What works - or sustains over time - in Sub-Saharan Africa is tribalism, the village, extended family life, subsistence farming, much copulation and drums.  Fortunately, none of this requires Western aid.  Free condoms could be handy, though.

The aid figure is deceptive. One must differentiate predatory World Bank and IMF “loans” from grants/outright transfers. Not much of the aid is the latter.

To the extent that aid siphons through the local governments it makes matters worse. Also, as JJR Apologist says, IMF/World Bank aid is accompanied by so much bad leftist advice it’s worse than useless. And things like curing hunger and malaria, while admirably feelgood, make the problem worse because they increase population.

As well as the many punitive policies which I’m sure MR reders would enjoy devising, the one soppy-liberal one which might do some good is old age pensions for African over-70s.  There aren’t very many of them, and if we can instil in the culture the idea that you don’t need to have 12 children to provide for your old age, we’ll have done some real good.

Well, this “reder” is not going to “enjoy” devising “punitive policies” - unless you consider no assistance, no immigration, and eventual repatriation “punitive.”

As I do not believe we are under any obligation to assist Africans, and are under no obligation to have them in our nations, this can be hardly “punitive.”

Indeed, the reverse is true: being subjected to Negro extended phenotypes is punitive for everyone else.

True, they make wonderful water receptacles, tourniquets, change purses, etc.

The model through which western aid to Africa can be most effective has been tried and jettisoned (colonialism).  Only white paternalism would work, but it is now impossible and, in any case, a fool’s errand.

Huh?  Just wtf is that supposed to mean?  Talk about missing the point (as in, WHOOOOOSH!-style missing the point).

The only period in their entire history where they had some semblence of prosperity was under White Control. That’s also because we feed them and their populations grow, and grow, and grow… just wait till the oil runs out and their are not more food handouts. Uh-oh! Bye-bye Africa.
