Heynow! first post here. I got mine deleted on TG… It was about an hour ago 1pm EST and was about the Japs not looting their own. The strange thing is I was defending minorities… I think? Here was the original. My laptop deletes posts all the time so I write them in my email account first… LOL, honestly I can’t spell worth a damn.

Looting has nothing to do with nationality, lack of nationalism, or race and everything to do with the looters state of mind and a willingness to take something for nothing. The biggest looters in the history of the world were white nationalist Soviet communists. The second biggest were the Naz1’s again white nationalist socialists (leftwingers). It has to do with jealousy, hate, and lack of respect for oneself entirely. US Democrats have always been willing to do anything for a vote they practice racism to guarantee their votes and they instituted Jim Crow laws and the KKK for just that purpose. When the Republicans started winning down south on merit, the writing was on the wall, they looked for new voters (minorities) and instituted more race based laws like Affirmative Action (*MLK was a Republican). The grand plan was to create a class system in the US like the slavery one that was slowly being replaced. It has worked better than dreamed with 95% of blacks blindly voting democrat with little hope of them getting a good education and seeing the ride they are being taken on. Liberals group them in cities with handouts, corrupt their education system with unions, and invite them (via community organizers) to huge hate filled rallies to get them all on the same page. Bitter and resentful. These are the same tricks that all the other socialists/communists used throughout recent history but nobody teaches this in history class anymore because the books are re-written. Find an undereducated population, make them believe they are being repressed unfairly, and promise them free stuff (loot or entitlements) it sounds childish but it has always worked.

I will keep checking in for a few days. I like your idea. I don’t post on the Telegraph very frequently but use other sites. Jeremy invited me here, and I did like his posts. Take care. below is another post on that same topic about the lack of looting in Japan.

    After Katrina there were large communities of Vietnamese who were just as poor before the flood and just as wiped out after as any other community there. They didn’t loot at all and rebuilt their communities within months without much government help. They were largely Catholic and Buddhist so it wasn’t the same religion. I remember one individual said it was no big deal for his family. Growing up in Vietnam before the war, his family often had its houses washed away during the rainy season and they would simply rebuild without question and reap the benefits of the refreshed soil after floods for their new crops. They rebuilt so fast that they didn’t qualify for the crazy and corrupt government handouts. I saw the story and was shocked because nobody had moved back to that area yet and there was little infrastructure, but there they were. Block upon block of newly painted rebuilt houses surrounded by destruction to the nearby homeowners who fled and were living in some other city (living in free hotels with stipend checks and getting arrested for smoking crack). These people had propane stoves, huge coolers and generators and were already back home, feeling secure and proud. In the L.A. Riots I can remember similar groups sitting on the roofs of their businesses with guns trying to protect their property to no avail. This also takes place every time a socialist/communist government is installed all over the world. Rome (looting), Russia 1920 (looting) Germany 1933 (looting) Cuba 1959 (looting) Every country in Central and South America 1830-present (looting) Egypt 2011 (looting). A big reason is because their political party of choice loves to practice class warfare to gain political power and votes, which destroys their respect for property rights and those that worked hard to earn it (think liberals). People who think every Egyptian getting the vote should be concerned. Thomas Jefferson warned about this and advocated a Republic rather than Democracy for the USA because all democracies quickly failed when voters realized they could vote themselves wealth (mob rule). Can you think of a successful republic or democracy since 1776?
    People today don’t realize how cancerous giving and taking handouts (entitlements) are to the human psyche. Had that not been the case how come the Soviets fell apart? Unions do the same thing to their people (think that angry guy holding the sign on strike yelling about conservatives like he really hates them) The more we give unearned compensation to people the more disenfranchised, entitled, and dependant they become. 50 years ago there were just a few people wandering around US cities, usually due to a mental problem but today we have upwards of 15% who have never had or tried to get a job and we cry that we need illegal immigrants to come work because “we” won’t do it? 50% of Americans pay no taxes because their income isn’t high enough. How can they have a dog in the race if they don’t pay into it? Something like 40% of American qualify for some type of government entitlement today. Humans don’t function well with this kind of option and the group will continue to grow as who ever is near this point, fighting for a living every day, will one day have a low point and ask themselves. Why do I work hard for a house, food, healthcare, even a car when I can simply stay home and get all that for free plus a monthly check to boot? We have a whole generation that know as long as they don’t get a legitimate job, don’t get married, and pop out as many kids as they can then our government will take care of them. That is why they loot.

Gumbojuice is playing the Horus the Avenger, Bob Whittaker tactic—constantly staying on a consistent line, tweaking the words a little to tailor it to different comments, like the mantra.  I think it is effective and anyone can do it.

It is also good to see racism is fading as a the boogie man deterrent it used to be.

Excellent idea, GW.  At that DT thread that Jeremy linked to, all the highest-rated comments have been deleted (at least, in the first dozen or so pages).  Many of the replies to them are still there, and later posters are asking “can anybody tell me what the original comment was about?”. 

If we had a place where we could see the original comments, the censors might be a little less free with the cuts.  There’d be less point in it, wouldn’t there?  Plus, it would draw more like-minded readers to your excellent site.
