I no longer celebrate the fourth. For me it is a day of mourning.

There were illustrious British commanders of Protestant Scots / Irish descent . There were also distinguished Anglo / Irish senior officers too .  From memory : Viscount Montgomery , Earl Alexander and Lord Alanbrooke .

  My favourite is the indigenous Irish RC great grandfather (  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Roddy )  of my longtime Tanglin club drinking partner .

For the American South, this means speaking to them on their terms, Protestant/Biblical terms.

For the American South, their faith is an identity that supersedes this dying empire.

Dixie’s insight is an example of the Putin/Russian doctrine of multipolarity.

Greece for the Greek
Russia for the Russians
China for the Chinese
Samoa for the Samoans
Italy for the Italians
Appalachia for the ScotsIrish
etc….

There is a solid Biblical argument for this doctrine; there is no biblical doctrine for loyalty to Sodom on the Potomac.
The approach avoids the category of the mind that is “White” and uses the category of the mind that is Protestantism.

Yesterday, while I was ferrying an Italian businessman around the country, I found myself arguing for the unification of Ireland, and explaining that the Scots-Irish of the North should leave the country and return to Scotland rather than hold Westminster to ransom for the rest of time.  Their position is untenable just on the basis that demographics and the Catholic family will defeat them anyway, and the tipping point is more or less here.  Sinn Fein is already the largest party (not currently sitting) at Stormont.  There can never be a return to Unionist rule.  Let them come home and restore conservatism to the Scottish party political scene.  Let the Irish live as they will.

Not sure what my Italian colleague, who is from Milan, made of this.  But he has been a northern separatist in the past, was a Berlusconi supporter, and is now very much a supporter of Georgia Meloni (likes everything about her except her coarse Roman accent).

The Irish Republic’s raison d’etre was Roman Catholicism as a National Religion . Now , in Dublin , were I to stroll around with a banner bearing the legend ” Brits Out Of All Ireland ” , I would doubtless garner much approbation and a tolerant nod from the Gardai patrol.

Contrarywise , were I, in Dublin, to sport a banner with the sensible message of ” All Africans Out Of Ireland, ”  I’d quickly find myself in durance vile.

I am a serious man who sees the world differently than you do. If serious means limiting myself to your worldview, then to hell with serious; if you intend to beat me, then beat me, but nothing you have thrown my way merits special consideration—especially your damn peach.

The RC Church is Universal and , message - wise , its natural outgrowth , human (((Equality))) ,paved the way , in a residual atavistic way, for the current nugatory resistance to the invasion of White homelands.

Human (((Equality))) is not a thing, except in the sense that before almighty God all are equally damned absent God’s intervention within us.
Heaven is full of Hierarchy, the God’s Church is Hierarchical, the monarchy was not about Equality. You see the failed principles of your damned modernism and blame God and me for it.
I blame the modernists…actually, it is deeper than that. God, through his permissive will sometimes gives evil free reign; He does this to sift men, and to refine them.

Look around you; do you not see a sifting and refinement? Was not covid and the Bourla’s damn vaccines a crime against humanity? Did you not see the depressingly vanishing small number of men and women who would not wear the mask, who would not take the jab?  Who among the two groups are the Kings, Queens, Princes and Knights of humanity? Not your damn English king, but he abdicated the Faith, so his cowardice and uselessness is to be expected (exactly the phenomena that has happened to the formerly American republic).

If I read Jones history of philosophy correctly, then (((equality))) was your doing, materialist…possibly of the enlightenment philosophers.  I too see the invasions as the acts of war that they are.

If you are going to comment on Catholicism, be a serious man have the basic politeness to learn the oppositions reasoning on their terms; this was and is the discipline of the Scholastic Philosophers. Do the basic research and learn its tenets. Spirago’s Catechism is an easy start. Jones section on St. Augustine demonstrates the intellectual seriousness of our men.

GW, if there is to be any kind of territorial reclamation, it will have to be on the basis of a military command structure because politics have proven a con game.  Certainly, the history of the Scots-Irish is militant enough, up to recent history.  The author of the book “Born Fighting” and the OP video, James Henry Webb, Jr. has the right background, but he’s getting up in years and the US military has been getting purged from the top down under the onslaught of immigration’s demographic shift of the Presidency.  Webb was actually in the running for the 2016 Presidency and scared the Democrats almost as much as did Trump the Republicans.  It scared them enough that the Smithsonian Institution removed its video production of “Born Fighting” from their channel.  You can only get Part 2, about the founding of the US, by used DVD from rare and used booksellers.  The ebay price is hundreds of dollars.

Try to keep in mind as you read this WSJ OpEd that Webb was polling 3rd for the 2016 Presidential nomination for the Democrats:

In addition, more frequent racial intermarriage has blurred the data further, and will continue to do so.

In short, the discussion is mired in the biracial dialogue of the 1960s, while our challenges have become multicultural and mixed with reverse discrimination. Many people who want to remedy this voted for Mr. Trump. One can hope his administration will seek policies to reduce racial tensions and increase fairness for all Americans.
