effra may be one of those casualities.

Kub,

Effra quite suddenly grew alarmingly religious in tone and announced that he was unable to abide among us any longer.  Haven’t seen him here since.  Shame because, as you say, he was an asset to our commentary.

In any case I do not want MR to represent a singular or narrow view but to be, as Effra wonderfully said on one occasion, a blog for gentlemen of intelligence to debate ideas.

GW, I never knew that.  I only saw that one last comment he made about John’s antics.  Too bad.  I hate to see good people leave though that is the reality of the situation.
