This is a brilliant start and it’s a shame Bryon Jost can’t finish it. Maybe someone else can piece it together and release it in his memory. The academics interviewed are the leading authorities on the subject of how political correctness has taken over the lives of European Americans and Canadians and turned the majority into racial self-abnegators. The Frankfurt School leaders learned to fine tune their social engineering working for the OSS in occupied Germany after the war. Naumann, Adorno Horkheimer and Marcuse were there running the Nuremberg trials and de-nazifying the culture. When they returned to the US they set their sights on putting their Gramiscian Marxist agenda over on Americans. By all appearances they succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. Jews no longer need worry about anti-Semitism because there are no European American experts on anything left in this culture. If there are nobody listens to them.

I couldn’t but notice that BEHAVIOURISM is seen as part of the PC mix.

GW has suggested that a profession of religious faith is merely a “behaviour”.

It is permissable to turn the enemy’s weapons against himself so that he falls self-wounded, and whereas it’s perfectly just to say to him (with, in this context, a fine irony)  “The expression of your doctrines is merely a behaviour so I can ignore it as ultimately meaningless”, it is totally unjust to use this weapon against your allies, accusing them of exhibiting a “behaviour” when they assert allegiance to a Christian doctrine.

This seems to show that sections of the New Right find the doctrine of Political Correctness, which they ostensibly despise, palatable, and, in some situations, a useful servant: and it demonstrates, I submit, a good example of an ideological self-contradiction.

Another ingredient in the mix is the redefinition of wrong behaviour.

I transcribe: “Deviance has been redefined. What used to be a sin is now virtue . . .”

This phrase from Nietzsche is then quoted, “the transvaluation of values”.

The speaker clearly reprobates the reversal that Nietzsche called for: perhaps the mad immoralist should now be dropped from MR’s array of tutelary deities.

Gorboduc: the most common misconception concerning Nietzsche is missing the point that he told people simply to ‘think’, not what to think,
His transvaluation of values did not imply good into evil, but a re-evaluaation of values. In German ‘Umwertung aller Werte’ the nuance is clearer…but in English it is totally lost…perhaps purposely.
Nietzsche as a philosopher was different than contemporary English style philosopher as moralist….Nietzsche was a philosopher as artist…as well as artist as moralist. Similiar, Shakespeare was a philosopher as Dramatist. And like Shakespeare, he was a Naturalist in the Attik sense…in that all natural things were proper. but the artificial must meet strict and endless scrutiny…. not slavish acceptance.
All his work is formed in this way,  this was the code. The work is purposely meant to perplex and enrage his enemies. He gives his detractors exactly what they think they needed to undo him, and allow they themselves to demonstrate they are his inferiors in understanding.
To cite Nietzsche positivistically, is to confess one does not understand him. Again, Nietzsche’s work is to get you to think, not what to think. To say Nietzsche says this so one should do this…...is an absolute inversion of his theme. To cite Nietzsche negativistically, to pierce cant,  fallacy and sheeplike conformism, is closer to his truth.
His works are misunderstood as didacticism’s, not the ‘Nouvelle Romans’ he himself terms them….yet people see what they want to see, not what is written. This is not uncommon in our age.

I wish you wouldn’t complain of the materialistic ignorance and threepenny rationalism that goes on here. Obviously you have a much deeper and richer perception of the shadowplay of this age. I started reading this blog because I read your posts and I could see immediately that here was a rare being - a truly European soul. Your frustration is because you are called upon to throw pearls among swine, who would prefer the half bucket of talmudic offal they have come to scientifically expect. I tell you your frustration may be because you defer to bear the cross as you must. Nietzsche’s boldness, humour and disdain of stupidity is instructive here. Of course he was driven mad by pessimism regarding the extent of the stupidity of European modernism.. To martyr one’s self for paganism seems ironic…. but in a sense it was the image of the purest poetic, la sagesse de la justice. In a sense, Nietzsche’s last gesture, the wisest man of Europe, to die in the mind syphilitic, in horror at the common cruelty of a carter to a draft horse ... was this not one last reproach to the Christian?
Why must we expect less of Gorboduc?

The points he made and that I picked up on, re Behaviourism and Nietzsche, come from a Catholic perspective!

When are you MR guys going to wake up and realise that a serious study of traditional Catholicism would enable our case for racial survival to be presented with more philosophical consistency?

You are obsessed with paying homage to Darwin, Nietzsche, Heidegger and Dawkins: it’s their approach to science and to the definition of human nature that’s brought you to this sorry pass!

Hence CC’s despairing cry of “Hang them!” over on that other thread. . . he’s got it off his chest, but it’s not closing any borders, is it?

So where is the empirical data on authoritarianism? From the Handbook of Individual Differences in Social Behavior, edited by Mark R. Leary & Rick H. Hoyle, 2009: In the concluding paragraph on Right-Wing Authoritarianism, “Another set of changes has come more recently. This has involved challenging the conception of authoritarianism as personality, be it one dimension or two. The new approaches see the two dimensions of authoritarianism, Right-Wing Authoritarianism and social dominance orientation, not as personality dimensions but rather as two distinct social-attitudinal dimensions expressing two sets of motivationally based social values. These newer theories focus on trying to clarify the values that lie at the core of Right-Wing Authoritarianism, the ways social-environmental factors influence Right-Wing Authoritarianism and social dominance orientation on their own or in conjunction with personality, and how and why Right-Wing Authoritarianism and social dominance orientation influence and have their effects on social, political, and intergroup attitudes and reactions.”

In short, it is time to start over in trying to identify authoritarianism—and especially who is and is not so afflicted.

Byron was a very dear friend of mine. He was quite fascinated with Cambodia for some reason. He wanted to go with me to Cambodia over Christmas and New Year’s but I already had other plans, so he went to Scotland to visit a friend instead. Byron was very depressed when he was staying with me in Moscow before leaving for Cambodia. He often talked of suicide when he was drunk. I tried to convince him to stay in Moscow and find a teaching job here. He had many friends here and liked Moscow. But he was really intent on exploring Southeast Asia. He was planning to maybe come back to Moscow in September to start working here.

He died of a heroin overdose. The guy who runs the Cambodian expat forum told me. This guy also owns a bar (“Garage”) in Phnom Penh with an apartment above it. Byron was renting the apartment. He died alone in his locked room.

We had a Byron Jost memorial dinner here in Moscow on April 17.

I watched all the footage of Byron’s unfinished documentary when I stayed with him in Salt Lake City in 2008. It was great stuff, and I kept pressuring him to finish the documentary. Unfortunately he had lost interest in it and did not want to finish it. From what he showed me, the first two parts were completely finished. It has already been arranged with some people (from Voice of Reason) that the almost completed documentary will be released on DVD soon. It should run approximately three hours.

Which side was HE on in the Culture Wars? What caused him to lose heart?

I didn’t say to hang them, that was the usually more reserved Armor.  However, if he is willing to supply the rope…just kidding. 

Btw, E. Michael Jones is not a racialist and is hostile to White racial separation - at least for White Catholics in the instance of their separation from non-White Catholics.  He thinks “Whiteness” is socially constructed.  How one ‘socially constructs’ the results of DNA tests is a mystery the answer to which is beyond the confines of my limited intellect.

He went to Cambodia for a sex vacation, and someone was there that knew who he was and found it VERY easy to off him.

I read a statement by the guy that rented him a room. It sounds like this guy was into sex and booze, not heroin. Casual heroin users are typically smoking. It is rather hard to OD smoking heroin.  You pass out before you OD.

The problem is, here in the “Kwa”,  the Catholic Church is SUPPORTING more immigration.

I have no problem with Catholicism as a “binder” of a people, but when they’re supporting the invasion, what to do?

I’ve visited a local SSPX community, and they have a summer-school program.  It’s majority Mexican and Asian, minority White.  What to do?

When the Catholic Church starts getting “racial”, and will protect the White people in White countries from invasion by taking a stand,  I’ll be in line to join them.

E. M. Jones is great, theory-wise, but he’s still on that thing about “saving souls” which equates all the bodies that contain those souls as interchangeable.  That won’t work for me.  Yes, God loves all his Children, and I do hope all people do well in this world and “the next” ... but in this world, Mexicans invading California, aided and abetted by the Church just doesn’t cut it.

CvH,  I spoke with Byron many times on Skype while he lived in Siberia (generally, according to him).  I tried to get him to hang out in Yunnan Province in China, as a better place that Cambodia. 

I still don’t understand why he wanted to go to Cambodia ... crazy burr under his saddle or something.  He could have done will in Kunming, teaching English.  Very civilized place ... even has an Italian restaurant.

Damn it Byron!

Another video needs to be made about the post WW II flood of European Jews into US academia using questionable credentials.  It only took 15 years for that to produce “the 60s campus radical”.

We should expect an analogous phenomenon based on the flood of India’s “technical elite” possessing equally questionable credentials.  However, I suspect this will take the form of GNXP-like distortion of bioinformatics rather than Frankfurt-like distortion of social science data.

What do you mean by “GNXP-like distortion of bioinformatics?”

I used to casually read GNXP in the past, but I don’t have the scientific knowledge so I never could really parse the nitty gritty science on the site.

What kind of distortions have there been there, and what kind of distortions can we expect in the near future as a result of all these subcons flooding our high-tech fields with dodgy credentials from “institutions” in India that would barely qualify as vocational schools in the US?

Be careful, that was vocational schools in the U.S. in the old days, when things were run by whites, for whites and for any mystery meat that could keep up with whites, minus all the incompetent affirmative action mystery meat things are run by and for today.  Today when mystery meat can’t pass the exam, he’s excused and passes anyway because “the notion of correct answers in arithmetic is racist” so the mystery meat gets to not only pass, but gets leap-frogged over all the more-qualified whites as punishment for 1) white society being so racist as to expect mystery meat to give correct answers in arithmetic when everybody knows it’s racist to think there are correct answers in arithmetic, and for 2) centuries of white institutional racism.  Today’s U.S. vocational schools which are run by-and-for-mystery-meat are lower than, basically, kindergartens are in any still-white country (meaning the former communist-bloc countries of Eastern Europe, the only white countries left under the current Jewish/communist hegemony).  An Eastern European Euro child who graduates from kindergarten knows more than the mystery meat that “graduates” from today’s U.S. vocational schools.

Sydney, the most glaring example is the way ethnic genetic interests have been played down over at GNXP.  One item that particularly sticks in my craw is the reductio ad absurdum of group genetic interests on the grounds that it is essentially the same as cloning as a way of advancing genetic interests because of its denial of sex.  This is directed at the most individualistic group in the world from one of the most group-oriented groups in the world—a group that was able to reduce their fully-sexual, joy-seeking and individualistic Indo-European elites and to an obsession to “blow out the candle”, ie: snuff it, as the highest form of spiritual development.

I get the part of your comment about GNXP downplaying EGI.  This is the impression I’ve gotten from that site as well.

The idea is that the ego is the flame of a candle and that by extinguishing the ego, one attains spiritual perfection.  In the extreme, this means extinguishing life itself because “life is suffering”.

Well, I can imagine how a bunch of germanics might have come to think that life is suffering after invading the Dravidians and attempting to get them to reflect on the significance of male individual sovereignty in choosing who will die in individual combat and female individual sovereignty in choosing who will be propagated.  You end up with Vishnu and Shiva as supernatural surrogates for real sexual being with the consequent loss of the joy of living.

Wasn’t the Buddha, the originator of the concept of “nirvana,” a prince of noble Aryan background?  And weren’t gods like Vishnu and Shiva of Aryan origin?  You seem to indicate here that these gods are the product of Dravidian influence.

I thought that this was the standard narrative of the subcontinent that most people held more or less, that subcon religion and culture is largely the product of ancient Aryan influence.  Aryan invasion, dominance, and imposition of culture and religion upon Dravidians.  Is this mistaken?  Are you suggesting that subcon religion and culture is in fact Dravidian, rather than Aryan?

What I’m positing is that nirvana is an Aryan reaction to their loss of life’s meaning, and Vishnu and Shiva are Dravidian distortions of Aryan cultural orientation toward natural sexual being—distortion rendering the natural, instead, “supernatural”.  The function of this is common to virtually all civilizations—neuter individual men for their place in a group-oriented culture.

James, I’m not sure I follow here.  How or why would Aryans come to think that life is suffering after taking over the subcontinent and trying to get Dravidians to think about individual sovereignties?  By what process would this occur?

In the first place, how do we even know for sure that the Aryans that went southeast into the subcontinent had the same views regarding individual sovereignty as the Aryans that went northwest into Europe?

And I would think that the Dravidian stench alone would be enough to get an Aryan to want to extinguish his life and reach nirvana.

The period of time between the “invasion” of the Aryans and Buddah’s total renunciation of life’s meaning was about a millennium.  That is the minimum potential biological evolutionary time for humans (meaning significant biological adaptation from sustained selection pressure) if we are to believe E. O. Wilson.  What I suspect this biological evolution looked like is as follows:

1) The expansion of the ecological range, into the subcontinent, of lactose tolerance brought with it the culture of individual sovereignty or what I call natural sexual being.

2) The ordinary way for natural sexual being to expand an ecological range is for men to engage in single combat over resources such as land.  Since women don’t generally choose to propagate cowards (or the dead), this resulted in some early race mixing.

3) At some point, probably fairly early on, this expansion of the ecological range of individualism was met by gang resistance arising from the more “civil” genotype of the Dravidian (or whoever it was that occupied the ecological range in evolutionary play).  However, this individualism was already genetically bogged down.

4) What happens next is a memetic adaptation:  The caste system that has lost its original selective pressures of individual choices of death and propagation by inhibiting intercaste combat and promoting arranged marriages.  History is replete with demonstrations that segregation doesn’t work, which leads us finally to:

5) An effete elite, exemplified by Siddh?rtha Gautama and the loss of life’s meaning.

My main justification for presuming cultural similarity between western and eastern branches of the Aryans when it comes to individual female choice in reproduction and individual male choice in combat is simply imputation of missing data from existing data.

If Buddhism and “nirvana” were such natural outgrowths as you suggest, then why did it not really take in the subcontinent?  It never really caught on in the subcontinent.  Why was it so successful in East Asia but not in the subcontinent?

I suspect that is due to East Asians having more key characteristics in common with Aryans than do Dravidians so their reaction to loss of natural sexuality has more similarities.  Having said that, there are some similarities with the Buddhist ideal of undoing one’s life (ridding one’s self of both positive and negative karma) among various sects of Vedic religions.
