Liberalism’s Kid Glove: If You Need A Condom, Maybe You Should Get to Know That Person Better.

Posted by DanielS on Wednesday, 06 April 2016 07:18.

One of the best litmus tests as to whether or not you are being too liberal, too promiscuous with regard to sex, is whether or not you need to use a condom. If you don’t know someone well enough to be sure that you are not going to get a disease or have an unwanted pregnancy, then maybe you ought to get to know them better before having sex with them. If you really like someone and if they are really worth it, you are not likely to have to use condoms at all. And would you really like to use them?

Subtitle: don’t forget to forget your condom. A.I.D.S. is a most beautiful disease, generally targeting people who deserve to die for their bullying, irresponsible, reckless treatment of sex.

Particularly when the bounds of EGI are unguarded, the need to treat sex carefully, as an act which can endorse or undermine our EGI, becomes all the more important. Sex will be used by our enemies in psy-ops, such as the profusion of interracial porn. It will be used by our enemies to promote liberal politics, empower those horribly destructive to our interests and to dis-empower those thoughtful of our interests - those concerned with our people in our broad pattern. It will be used by our antagonists to outbreed our race, including outbreeding some of our most qualitatively differentiated genetic capital. As de facto safeguards of liberalism, they have their go-to “moral arguments” to distract us from the moral re-ordering of our people.

After marriage, the condom is taken by liberalism as one of its lines of defense. Don’t be fooled, there’s no substitute for the White class and its bounds. This holds the freedom in sacrament and in celebration that gives our people life and health as opposed to destruction.

There can be a time to be Dionysian, promiscuous for some who choose to be - i.e., among our own people - but that time is when the borders of our EGI are secured and members accounted for. Until then, good riddance to those who treat our genetic treasures irresponsibly; it couldn’t happen to worse, more deserving people of a miserable fate.

Don’t you just feel so sorry for her…

Always remember, er, forget your condom. If you think that you have to use one, you’d better get to know who you are screwing around with a little better - maybe a lot better.

Daily Beast, ‘Porn World in Panic Over Charlie Sheen’s HIV Diagnosis’, Nov 20, 2015:

‘There is so much fear right now amongst the girls…’

Well-known for his porn star companions, Charlie Sheen’s recent admission to being HIV-positive has sent a ripple of fear through the adult industry. There’s no protocol in place for this. There are no records of who Sheen’s hired, thus no quarantine list for the porn stars he’s been sexually active with.

In the semi-regulated world of adult film, when an HIV scare is made known everyone asks, “Did I perform with the person who tested positive?” Fear turns to panic if it was a close call, relief if it wasn’t. That’s only after a name is released—or patient zero comes forward. Production shuts down, quarantine lists are drawn up for first generation, second, third, and so on. An ideal “who’s performed with whom” list chronicling before and after known exposure is made available. Some call this “the honor system.”

Unfortunately, those outside the business don’t always play by the industry’s self-regulated rules. Needless to say, former Two and a Half Men actor Charlie Sheen plays by his own rules.

“There is so much fear right now amongst the girls…like who have I had sex with that has had sex with them, or have I had sex with a girl who has had sex with Charlie?” says Alana Evans, 2015 AVN Hall of Fame recipient. “Maybe we can get Charlie to put together a list of all the porno girls he’s had sex with so the rest of us can make sure we’re okay? That’d be great.”

In case you missed it, Sheen admitted on the Today Show that he was HIV-positive, and has known of his diagnosis for four years. He also alleged “all sexual partners have known” about his condition with “no exception.”

While some are applauding Sheen for his bravery in coming forward, there’s speculation amongst industry insiders as to why now? Some credit the 27-year-old blonde who spoke anonymously to the Daily Mail with forcing Sheen’s hand. She estimates the A-lister had sex with at least 50 porn stars since his diagnosis and “fears the porn industry could face an ‘HIV epidemic’ as a result.”

‘There is so much fear right now amongst the girls…’

Sheen’s latest role as victim is a bit hard to swallow. He paints a vivid portrait of his suffering at the mercy of his addictions, depression, and multi-million dollar extortions from ex-lovers. Even so, that his two ex-goddesses are contradicting his story raises questions concerning his credibility.

Ex-goddess Bree Olson, who dated and lived with Sheen for seven months in 2011, appeared on The Howard Stern Show to claim she had no idea about her ex’s condition, and claimed she learned about his HIV-positive status “right along with everyone else.”

“He never said anything to me,” Olson added. “I was his girlfriend. I lived with him. We were together. We had sex almost every day for a year—with lambskin condoms.”

Now lambskin condoms—incredibly thin condoms are billed as providing the closest thing to not using condoms at all—only guard against pregnancy and do not prevent the transmission of HIV. Olson told Stern that while she wanted to use standard Trojan condoms, lambskin was Sheen’s condom of choice.

While Olson tested negative for HIV, in Sheen’s home state of California it’s a felony punishable by up to eight years in prison for a person with HIV to have unprotected sex with the intent to infect someone who’s unaware of their status. Though that is incredibly hard to prove in criminal court, California also has a misdemeanor charge carrying up to six months in prison for willfully exposing others to HIV.

No thoughtful person makes AIDS prevention a cause.

Of the hundreds, or thousands, of women who made themselves available to Magic Johnson, he said: “I tried to accommodate as many as possible. Some of them were unbelievable.”

This liberalism, this irresponsibility to our EGI, is not what we’re here to defend. With unspeakable irresponsibility and selfish uncaring (to say the least), they bring into the world behavior and genetics destructive to any reflective people - especially our European people.

Africa is one of the only places where AIDS is on the rise. That is good. Their population needs to be drastically reduced and its increase, let alone interbeeding with others, needs to be thwarted.

Magic, er, E.T. says, “Remember to not use a condom. AIDS is a beautiful thing.” It kills those irresponsible and reckless with our EGI.

Because not all merit defense, we need an order to secure those who do. 14

Magic Johnson, crying Trojan proponent

“No glove no love”, so the motto of condom proponents goes - a condom being referred to as a “glove”, in their liberal slang.

With Charlie Sheen “preferring lambskin condoms”, in particular, an older slogan comes to mind as particularly apt to capture the refrain of those who would contest the facilitation of liberalism - they are treating those who engage in reckless and socially destructive behavior “with kid gloves” - that is to say, they are protecting them too much and therefore enabling bad behavior in the long term.

Handle with kid gloves

Meaning

Handle a situation, or a person or an object, delicately and gingerly.

Origin

Kid gloves are, of course, gloves made from the skin of a young goat. I say ‘of course’ but, in fact, when they were first fashioned in the 18th century they were more often made from lambskin, as that was easier to come by. They were clearly not intended for use when you were pruning the hedge and wearing kid gloves was the sartorial equivalent of pale white skin, that is, it indicated that the wearer was rich enough to indulge in a life of genteel indoor idleness. The earliest mentions of kid gloves are from England in the 1730s and the following is a typical report of a wealthy gentleman, laid out in his ‘Sunday best’, from Bagnall’s News, in The Ipswich Journal, December 1734:

The Corpse of Mr. Thorp, A Distiller in Soho, who died a few Days since, said to be worth £10000 was put into his Coffin, quilted within with white Sattin; and after several yards of fine Holland [best-quality linen] were wrapt about his Body… on his Head was a Cap of the same Holland tied with a white Ribbond; he has about his Neck two Yards of Cambrick; a Cambrick Handkerchief between his Hands, on which he had a pair of white Kid Gloves: and in this manner he lay in state some Days and was afterwards buried in Buckinghamshire.

At that time, kid gloves were viewed as rather ostentatious and only suitable for the nouveau riche - much as heavy gold chains might be viewed today.

Horrendously liberal disposition toward participation in the porn industry displayed by “The Daily Dot” and Bree Olsen, despite her contrition for its consequences to her.

Daily Dot, “A porn star tells us why she sent this viral warning to young girls”, 24 Mar 2016:

A few years ago, Bree Olson was on top of the world. She was a Penthouse pet and the star of hundreds of adult movies. She’d made headlines for being one of Charlie Sheen’s live-in “goddesses” (though the relationship ended, as most of Sheen’s relationships do). When she retired in 2011, her success in porn led her to achieve the type of elusive mainstream success that most porn stars aspire to, with supporting roles in films like The Human Centipede 3 and her very own webseries.

In most respects, Olson has had the career that most porn girls dream about. Which is why it came as something of a surprise when she posted the following admonition to aspiring porn stars on Twitter:

CNN, “Bree Olson describes hardships after leaving adult film industry” 27 Mar 2016:

Charlie Sheen’s ex Bree Olson is opening up about her struggles after leaving the adult film industry.

Story highlights

Bree Olson says she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with porn
However, she says, the way people treat you after you are involved with it isn’t worth it

(CNN)Former adult film star Bree Olson has a message for young girls: Don’t get into porn.

Olson was one of Charlie Sheen’s live-in “goddesses” who shared his home with other women during his 2011 meltdown.

Olson estimates she was making $30,000 to $60,000 a month in the adult film industry before she gave up her career and parted ways with Sheen.

Since then, she’s been trying to transition into mainstream life, but it hasn’t been easy. Olson shared her struggles in a video for the digital interview series, “Real Women, Real Stories.”

She said she has trouble finding work and making friends. No one wants anything to do with her after they find out about her former life. Without giving details, she said people who recognize her in public call her ugly, demeaning names.

“When I go out, I feel as if I’m wearing ‘slut’ across my forehead,” she said in the video interview, which was posted online last week and is making the rounds in feminist circles on social media.

“I have really gotten to the point where there are days to weeks at time where I don’t leave the house because I don’t feel like facing the world,” she said. “People treat me as if I am a pedophile. They don’t treat me like an ex-sex worker. They treat me like I would somehow be damaging to children.”

Olson, 29, moved recently from Los Angeles to Fort Wayne, Indiana. In an email interview with CNN she said she left the porn industry in 2011 and tried to launch several businesses that failed. She now works reluctantly as a cam model, a term for men and women who perform sex acts on live webcams for Internet customers. She has a girlfriend, and Bree Olson is not her real name.

Olson said she agreed to do the video interview—recorded last year at her home in L.A.—to offer an honest take on the porn industry and its effects on female stars of adult films.

The curator of “Real Women, Real Stories,” Matan Uziel, told CNN he launched the series to empower women by highlighting their struggles, challenging stereotypes and raising money for causes that support girls’ and women’s education.

“Today, unfortunately women are seriously under-represented across nearly all sectors of society around the globe. I believe that with that proper exposure, we can minimize the destruction and even reverse some negative trends against women,” he told CNN in an email. “In our next episodes, we want to keep spotlighting provocative stories about women that you don’t get to access through magazines and reality television.”

When Olson is asked in the video how she would like to be treated, the question appears to catch her off guard. She brings her hands to her mouth, falling silent as tears fill her eyes.

“I wish people would treat me like they would treat a married registered nurse with 2.5 kids in Indiana. That’s how I wish people would treat me,” she said, wiping away tears.

“I would be so happy,” she continues. “I never even thought of that before. But it will never happen. That’s probably why I don’t think about it.”

Olson told CNN the backlash she’s faced over her work in porn has killed her dreams of having children.

“I’ll never put a child through this,” she said. “Even with the best private education and great parenting, the parents will talk and the children will hear and my child would be ostracized.”

She also fears that her past will derail her goal of having a traditional career.

“I’d love to go back to college and work for some amazing company, be it health care, children, some other type of firm, and I’d work my way right to the top—but I am hit with harsh realities constantly,” she told CNN.

“People say, change your hair color, move to another state. Ha! People know me by voice alone. I can’t run. I can’t hide. I have to face this. Anonymity is something I’ll never know. Even with all the surgeries, relocating, years of school, all it takes is one person to blow everything,” she said.

“The only way to have power at this point is to own it. Yeah, I did porn, and thanks to this society that’s all I can say I’ve done.”
In the video, Olson says there’s nothing inherently wrong with porn or with women embracing their sexuality. Even so, she cautions young women against entering the adult film industry because of how society will treat them.

“I send a very strong message to young girls: Don’t do porn,” she said. “You’re just going to have a life of crap in front of you in dealing with people, companies,” she said, describing how employers can turn you down based on past experience or “morality clauses.”

“These are things that teenage girls don’t think (about),” she said. “There’s nothing wrong with porn, but how people treat you for the rest of your life, it’s not worth it.”

The New Observer, “$1.4bn “Wasted” on African anti-HIV Program”, 3 August 2016:

A $1.4 billion U.S. taxpayer-funded anti-AIDS campaign to teach Africans sexual responsibility has failed completely and the money has been wasted, it has emerged.

The campaign forms part of the George W. Bush-created U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

According to a new report in the Scientific American, the latest waste of money “was supposed to prevent the spread of HIV—but it didn’t work.”

The Scientific American report revealed that a “rigorous comparison of national data from countries that received abstinence funding” from PEPFAR with those that got none of the funding, showed no difference in the age of first sexual experience, the number of sexual partners, or teenage pregnancies—all aspects of behaviors which are linked to a higher risk of becoming infected with HIV.

PEPFAR was funded by Congress with bipartisan support solely to fight AIDS in Africa. It included billions to distribute anti-retroviral drugs, but one third of the money went to “HIV prevention programs” aimed at teaching sexual responsibility.

This included sex education classes in schools and public health announcements on billboards and the radio.

According to the PEPFAR website, the organization operates in the following African states: Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

According to the most recent HIV overview published by UK Charity Avert, Sub-Saharan Africa has the most serious HIV and AIDS epidemic in the world.

In 2013, an estimated 24.7 million Africans were living with HIV, accounting for 71 percent of the global total. In the same year, there were an estimated 1.5 million new HIV infections and 1.1 million AIDS-related deaths.

He infected about 40 Polish girls with HIV by arguing that using a condom with a black man is a sign of racism and racist fears.

                Simon Mol

Beatroot, “Simon Mol charged with infecting 12 Polish women with HIV”, 16 Dec 2007

Almost a year after he was first detained by police in Warsaw, the Cameroonian ‘refugee’, poet and human rights activist is finally charged by the prosecution service, and faces a long jail sentence.

Mol’s case, as it was revealed in a blaze of outrage in the Polish media in January this year, is a tabloid journo’s dream.

An African who had won refugee status and had become a well-known media figure, campaigning on human rights and race issues in Poland, was accused by numerous women in Warsaw of infecting them with HIV, while all along knowing that he was carrying the virus.

But the case is not just about whether he knew, or not, that he was HIV positive (although that is what the court, when he finally comes before a judge, will be deciding). When asked by the women to use protection before sex, he had refused, claiming that they were only asking him to wear a condom because he was ‘an African’.

When the Rzeczpospolita daily went to Cameroon and Nigeria to examine whether Mol’s claims of political persecution in those countries was true, they found that his family, friends and work colleagues knew nothing about it. It seems that Mol was an economic migrant, not a political refugee. Mol’s side of the story is here.

So, in one case we have a deadly combination of sex, race and politics. If you had to write a prototype tabloid shock, horror story, then this was it.

Of course, if the prosecution can prove that Mol knew he had HIV and had deliberately infected women as some kind of political ‘revenge’ – and this has been suggested in the press coverage here – then this is a very, very nasty crime, indeed, and nobody would be too upset if they slung him in jail and threw away the key.

Simon Mol and the ‘Warsaw Salon’

Many of the women who slept with Mol seem to come from artistic, liberal circles, known here as the ‘Salon’. Mol was a poet and writer (though not a particularly good one) who was a member of many cultural societies and political organizations in Poland. He was allied to the small Green Party, but also a member of an ex-pats’ writer’s club based in Warsaw.

After I was asked to join the same writer’s club, this summer, I was talking to one of the organizers about the Mol case. The guy told a familiar tale, of feeling ‘betrayed’ by Simon. Everyone was taken in by him, and not just the 12 women infected with HIV, and the many others who were lucky enough to get away with the encounter.

I also took part in a UK documentary about the culture of Polish soccer fans, which was filmed in Warsaw and Krakow late last year. One of the other contributors was Simon Mol, who was involved in the ‘Kick Racism out of Football’ campaign. I got a slightly worried email in March, this year, from the British producers of the film, asking whether Mol’s presence in the documentary would damage its credibility. It was too early to say yes or no, as nothing has been proved in a court of law, one way or another (and we should remember that it still hasn’t). I don’t know whether they have kept Mol in the film, but if I was the documentary maker, I probably would have left him on the cutting room floor.

I met Mol a few times, and he was a convincing character. He seemed genuine. And what he talked about – the inadequate refugee services in Poland, the racism he and other Africans encountered, remains, despite the fact the Mol himself allegedly appears to have been charlatan, essentially true.

Mol has left many angry, disappointed, and sick people in his wake. What is also worrying is the damaged image of genuine African refugees in Poland. They have joined the long list of victims of the actions of Simon Mol, the man whose poetry seduced a nation.

The most dramatic aspect of all of this are stories about Mol forcing women to have unprotected sex with him by arguing that using a condom with a black man is a sign of racism and racist fears; that it is politically incorrect. This is coupled with the fact that for many women, having unprotected sex with a black man fulfilled two politically correct obligations: it was trendy to have sex with a black man, and it was also a sign that one was not prejudiced against blacks.”

If a girl protested against the lack of protection, he accused her of “blatant racism, that everyone thinks Africans carry HIV. Not willing to appear racist, they usually complied.

“Simon Mol always accused everybody of racism. When you didn’t do what he wished, he would yell that it was because he was black. He never listened to any arguments, he would always just leave, slamming the door behind him. Everyone knew that he could make his accusations public, and everyone feared it,” says a person who runs a humanitarian organization that helps refugees. “It goes without saying; he terrorized us with political correctness. And he was very charming as well.”

Monika O., a literature student infected by Mol explains as follows “I was fascinated by human rights activist fighting with racial stereotypes. Soon we started to meet, went to bed. I didn’t suspect that he could infect me with HIV virus and even less, hide from me that he is infected. I also thought that suspecting him of being infected would equal giving way to stereotypes.

Simon Mol (6 November 1973 in Buea, Cameroon – 10 October 2008) was the pen name of Simon Moleke Njie, a Cameroon-born journalist, writer and anti-racist political activist.[1] In 1999 he sought political asylum in Poland; it was granted in 2000, and he moved to Warsaw, where he became a well-known anti-racist campaigner.

In Poland, Mol was accused of knowingly spreading the HIV virus and was charged in the cases of eleven women and remanded in custody.[2] However, Mol’s trial was suspended due to his severe illness.[3] He died from HIV-related complications on 10 October 2008.

Life in Africa

Mol was born into an English-speaking family in Cameroon. His autobiography states that he worked as a journalist; was persecuted and jailed for his writing; sought political asylum in several African countries; and was granted asylum in Ghana, where he was persecuted again.[4]

On 6 March 2007 newspaper Rzeczpospolita published an article on Simon Mol (Na tropie oszusta Simona Mola by Bertold Kittel and Maja Narbutt in co-operation with Anna Machowska from TVN), stating that his biography was fabricated. An editor of the Cameroonian English language weekly The Sketch denied that Njie worked there; his mother said he was employed at a refinery; didn’t write about government corruption in Cameroon; and was not jailed in 1996. A representative of Ghanaian journalists said that while in Ghana Njie published newspaper articles about football and was never arrested in that country.

Life in Poland

In June 1999 he arrived in Poland as a member of the Ghanaian PEN Club delegation to a PEN annual congress in Warsaw. Immediately, Njie applied for asylum, which was granted in September 2000.

In Poland Simon Mol wrote poems, founded a small theatre, and engaged in political campaigns for the rights of mostly African and Chechen refugees, anti-racism, anti-fascism and environmental protection.[5] A journal article, Post –Unification Anglophone Exile Poetry: Introducing Simon Mol & Kangsen Feka Wakai, reviewed his poetry in 2006.[6]

His activities brought attention to presumed racial discrimination in Poland,[7] with him filing reports to Amnesty International about the alleged institutional racism.[8]

Sports

He was a football player in the Mazur Karczew football team. One of the matches that he organized himself for his all-Black team was against Polonia Warszawa, according to the bulletin of the Polish Humanitarian Organisation.[9]

He later used his sports team for political campaigns.[10]
Public career

He became an advisor with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a journalist of The Warsaw Voice, the secretary general of Association of Refugees in the Republic of Poland, the chief editor of “The Voice of the Refugee” (“Głos Uchodźców”)[11]

In 2005 he organized a conference with Black ambassadors in Poland to protest the claims in an article in Wiedza i Życie by Adam Leszczyński about AIDS problems in Africa, which quoted research stating that a majority of African women were unable to persuade their HIV positive husbands to wear condoms, and so later got caught HIV themselves. Mol accused Leszczyński of prejudice because of this publication.[12]

As a cultural representative of the international anti-racist sports campaigns organized by UEFA,[13] he was sent to conferences in Italy and the UK.[14]

Accusations of HIV criminal infection

South African Press Association (SAPA) and Agence France Presse in their article described him as “a darling of Poland’s liberal press” due to his political campaigns[15] Thus some of his victims were reportedly intimidated and threatened[16] and Polish police delayed his arrest for long because of his political connections,[17] thus allowing him to infect new victims.

In February 2006, further to his partner’s request for him to take an HIV test, Mol declined and published a post on his blog explaining why not:

Character assassination isn’t a new phenomenon. However, it appears here the game respects no rules. It wouldn’t be superfluous to state that there is an ingrained, harsh and disturbing dislike for Africans here. The accusation of being HIV positive is the latest weapon that as an African your enemy can raise against you. This ideologically inspired weapon, is strengthened by the day with disturbing literature about Africa from supposed-experts on Africa, some of whom openly boast of traveling across Africa in two weeks and return home to write volumes. What some of these hastily compiled volumes have succeeded in breeding, is a social and psychological conviction that every African walking the street here is supposedly HIV positive, and woe betide anyone who dares to unravel the myth being put in place.[18]

According to the police inspector who was investigating his case, a witness stated that Mol refused to wear condoms during sex. An anonymous witness in one case said that he accused a girl who demanded he should wear them that she was racist because as he was Black she thought he must be infected with HIV.[19] After sexual intercourse he used to say to his female partners that his sperm was sacred. [20]

In November 2006 he was suspected of criminal infection of HIV and proceedings started.

On the 3rd of January 2007 Mol was taken into custody by the Polish police and charged with infecting his sexual partners with HIV.[21][22] According to the Rzeczpospolita newspaper, he was diagnosed with HIV back in 1999 while living in a refugee shelter, but Polish law does not force an HIV carrier to reveal his or her disease status.

In an unusual move, his photo with an epidemiological warning, was ordered to be publicly displayed by the then Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro.[23] MediaWatch, a body that monitors alleged racism, quickly denounced this decision, asserting that it was a breach of ethics with racist implications, as the picture had been published before any court verdict. They saw it as evidence of institutional racism in Poland, also calling for international condemnation.[24]

After his arrest, Mol stated he had no knowledge of being an HIV carrier and accused the police of racism.[25][26]

Mol was put on trial in July 2008, but the trial was suspended when Mol’s health deteriorated. Due to this and previous procedural delays, at this point the case on behalf of his victims was taken over by the then current minister of Education and Deputy PM Roman Giertych, who demanded that the case be requalified as intentional murder and demanded life sentence for Mol, thus increasing the profile of the case.[27]

Mol was hospitalised, suffering from acute renal failure. Mol died on 10 October 2008 in Warsaw.[28] Until his death he stated he had no knowledge of being infected by HIV, claiming that his case was political.[29]
Social and political impact

Mol’s affair had a “high domestic profile” and political impact.[30] A study by Agnieszka Weinar stated that “The incident was widely discussed in the media, but it did not have any political repercussions”. The study, conducted before Mol’s death, showed that the number of articles compared with Polish coverage of the London bombings of July 2005; urban riots in France in autumn 2005; and Danish cartoons affair.[31]
Epidemiological impact
Initial testing panic

After police published Mol’s photo and an alert before the start of court proceedings, Warsaw HIV testing centers were “invaded by young women”. A few said that they knew Mol. Some of the HIV tests have been positive. According to the police inspector who had been monitoring the tests and the case: “Some women very quickly started to suffer drug-resistant tonsillitis and fungal infections. They looked wasted, some lost as many as 15 kilograms and were deeply traumatized, impeding us taking the witness statements. 18 additional likely victims have been identified thereby”.[32] Genetic tests of the virus from the infectees and Simon proved that it was specific to Cameroon.[33]

Record number of HIV virus cases were detected in the central Mazovia region and the whole Poland in January 2007.[34] Simon Mol’s had visited Gdańsk in September 2006, where he helped organize the anti-racist “Music against Intolerance and Violence” festival. After publishing Mol’s epidemiological alert, the number of HIV tests in the Gdańsk provincial centers exceeded 100, day in day out, including two worried males who learnt that their partners had slept with Mol, while the usual number had been hovering over a dozen cases daily beforehand.[35]

Changed refugee law

Despite concerns voiced by UNHCR in April 2007 the plans for HIV testing of asylum seekers were fully introduced in Poland shortly after Mol’s well-publicised trial.[36] Poland joined Iceland and Slovakia as the only three countries in Europe to offer HIV testing prior to entry for all migrants on arrival, with other EU countries targeting their tests to ethnic groups, mostly from sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe.[37]
Awards and recognition

In 2003, he received the award “Antifascist of the Year” given by the Nigdy Więcej (“Never Again”) anti-rasism association.[38]

In 2004, on behalf of the President of Poland, he was nominated for the Sergio Vieira de Mello Prize, alongside the ex-PM Tadeusz Mazowiecki and other Polish luminaries, for “rebuilding peace in post-conflict communities”, under the patronage of the High Commissioner of the United Nations for Refugees, among other institutions.[39]

Honorary member of the British International Pen Club Centre.[40]

In 2006 Mol received the prestigious award „Oxfam Novib/PEN Award for Freedom of Expression”.[41][42]
