Also notice that Collett is proposing this traditional, paleoconservatism (Abrahamic jurisdiction) as integrative force as opposed to “multiculturalim.”

What faith does in such a circumstance, of course, is to go to other totems, in particular political totems. The modern political right, because it has lost so much of its deeply conservative and patriotic sense, has nothing to say to the post-Christian young. But the modern political left does.
I would like to say to Mark that nationalists must make the case for the sacredness of our homeland and its soil, the sacredness of our kind, the sacredness of our children, who are our future, the sacredness of our being and of our care for that being. This is what nationalism offers the faith-driven among us, who are lost to the practise of Christianity, such as it is today.
