The main thing wrong with Miss Iceland and Miss Russia is they have boy’s bodies instead of women’s (Miss Russia is a tiny bit better than Miss Iceland in that regard, the latter looking like a twelve-year-old girl, not a woman).  Can’t they be a bit more buxom?  Is the unisex look—the total absence of evidence of female hormones—now de rigeur in the beauty world?  Have the homos taken over to that extent?  (They used to just do the hairdos, if memory serves ... Now it seems they pick the winners!)  (From the photo you can’t tell what Miss Oz is like in that regard though she does clearly have a lovely face, prettier than Miss Iceland’s, I agree with John that much at least.)

One of the best things about Icelanders, of course, is on display here—the way they’ve kept their tradition of giving their daughters last names having the form “so-and-so’s-daughter,” “so-and-so” being their father (specifically, his first name).  In this way a sister actually ends up with a last name different from her brother, hers ending in “dottir” and his in “son.”  This particular girl’s last name is Williamsdaughter while her brother’s, if she has one, is Williamson.  I certainly hope the Icelanders never let themselves get talked out of retaining that age-old custom by leftist slimeballs and other sorts of low, repulsive creeps who are jealous of the rich tradition they’ve managed to keep down to the present day.

I have a weakness for tall and slim (though not starved) girls, so I disagree with you on that one. The girls in these pictures are better proportioned (and better fed!) than the starved fashion models we have often talked about.

Actually I think Miss Botswana is quite sweet, leg proportions and all. Certainly got more going on than Miss Mongolia who is really actually a boy isnt s/he.

I believe that the Miss World pageant has the biggest global TV audience of any event in the World, reaching into billions and is shown literally in every corner of the globe - apart from the Islamic fundamentallist states.
  But oh, I forget, it’s impossible to see the pageant on UK television, either satellite or terrestial (despite UK TV being packed with more utter, complete bollocks than any other system in the World - despite the British boast of having ‘the best television in the World’).
The pageant shown on prime-time Tv would certainly be a massive ratings winner, which I beieve TV is all about, rather than the staple BBC Saturday night fixture of micro-celebrities, who no-one knows or cares about, dicking about in all sorts of weird and wonderful ‘reality’ formats.
  The reason, hardcore, unattractive middle-aged women of doubtful sexuality but definite penis-envy, who run the higher echelons of the accursed BBC.

Franjieh is “Franks” or “Foreign” (from Crusaders in Arabic)-has nothing to do with Egyptians- fools! Franjieh is very prominent family in Lebanon.

She’s most likely to have a distant relative in southern France or Italy not Egypt, and no it doesn’t make any sense “Scrooby”.

I’ve been to Mount Lebanon, it’s like southern Europe in weather and poeple. Its astonishing what beauties there are as well

Sorry for my mistake, Karl — but you have to admit Miss Franjieh looks like King Tut, no?  Look carefully at the two faces.  Maybe some features seen in Egyptian royalty of three-and-a-half thousand years ago are still floating around in some of today’s Levantines?

lamita is nice but u guys should admit it she looks normal . jihan is right! Thaly boustros can make a big effect in miss universe or world. shes educated an ex victoria secret top model and most of all a real beauty whose got intelligence.

I do not againt the author of this topic said Miss australia is prettier than the first one. from the caucasian guy’s point of view. he finds the Miss Iceland looked lean and lesser projection details on her face than Miss Australia. so the same oriental guys find Miss australian looks too harsh like male. her big structure, and the thick nose cooperating large shoulders. here males find she looks masculine like male.
I say this because in my country almost second type of women. after they pass plastic surgery to be women. how they looked always similar to european women.
such as the large thin lips like julia robert, narrow long chin, and high nose bridge like european women also without cheeks. you will never see the gays whom passed sex change surgery, whom have the tiny rounded face with soft small nose and small shoulders like you could find in asian women. contrary thee guys whom passed sex change surgery always look like caucasoid women like Miss U.S.A and Mis Sweden etc.  but for me the chinese women and Icelandic women are not pretty throught. I think the french women and Pakistani women are the most pretty, and have gracil face. not too pale like scandinavian also not too harsh like latin.

Glad I born to be asian. so don’t have to look buxum like the sex change surgery gay. who always look like the miss australian and miss Icelandic. (caucasian women)  my fiance even said his Blond ex-wife was very stink, has a hair on the legs but always wax. oiled skin and has a big nose like a witch! but why on this websit seem to not criticise about caucasian women have a problem about hairy? big sack chest? stink and big nose?  untill the plastic surgery is bloom a lot in U.S.A and UK.

This far east asian actresses below do not fit your theory of beauty proportion. even I do not think they are pretty because I like people whom have big rounded eyes and beautiful eyelid. not the slant eyes. but even that I SURE the asian actresses below are look more nicer in overall and charming than the european women pictures of jonjayray.

I cann’t find the different between Miss world 2006 ( woman)  and Miss gay queen ( the sex change surgery gay) both of them look the same with makeup and every details.
