Notice there is no mention of race in the article?  Must have been an honest oversight.

Yes no mention of the race of the victim. I think we can, as a rule, assume that the victim was white unless the media says otherwise. Good rule of thumb.

Phil, my guess is the victim is black.  He was living with the girl and her guardian (godmother) apparently.

They seldom release the names of victims and never photos in my experience, so we’ll never know unless someone writes a book or something.

I’m not a fan of individual black crime stories, but this story fits into the exceptional category, particularly heinous crimes.  I think they amount to anecdotal evidence most of the time, but when crimes strain the lower bounds of depravity they can be useful because I think it’s valid to compare those bounds for different races.

I saw this headline last night and smelled a racial angle, so I ran a Google news search and presto!  The first story I loaded had his picture.  Usually it’s far more difficult to get a photo.  Maybe that (and a follow-up to determine how lucky I actually got) can tell us something about the victim’s race?  In my experience, when the perp is black and the victim is white, it takes quite a bit of digging to find photos or confirmation of either fact.

How about this story?  A few points again.  No mention of race, the couple lived together for six years, yet she was still a “girlfriend” and more exact ex-girlfriend with two children together.  Typical of the Negro modus operandi.  Also she looks Whitish, though I cannot tell completely.  She may be and probably is mixed.

The bottom line is when all these anecdotal and “isolated” cases are combined, they present an enormous burden for Blacks and the media to explain away.  So, they hide facts and avoid presenting the cases in an honest and straightforward manner.  In some countries, the police are not allowed to keep statistics based on race.  Uhhhh, WHY NOT is my logical question to such a subversive decision.  Oh because it taints the perception of people against certain minorities is the standard bleating from the left.  LOL Yeah, that makes it so much better.  With that preposterous thinking, maybe we can market a stychnine based, grape colored drink and call it Kool-Aid Lite.  I’m mean, what’s the difference?  Kool-Aid or Kool-Aid Lite, same thirst quenching drink, right?

Well, of course they become useful when you add them all up, but why bother?  That’s what the DoJ site is for.  That story seems like any other domestic murder to me.  The fact that blacks murder at six times the rate of whites, that blacks are 40 times as likely to murder whites as the opposite, these are useful facts.  The fact that this negro killed his white doxy isn’t.

Side note: does anyone else think that 17 year old looks 35?  I was watching the Emmit Till dirge last night on PBS.  Reading between the lines (the words of his own mother and family), it’s easy to see that Till was a 14 year old troublemaker who didn’t know better than to whistle suggestively and leer at a married, adult white woman in the deepest south in the 50s, despite what his mother and his kin told him.

I shudder to think about the silly daughters of the silly whites whose greatest racial concern is opprobrium from fellow silly whites, when they should be worried about their daughters being held in close proximity to negros.  A 12 year old black boy is not the same as a 12 year old white boy.

My thoughts exactly. I figured the newspapers had learned he was in the 11th grade and so concluded he was 17. Maybe Florida doesn’t do social promotion and he has been held back in 11th grade for 18 years.

I understand your point and I think we are saying the same thing, though maybe I didn’t make myself clear.  I am not saying we have to harp at every single Black murderer or criminal, however the incidents MUST be reported in a factual manner.  If they stop doing that, which is happening now, the next step would be to stop reporting them altogether, followed by stopping to even gather data about them.  Then we will have a bunch more “Emmit Tills” preying on a multitude of naive White girls from do-gooder Liberal and Conservative parents.

P.S.  I too thought perp was in his 30’s at first glance of the photo.

Actually it seems that we’re talking past one another.  You seem to be talking about media coverage; I’m talking about crime stats.

The media has gone beyond gross negligence and into deliberate malfeasance regarding racial reality, especially the racial aspects of crime.  Whether that malfeasance is “well-intended” or not is utterly immaterial.

I think this third-party stat-counting by WNs is a lot of heat and little light.  We have the DoJ stats, they paint a clear picture (though the “who is white?” shenanigans tend to obscure, they have their uses too).  They are useful to show not only black criminality, but media malfeasance as well.

If the government stops reporting race-data, that only plays into our hands.

At the very least he assaulted & battered her.  The facts before editing for propaganda purposes, indicate that he sexually assaulted her within the broad definition of the term.  From the DOJ’s National Crime Victimization Survey:

Sexual assault—A wide range of victimizations, separate from rape or attempted rape. Includes attacks or attempted attacks generally involving unwanted sexual contact between victim and offender. Sexual assaults may or may not involve force and include such things as grabbing or fondling. Sexual assault also includes verbal threats.

According to whispers that still haunt the town, Emmett Till attempted to rape Carolyn Bryant, and was interrupted only when another customer entered the store. Till then fled with his pants around his knees.

For what it’s worth, Till’s father had been executed for raping two Italian women and killing a third while in the Army.

The statistics from the U.S. Department of Justice do tell quite a story.  In 1999, for instance, according to U.S. Dept. of Justice statistics, there were about 197,679 black-on-white violent crimes compared to about 8,198 white-on-black violent crimes (single-offender victimizations involving completed, as opposed to mere threatened, violence)—more than 24 times as many.

Even more remarkably there were about 20,003 black-on-white rapes or sexual assaults, while the number of white-on-black rapes or sexual assaults was somewhere between 0 and 33.  Black-on-white rapes or sexual assaults were at least 600 times (if not thousands of times) as common as the reverse.

Thank you very much for that Mr. Tillman, I’ll now read up on the matter as I should have already and drag leftists through the mud over it when I get the chance.

Regarding the black rate of rape, it’s very useful for countering the simplistic leftist idea that economic hardship accounts for the black crime disparity (the fact that the numbers don’t bear out the poverty causes black crime schtick helps too).

What is the economic incentive for rape?  Of course the leftists have more lies to fall back on but that’s how one must proceed, by hacking off each tentacle one by one.

I’ve just reminded myself of my “liberal white supremacism” bit.  Liberal white supremacists (i.e., most white liberals) are guilty of racism against blacks, among others, because they assume that blacks are whites with black skin.

They do this with all non-white races, as is expected of white supremacists.  They will of course all deny this, but their rhetoric betrays them;  liberal white supremacists take white norms (I.Q., wages, testosterone levels, earning power, etc.,) and compare them to those of blacks.  If there is a disparity that can be argued as a negative for blacks, then white racism or black victimhood is argued whenever possible.  Thus, they assume that the universal norm is white and that all non-white groups who fail to measure up are oppressed.

So, they gloss over any problems non-whites might have that don’t fit their preconceptions of non-whites as whites with differently-colored skin.  For example, let’s assume for the purposes of argument that blacks have a significantly higher mean testosterone level than whites and that testosterone level is causatively linked to higher mean rates of violent crime, sexual crime, and violent pathology.  Thus, they are in a sense naturally handicapped at living in a white-normed society.  Do the liberal white supremacists consider this?  No, of course not, in fact to do so is heresy.

They don’t care that much about their black clients, they care about the political power they provide and about continuing that power by telling blacks what they want to hear.

Where are the liberal cries of “blacks can’t help themselves, they’re victims of their own nature?”

About 20 years ago Lake Worth, Florida (where this crime occurred) was a nice town to live in and raise children. I know this firsthand because my grandmother lived there, and our family would visit her on a yearly basis. In fact, my two older brothers liked Lake Worth so much that they eventually moved there. Both of them have recently moved back north, however, due to the influx of minorities into Lake Worth. Lake Worth now has large Hispanic and black populations. As a result, crime rates have skyrocketed, the quality of the schools has declined, etc. (Regarding the schools: do you remember a few years back when a white middle-school teacher was shot and killed on the last day of school by a black student? Well, one of my nephews was attending the school where this occurred. This incident was the catalyst for my brother and sister-in-law deciding to move back north.) In short, the quality of life for the white Lake Worth residents has drastically declined in recent years. For example, my oldest brother had his car (which was parked in front of his house on the side of the road) hit twice in less than a year by drunk Hispanics. In Lake Worth, if you don’t have a driveway or garage in which to park your car, your car has either already been hit or soon will be.
