Slaves to illusion by Grimoire
The movie premiered eleven years ago, and most of us will have seen it. Many remember our thoughts as we sat to the end and then walked out onto the street and had a minute to think. What made this movie so intriguing was the idea that the oppression imposed by the matrix … ‘The Powers That Be’ … was so enormous, so persuasive, so seamless, that for most people the oppression, the matrix of lies, had become as invisible and unnoticed as the air we breathe. It was a reflection of our lives in a movie fun-house mirror. Strangely, it expressed many of our own instincts about our current predicament. That we are enslaved. That the vast majority of people don’t even know they are enslaved ... and worse, don’t seem to care. We sense it … ‘the world that has been pulled over our eyes’ despite the claims about ‘Liberty, Democracy and Free Trade’. We have been born into bondage, the subjects of an experiment, laboratory rats in a cage. Like the movie, we live a alternate reality constructed by God knows who, and implemented by our puppet government. And we are ruled by things that exist only in our minds. Our countries, our economies, our history is in the hands of people who we do not really know, and we suspect that they are not us. The people we should know are everyday being replaced by strangers with strange customs and creeds. They are not us. They are against us.
The fundamental mark of fulfilment, of success in our society, the thing that gets the masses up every morning, is called ‘Consumer Confidence’… to pay our debts and so qualify for more credit. We live for this promise, of credit ... this alternate reality, a control program, a thing that exist only in our minds. Think you are the owner of that house? That car? A citizen in a free country? The parent of those children? You have protected rights? Think again. It is an illusion you enjoy, or not, at their pleasure.
And the things that exist only in our minds … how much of this is a distorted reflection of the essential ethos of our society - that the meaning and value of our lives has become a type of credit instrument, an artificial intelligence that incurs interest ... a host system infected with a virus that speaks and calms you with the words ‘the cheque is in the mail’, while it eats your future and erases your past. Social Engineers tell us that perception is reality. That belief can replace objective truth and become an alternate reality. That society can be strengthened or collapsed simply by encouraging various beliefs regardless whether those beliefs are true or false. And given that lies and fabrications are infinitely more malleable than truth, and hold a wider array of promise for a more divergent and diverse array of people, we can accept it as only natural that those who control our society will base their government on lies. Unlike truth, lies can be whatever you want them to be. Lies are therefore perfect for a society of different peoples with little in common and with different ideas of what is natural truth. Lying becomes the central task of our government … the deciding factor and skill of the politician. The idea of the movie ‘The Matrix’, was that an entire world could be a false reality. A lie that deceived everyone, that made everyone happy, that made everyone get along with one another, except those who suspected the truth. This idea is far from fictional. But once you begin to sense the fictions, sense the matrix, you also begin to see the truth.
In the movie ‘The Matrix’, Neo is jacked out of the matrix and trained to realize himself - to become - the Messiah foretold by prophesy. The tension of the movie arises from the question of whether he is, or is not, THE ONE. Agent Smith is the antithesis that causes the spark to jump from Neo’s becoming, to being. From a slave to illusion to a master of the illusion by virtue of knowledge of the truth. The movie therefore has a promising ending, the saviour has come that will defeat the forces of deception and restore the true world. The audience leaves exhilarated and satisfied. However, this movie by it’s own logic, is a product of the matrix. Not that it doesn’t contain truth. The Matrix by it’s own nature is a reflection, that can reflect whatever you want it to reflect, provided you have the code. The essence of this movie is the central and defining mythos of human history: the knowledge of the matrix. However in the real matrix, the saviour who comes must and will be ourselves. It can be no other way. Each of us individually and collectively, together, are ‘THE ONE’. This is the hidden meaning of the myth. It has always been this way, this is who we are, and have always been. It is, as Agent Smith says, yet does not understand, ‘THE SOUND OF INEVITABILITY’. Despite the danger, turmoil and conflict we face in the future, we have begun to see the truth, we have already won.

Bernays wrote that in 1928. Mind bending has come a long way since then. For me The Matrix movie is the uno-hooze telling us how it is, thus inuring us to how it is. It also allows the frightened who don’t want anyone but the uno-hooze telling them how it is to ridicule others who tell them how it is - “What’s that you say? It’s like a movie?” It has a message for those who would ask awkward questions:
It contains much truth, of that I am sure. But it has not and could never have done us any good. Clever liars reveal as much truth as they can. A fine commentary which I agree with for the most part, but let’s not forget that this myth is from Hollywood 3

I like this part. The lie is malleable. 4
Posted by Guessedworker on Tue, 20 Apr 2010 20:19 | # But let’s not drive in any deeper than it already is the idea that the lie is outside. The lie is inside. And so is the truth. Our freedom from the former is our awakening to the latter. The debate is, or ought to be, about that process. 5
Posted by Revolution Harry on Tue, 20 Apr 2010 22:06 | # It was only a short while after I began investigating, what can be loosely referred to as, the New World Order, World Government, agenda that the stark reality of ‘the Matrix’ began to become clear. For me issues such as mass immigration, multiculturism, political correctness etc have to be seen through the prism of this agenda. Only through defeating it will any salvation of the type sought after on this site be possible. I’d go even further and say that the exposure of the agenda and the lies, hypocrisy, manipulation and brainwashing that go with it will do more to undermine the left, liberal consensus than anything else. They have no idea the extent to which they have been duped or to what ends. In addition to the quotes above by Simon London I’ll add these below. They are by the Fabian Socialist and World Government enthusiast Bertrand Russell. I’m sure you don’t need reminding that the Labour government is dominated by Fabians. Truth be told so are the other major parties. The quotes lay bare the thinking that’s prevalent amongst the elites of this country who are only too happy to enslave us. Can anyone doubt that Russell’s words have guided and influenced the controllers of our society right up to the present day? “Science will be diligently studied, it will be rigidly confined to the governing class. The populace will not be allowed to know how its convictions were generated” in other-words the public will not be allowed to know how it’s beliefs and opinions were scientifically manipulated by the government to think a certain way. “Ordinary men and women will be expected to be docile, industrious, punctual, thoughtless, and contented. Of these qualities probably contentment will be considered the most important. In order to produce it, all the researches of psycho-analysis, behaviourism, and biochemistry will be brought into play.” “...the best system in existence produced Karl Marx. In future such failures are not likely to occur where there is dictatorship. Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible. Even if all are miserable, all will believe themselves happy, because the government will tell them that they are so.” “This consideration brings us naturally to the subject of education, which is the second great method of public propaganda. Education has two very different purposes; on the one hand it aims at developing the individual and giving him knowledge which will be useful to him; on the other hand it aims at producing citizens who will be convenient for the State or the Church which is educating them. Up to a point these two purposes coincide in practice: it is convenient to the State that citizens should be able to read, and that they should possess some technical skill in virtue of which they are able to do productive work; it is convenient that they should possess sufficient moral character to abstain from unsuccessful crime, and sufficient intelligence to be able to direct their own lives. But when we pass beyond these elementary requirements, the interests of the individual may often conflict with those of the State or the Church. This is especially the case in regard to credulity. To those who control publicity, credulity is an advantage, while to the individual a power of critical judgment is likely to be beneficial; consequently the State does not aim at producing a scientific habit of mind, except in a small minority of experts, who are well paid, and therefore, as a rule, supporters of the status quo. Among those who are not well paid credulity is more advantageous to the State; consequently children in school are taught what they are told and are punished if they express disbelief. In this way a conditioned reflex is established, leading to a belief in anything said authoritatively by elderly persons of importance.” “On the whole, at present in education, the form of loyalty to the State which is most emphasized is hostility to its enemies.” http://revolutionharry.blogspot.com/2009/12/scientific-manipulation-of-our-reality.html 6

Do you mean that truth is determined within? The X Files TV series (never watched it of course) seems to me designed to capture certain sections of those beginning to sense that something is wrong, and control and dissipate their spirit of inquiry. I feel sure that the catch line: “The truth is out there!” was carefully chosen to direct attention toward the outside, and away from the inside. @top And don’t get me started on “Star Trek”... 7

It is known within, but this is a question of consciousness, not thought.
Everything authored by Jews that touches on the existence of our people can be examined only for fingerprints. That is always the first thing to do. One print and we know we can never place full trust in the signal. 8
Posted by Gorboduc on Wed, 21 Apr 2010 00:43 | # @GW: 100% with you on this. But we don’y need films, TV etc to help us break through to the truth. The whole media/entertainment industry is part of the facade of untruth, and that includes the makers of these films. No-one, but no-one is EVER going to discover essential truths in the way laid out by the Matrix series - pills *), dimension shifts, dark glasses,. dark suits**) computer-generated SFX and all the rest of the paraphernalia. Therefore these films merely transpose the illusion into another key. The “real” world as depicted in them is just as illusory as the “false” one. The “liberation” portrayed in them is also illusory. These films can only decant you from one prison to another. I noticed years ago that come conspiracy theorist were peddling their favourite notions as if they were some sort of pornography - “You won’t believe thus!” “You will be utterly shocked!” “The full jaw-dropping story!”. The Matrix movies don’t even serve a useful purpose as allegories of discovery. They set up their own virtual reality studio of illusion, and may even, imho, inoculate people AGAINST the discovery of truth. Those reviewers - largely Christian - who treated the films as expositions of a sort of gnostic “illumination” were on the right track: the “liberation” promised is deceptive. *) Acid-heads in the 60’s used to claim the same sort of liberation as a result of a good trip. **) It’s all MIB stuff really: do the “illuminated” recognise each other on the street by means of their clothes? Well, Goths, trainspotters and footie enthusiasts do . . 9
Posted by Grimoire on Wed, 21 Apr 2010 06:05 | # @GW: You are right in that we cannot put our full trust in any external signal. We must be the actors in the interests of our race, and not leave action or truth to messiahs. Yet it must be seen that there is information in everything. It is the mind of the observer that distills truth from lies.
“In the liturgy of the alchemical wedding of opposites, whose patron deity is Janus, the two-faced god of schizophrenia, it is necessary that the truth be told at least once, to all present. After which, those officiating are free to lie with impunity, without fear of “sow-and-reap” repercussions, or blowback. This is a function of the alchemy that is the Revelation of the Method.” For the misinformation placed in the movie ‘The Matrix’ to be accepted, common truth must be expressed as inspired myths or ‘secret’ or ‘hidden knowledge’, and the duties of the common man taken up by archetypes or messiahs. The same treatment was by necessity applied to Christianity, as shown by it’s use of the metaphor. It is called ‘secret knowledge’ as an alibi for ignoring what is in front of you for all time. Unless it is suddenly termed ‘hidden’, the mind has no mechanism to suddenly admit what the eye see’s.
The movie ‘The Matrix’ was a commercially funded, yet independent movie that was produced and backed by jews (Joel Silver etc.) who have history of manipulative and forensic productions, (such as the series ‘La Femme Nikita’ and ‘24’ among others). Nonetheless they have compellingly told a story that touches the core of our dilemma - revelation and victory over the Matrix. Victory and revelation over the Matrix may mean different things to different people…. for some control, for some enjoyment… for us, destruction…..of the Matrix. That the movie served all these interests explains it’s great success. And there is much to learn from it. People ‘think’ they are not controlled because “misinformation” does not alter our ability to think, it only alters the result. 10
Posted by Revolution Harry on Wed, 21 Apr 2010 21:30 | # Whilst the film may not be an accurate depiction of ‘the Matrix’ we live in it still serves as a useful metaphor. The gulf between what we believe the world is and the harsh reality of what it actually is, is huge. It’s more than a little bewildering to learn that democracy is just one more farm management system easily manipulated by our owners to suit their purposes. Our history is a lie (we’ve been here much longer than they claim), the banking system a scam of colossal proportions, most if not all wars funded and manipulated by the ‘elites’ to serve their agenda and so much more. Multiculturalism, mass immigration and political correctness are all elements of the transition from national farm management systems to a global one. http://revolutionharry.blogspot.com/2010/03/left-wing-dupes.html http://revolutionharry.blogspot.com/2010/04/story-of-your-enslavement.html http://revolutionharry.blogspot.com/2010/04/real-truth-concerning-how-earth-is.html 11

Posted by Revolution Harry on Sun, 25 Apr 2010 20:47 | # The quote from Chesterton does hint at the way our media is controlled and used against us but, from what I’ve learned, this is only one part of a much larger control system. On the subject of the media those of you on MR may enjoy this article on the Hidden Evil website. Here’s a sample: Sutton and Wood warned, “Anyone in the U.S. who promotes unwelcome news for the elite receives some unwelcome attention in return.” This attention includes the use of experts, mainstream media and anti-hate organizations for well-coordinated character assassination. According to author Perloff, a document released by the House Committee on Un-American Activities, on September 23, 1956 entitled, Propaganda and the Alert Citizen outlined the tactics reportedly used by the Establishment to discredit opposition. Quoting from this document, Perloff wrote, “The tactic used had a prototype in a directive issued by the Communist Party… It read: When certain obstructionists become too irritating, label them, after suitable build-ups, as Fascist or Nazi or anti-Semitic, and use the prestige of anti-Fascist and tolerance organizations to discredit them. ... In the public mind constantly associate those who oppose us with those names which already have a bad smell. It’s worth bearing in mind that ‘Communism’ was itself a creation of the elites. Except the bad agents in Matrix looked Germanic, surely meant to mimic SS officers. The good guys were a multicultural group trying to bring down the system - led by black guys and jews. Let’s face it as far as we are concerned even the movie Matrix is part of the real Matrix we face.
