Newspaper Cartoons Lampooning Jesus Spark Outrage

A pro-family organization is lashing out at a student-run newspaper at the University of Oregon for the publication of two cartoons, one showing Jesus in sexual arousal and the other showing him kissing another man.

Dan Goldman created the cover for the newspaper’s March edition. “I did the one of Jesus with a boner,” he said. Goldman told Cybercast News Service that Johnny Correa created the other “piece of art,” the one portraying Jesus kissing another man. The two cartoons were among 12 overall that were published in the newspaper.

The different ways in which jews and the media handle Christianity and Islam are instructive. Basically, they suggest that the only way to have a healthy relationship with them is through fear; Islam, which actually tends to harbor anti-Semitism but elicits fear in the media and in jews, gets a pass; Christianity, which generally wants to give jewry a big hug and turns the other cheek, gets pissed on from a very great height.

I don’t think being friendly and tolerant with jews is the way to ensure their proper behavior or their respect.

A much grosser case than some silly student’s prank is the film of ‘The Da Vinci Code’, which portrays Christianity as a con trick on humanity. It is produced by the Japanese-owned Columbia Pictures, but most of the executives are Jews:

Former president of Jewish-owned CBS, Howard Stringer (a Jew), became second in command of Sony International. He is chair and CEO of Sony of America.

Sony of America is dominated by Jewish names. Emily Susskind is president. Robert Wiesenthal is executive VP and chief financial officer; Nicole Seligman is executive VP and general counsel. Phil Weiser is CTO and senior VP. Michael Fidler Jr. is senior VP. Jay Samit is general manager of Connect. Gretchen Griswold is director of corporate communications.

Sony’s subsidiary, Columbia Pictures, maker of the Da Vinci Code movie, is headed by Amy Pascal, a Jew. She is also chairman of Sony’s Motion Picture Group. 3 The producer of the film is Brian Grazer, a Jew.

The screenplay was written by well-known, Jewish screenwriter Akiva Goldsman.

The director is a gentile, Ron Howard, doubtless chosen to defuse suspicion as the main spokesman for this travesty, which happily seems to have tanked at the box office. Perhaps Christian evangelicals in the boondocks turned against it, though many still think Israel should be buttressed at all costs to America.

How much longer will high-IQ people go on biting the hand that feeds them and being surprised when they occasionally lose a finger or two? What sort of obtusity is this?

I followed that closely at the time, and as I recall it was “religion doesn’t sell”. Anti-Semitism was the charge of the critics. There were those two unnamed Jewish execs who admitted Christianity’s anti-Semitism as their motive.
