I suppose one could say, and many here have said, spooking the herd in the end was always inevitable. I have spent most of this Sunday morning wrapped in a Guardian article commenting on the rapid disappearance of democracy in our land. The recent dismissal of elected representatives in both Greece and Italy by the EU bosses has pushed the panic awareness indicator of the cognizant to new heights. Comments as I write are over the hundred mark, nothing remarkable about that you might say, but the quality and depth of response is the most interesting I have seen in many awhile. It’s not just our leaders who are in a crisis. Democracy itself is failing Cameron has now reached the point of no return, he’s been sussed as the heir to Blair on steroids. He is between a rock and a hard place, how much longer he can last is any one’s guess. I suspect the multiple crises that are rapidly reaching denouement is pushing the elites faster than they would wish. Having said that, the media is still very much in control and the herd still contentedly grazing. (Will they ever know what is intended for them? I doubt it.) 5
