The unbearable lightness of BNP-ing

Posted by Guessedworker on Monday, 15 September 2008 15:55.

This link will take you to the BBC-televised Q & A session held by the Mayor of London.  Basically, once every month Boris Johnson fields business questions from the twenty-five members of the London Assembly.  One of these is the BNP’s second-greatest “asset”, Richard Barnbrook.

He is evidently having a fairly torrid time in the Assembly, which is to be expected.  Bravery and doggedness, both of which Barnbrook possesses, are admirable qualities for, say, an army corporal or a even a warrant officer.  But other qualities are required in representative politics - all the moreso when one carries on one’s shoulders the burden of representing the truest interests of every native Londoner.

Click on the BBC link and slide the programme forward to precisely 2:16.07.  You will hear Barnbrook being called to ask his question of the Mayor.  But you won’t see him on the screen - presumably because he cannot bear to take his seat in the Assembly chamber without his party apparel (“banners, posters, materials, props”), although the consequences of doing so have been explained to him.

The question he wants to ask is an important one about the harm to London caused by the riotous, costly and dangerous Notting Hill Carnival.  This is the first mayoral questions since the Carnival, and no other Assembly member has the principle, never mind the political independence, to question it.  It is a right and proper use of mayoral questions to do so.  The aura of smugness of the political Establishment in London deserves to be elegantly skewered on this and a great many other issues.  But Barnbrook cannot do elegance.  He cannot even follow the precedent of the other Assembly members of all parties, and address the Mayor in a non-partisan way.  He cannot organise his own thoughts.  He quickly loses the thread, finishing without asking a proper question at all.  Naturally, he doesn’t engage Johnson for one moment.  He is easily ridiculed and very brutally despatched, to general laughter and applause.

He is a wire terrier by nature.  He will come back as game as ever, bristling with BNP indignation, having learned nothing from this or any previous encounter ... and certainly not having learned how to square up, within Assembly rules, to a class political act like Johnson.

The 130,714 Londoners who voted for the BNP on May 3rd deserve something better than this.  We all do.

A class political act? The man acts like a bumbling buffoon most of the time, at the Olympics hand over ceremony i was expecting him to trip over the Union Flag and say something vaguely “racist” regarding the pathetic multicultural show put on by Britain.

Although anyone buying his “act” would be very surprised when reading his educational history, Barnbrook does have a problem with his speech from time to time but i’m sure the people would rather see someone speaking their language than the stop start etonian speech of Boris.

With regards to the figure quoted above, we believe the true figure was more than double that, which would have given us another AM but apparently 400,000 Londoners don’t know how to fill out a ballot sheet? the establishment is playing a very dangerous game when they start destroying votes.

I am quite impressed with your article, you managed to avoid mentioning fascism, nazism and Hitler.

Ed, you do know this blog is generally rather more nationalist than the BNP don’t you?

I know now, having read more of the site, it’s quite hard to equate Majorityrights and a red picture of Europe with ethno-nationalism at a glance.

Nice site anyway.

Ed,

The “bumbling-ness” of Boris Johnson has turned out to be a very effective way of, on the one hand, of carving out public recognition and, on the other, insulating him from the normal effects of “mis-speaking”.  Why would you not believe that it is intentional.  Look at his performance in Questions - the man is the master of his brief and effortlessly commands authority as mayor.  This is a class political act, albeit an unconventional one.

As for Barnbrook, it isn’t that difficult to construct a case critical of the Notting Hill Carnival, is it?  But banging away on a low-brow BNP soap-box doesn’t do it.  If his objective is more than merely griping ... if, for example, he wants to have the Carnival moved out of London’s streets and on to a suitable piece of common land for good, practical reasons, he must set about the task of slowly and methodically explaining what those reasons are and why they are right.  He should work out a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis of his own, and set about asking what cost the Mayor, in his blind enthusiasm, is not prepared to pay for the Carnival to continue.  Where is the line drawn?  Or is there no line?  If there is, how is it measured ... in nett financial gain to London?  In black joi de vivre?  How?

There’s plenty of angles to work on.

“Why would you not believe that it is intentional.”

I know it is intentional that is why i called it an “act”, he is in no way as idiotic as he comes across, he is in fact one of the most intelligent politicians around, as for mayors questions he receives a copy prior to the event.

Barnbrook hasn’t been there long and his political career has only really just begun, give him a chance i say.

I believe Boris has views that are similar to those of the nationalist movement, but whilst he is a Conservative he is an enemy of Britain and should be treated with contempt.

What makes you say that, Ed?  If true it would be extremely good news obviously, even if he can’t “show” it at present.

Which is exactly what Steve Sailer has often written about President Bush, by the way, that he acts and talks dumb in an effort to secure the votes of various constituencies, but isn’t.

The absolute minimum requirements for a politician to conduct himself effectively in the public arena is to be able to operate within the rules and procedures of the institution, and to be able to organise his thoughts under pressure.  If Barnbrook can’t get these basics right, he isn’t going to do a useful job.  He will merely provide ammunition for the opposition’s claims that BNP councillors, once elected, fall down on the job.

His performance here - and on election night - was absolutely what the opposition wants to see from loyalists (let’s not flatter them with the name of “nationalists”).  So can he learn?  That’s the question.  Because if he can’t ... if all he is going to offer over the next three and a half years is this, the BNP will fail those who vote for and support it.

Crazy antics CAN be useful when you are on the outside looking in.  But now that he has a seat, he should change tactics and try to show respectability and prudence.

It is a matter of using the right tool for the right job at the right time.

Someone calling himself stygian posted the following in the comments section of the Observer - Sunday21st September 2008 12.07am.

The following comment is in response to the Obsever editorial -  The evidence is clear. Labour isn’t working.

My only comment is, I cannot recall seeing see anything like this before.

“An as yet unnamed elite, lawless organisation is actually running the country by stealth, in effect a silent insurrection from within. The control must be total, absolute, and lead top-down from the centre. What and who cannot be controlled must be destroyed by nulabor. An unelected cadre already runs the country, bypassing Parliament, the Judiciary, and all the institutional safeguards that were designed to ensure our freedoms.

Meanwhile, it is daily reported how our leaders lie, cheat, steal, bully and abuse, yet there is a reticence - for fear of retribution - to using the appropriate description - institutionalised corruption - that has repeatedly, relentlessly, ruthlessly, systematically and cynically destroyed the lives of anyone arbitrarily deemed to be a potential threat.

It is an expensive business to run an insurrectionist alternative power cult in parallel with what the ordinary decent citizen perceives as democracy. However, any perception of local democracy, people empowerment, or meaningful engagement in consultation to inform and contribute to the decision-making processes is a carefully engineered illusion.

It is necessary to create control structures, finance them, then train people to head these on behalf of the nulabor cult, to pay for fixers, and to employ the myriad of minions in the non-jobs. The money from this comes from both the current central government, and from the billions of Eurofunds. These created structures are used to facilitate the falsification of evidence of prior consultation and consensus needed for eligibility for the funds. To staff these structures, and to ensure placement of the chosen people in the right places, there needs to be a nulabor centrally controlled leadership training establishment, working as a charity. The truth is, the training establishment is not training leaders at all, it is doing the opposite, training automatons to do the bidding of their masters, regardless of morality, ethics or the law.

Why a charity? Because charities do not attract the same level of cynicism and scrutiny as public authorities, they are not subject to freedom of information laws, they are easy and naive prey for the nulabor elite, and charities are easy organisations for strategic positioning to exert influence, interest and control far beyond their legal remit.

In addition, where the chosen leaders are placed in a charity positioned for strategic control, they form the perfect base for money-laundering. Where existing charities can’t be taken over, they are destroyed, and new charities created. Where charities prove themselves to be providing a needed service, they are targeted for privatisation, and the tax-liable jobs falsely claimed to be employment creation. There is no job creation, just transfer.

The secretly chosen recipients of ‘training’ are to be found in highly lucrative positions of many of the decision-making quangos with financial controls. They also ensure that the nulabor social-re-engineering projects are funded in preference to any other, whilst refusing any applications not in keeping with the nulabor agenda.

Once the right steps are in place, the nulabor project can continue unfettered, having control of people, publicity, processes, and pecuniary pursuits. Threats are destroyed. All this being done covertly, with the cadre elite of the cult even deciding who can have what information.

This nulabor government is corrupt. The nulabor corruption is absolute, lead from the top down, imposed through all tiers of social and government control, down to street level. Being rotten to the core and from the core, everything it touches it taints. Having neither the ability nor inclination to correct itself, outside intervention is indicated.

This statement can be extended to democracy itself. Perhaps it is not only the government that must be replaced, but the style of government, as the current flavour leaves such a bad taste. Our leading politicians, to whom we are entitled to look for behavioural guidance, have failed to make the distinction between what is legal and what it right. Finding a loophole to do something does not make what is wrong, right. The very act of looking for a loophole is evidence of intent to act amorally. It is no use saying that no rules have been broken, and therefore the behaviour is OK. Those not acting in the spirit of the law, or not capable of making the distinction between right and wrong, have no place in our society, and certainly not as our leaders or representatives in any government.

In the UK, democracy is dead. Despite the claims to devolve democracy, empower people, or derogate decision-making, what we have seen is the creation and maintenance of an illusion of consultation, followed by false claims of consensus. In truth, central control is tightened, as so-called community leaders are politically placed and imposed, and so on upwards through every control tier to nulabor HQ”

Bill, that’s without any doubt whatsoever a highly accurate outline of what is in reality going on.  Brilliant piece of analysis and deduction by whoever wrote it.  Thanks for posting it.

Now, what can be done about it?  At the present moment, only as wide a dissemination as possible of that and commentary like it, to make more and more people aware.

Our side is growing, theirs stagnating or perhaps even shrinking a little (of course they’re bringing in all the Third Worlders in order to bolster their side, and make it not shrink, but even so, it’s not growing and may even be shrinking).

Unfortunately, time is both working against us (in terms of race-replacement proceeding apace, exactly according to plan, their aim being to place us before what they hope will be the politically irreversible fait accompli of race-change) and working for us (the fact we’re growing and they’re stagnating).

But we can thwart their little plan in this sense:  by first halting the active race-change immigration process of course, but just as importantly by resolving NEVER under any circumstances to accept whatever degree of race-change they manage to inflict (manage to inflict before being stopped) as a fait accompli, but to ALWAYS, COME WHAT MAY, insist on reversal of the demographic change they’ll have wrought, until full restoration of the racial/ethnocultural status quo ante be restored, and absolutely no compromise on that.  No matter at what stage we finally halt the excessive incompatible immigration itself, that will be only stage one of redress.  Stage two of redress:  their already-accomplished partial race-change shall not stand but shall be reversed as humanely as possible (and there are many “carrot-and-stick,” “push-pull” ways to accomplish that, perfectly humanely, to everyone’s satisfaction).

No, we’re not dead yet.  Yes, we’ve been sucker-punched, kidney-punched, “king-hit” as they say in Oz, when we weren’t looking — when we were sleeping even, those dirty bastards! — and never saw the blow coming (that’s how “democratic” and “fair-play” the other side are).

But we’re still standing.  See, that’s the other side’s problem now, the other side’s worry — that they didn’t take us out completely with that first sucker-punch, that first king-hit when we weren’t looking.  Because now we’re going to sort out who hit us.

Fred,

I’ve just come across this chap, http://cynicuseconomicus.blogspot.com/ I know he is one of many. but there’s something about him that makes me take notice of him.  If only half of what he is saying is approximate then it still scares me to death - check him out.

He is forecasting a hurricane Katrina of a depression, one can easily be had (duped) so easily, especially as I know very little of the economic system, it’s his reference to the rank insanity of it all that appeals to me.

Same over at Auster’s place, he’s got a thread going down about the insanity of the sub-prime business, there is compelling evidence that most of this talking telephone numbers debt is down to liberal agitation for egalitarian home ownership opportunity, even down to giving illegal immigrants mortgages - you couldn’t make it up.

Quoting the article Bill linked:

[Cultural Marxism] denies God, human exceptionalism, and the soul. We are reduced to Darwinian animals floundering in an amoral sea of meaninglessness. It is a product of the nihilistic, existentialist philosophical movement, which went hand in hand with modern art, atonal music, scientific materialism and modern physics, and the generally discordant nature of the twentieth century.

All these same bad ideas can be found within White Nationalism. Just look at Guessedworker.

Oh yes, the other side are soooooooo democratic!  It’s we, not they, WE who are the “fascists” and the totalitarians, for the outrage of wanting workingmen to be allowed to choose their political party.  That’s very “fascistic” you see!  If this keeps up it’ll soon lead to the second coming of Adolf Hitler!  (One can only hope!)
