Prince Philip: King of Gaffes

I wasn’t aware that Prince Philip was so much fun!

The link doesn’t mention the poorly wired fuse-box at some factory Philip was visiting. He asked the manager (I’m going by memory here) “Did some Indian put that in?”

On a trip to Quebec in the 80s he offended some of the locals when he said he couldn’t understand French Canadians because they slurred their words.

Ideally, I would have liked my mate Royal Phil to be an MR blogger, cos he’s got the jive, ya’ll know whad I meen. Not afraid to speak eezy. But he’s just too incorrect and race-realist for this right-on, cool diversity blog. Pity, but that’s Greeks (Germans, actually) for you.

His missus, on the other hand, apparently think Jamaican diversity it strengthen Brittania. Silly ass. She wouldn’t know a blog from dem sturgins’ egz.
