The DT reports as breaking news:

Elon Musk has made a $43bn takeover offer for Twitter at $54.30 a share in cash.

The offer is a 54pc premium to its closing price on January 28 before he started buying shares.

The move comes after the Telsa founder was revealed to be Twitter’s biggest shareholder with a 9.2pc holding earlier this month.

Shares in Twitter rose 12pc in pre-market trading to $51.30.

Musk is widely understood to be a free speech advocate.  It seems that we are going to find out how free.

Well, Musk won.  What happens now?  I don’t think Twitter will become an open range for aggressive WN lowlifes.  Musk is interested in the free exchange of opinion and ideas.  He is not interested in breaking national laws or in turning his new investment into a hate-fest.  He will publish rules and apply them in due course.  Moderation will not be political, but it will be there, and those users who insist on mouthing off will still have their accounts closed.

I have a Twitter account I’ve never used.  Maybe it’s the moment to activate it.

It’s way too early to get a firm grip on the impact to our culture the takeover of Twitter will have. It’s possible this may turn out to be a flash in the pan, i.e., a temporary feel-good event that’ll amount to little difference in affecting the course of future events. I hope my suspicions are wrong but being wrong is rare for me. I have a 98.376% accuracy rating

Musk has stated that he wants Twitter accounts authenticated, which would mean that nationalists who value their freedom, peace, and employment may not feel able to return to the platform.  Trump has also said that he won’t return (because he has made his own platform).  So “the new Twitter” may not turn out to be totally different to the old one.

Twitter’s former CEO, Dorsey, recommended competition between filter algorithms based on Wolfram’s testimony before Congress (2019) that placed a higher priority on filter competition than open sourcing the filter algorithm (as recommended by Musk).

That was basically outlined in my 1982 essay —you just replace “editorial staffs” with “algorithms” (and replace direct user specifications of logical combination operations with “follow” clicks, etc.):

The question at hand is this: How do we mold the early videotex environment so that noise is suppressed without limiting the free flow of information between customers?

The first obstacle is, of course, legal. As the knights of U.S. feudalism, corporate lawyers have a penchant for finding ways of stomping out innovation and diversity in any way possible. In the case of videotex, the attempt is to keep feudal control of information by making videotex system ownership imply liability for information transmitted over it. For example, if a libelous communication takes place, corporate lawyers for the plaintiff will bring suit against the carrier rather than the individual responsible for the communication. The rationalizations for this clearly unreasonable and contrived position are quite numerous. Without a common carrier status, the carrier will be treading on virgin ground legally and thus be unprotected by precedent. Indeed, the stakes are high enough that the competitor could easily afford to fabricate an event ideal for the purposes of such a suit. This means the first legal precedent could be in favor of holding the carrier responsible for the communications transmitted over its network, thus forcing (or giving an excuse for) the carrier to inspect, edit and censor all communications except, perhaps, simple person-to-person or “electronic mail”. This, in turn, would put editorial control right back in the hands of the feudalists. Potential carriers’ own lawyers are already hard at work worrying everyone about such a suit. They would like to win the battle against diversity before it begins. This is unlikely because videotex is still driven by technology and therefore by pioneers.

The question then becomes: How do we best protect against such “legal” tactics? The answer seems to be an early emphasis on secure identification of the source of communications so that there can be no question as to the individual responsible. This would preempt an attempt to hold the carrier liable. Anonymous communications, like Delphi conferencing, could even be supported as long as some individual would be willing to attach his/her name to the communication before distributing it. This would be similar, legally, to a “letters to the editor” column where a writer remains anonymous. Another measure could be to require that only individuals of legal age be allowed to author publishable communications. Yet another measure could be to require anyone who wishes to write and publish information on the network to put in writing, in an agreement separate from the standard customer agreement, that they are liable for any and all communications originating under their name on the network. This would preempt the “stolen password” excuse for holding the carrier liable.

Beyond the secure identification of communication sources, there is the necessity of editorial services. Not everyone is going to want to filter through everything published by everyone on the network. An infrastructure of editorial staffs is that filter. In exchange for their service the editorial staff gets to promote their view of the world and, if they are in enough demand, charge money for access to their list of approved articles. On a videotex network, there is little capital involved in establishing an editorial staff. All that is required is a terminal and a file on the network which may have an intrinsic cost as low as $5/month if it represents a publication with “only” around 100 articles. The rest is up to the customers. If they like a publication, they will read it. If they don’t they won’t. A customer could ask to see all articles approved by staffs A or B inclusive, or only those articles approved by both A and B, etc. This sort of customer selection could involve as many editorial staffs as desired in any logical combination. An editorial staff could review other editorial staffs as well as individual articles, forming hierarchies to handle the mass of articles that would be submitted every day. This sort of editorial mechanism would not only provide a very efficient way of filtering out poor and questionable communications without inhibiting diversity, it would add a layer of liability for publications that would further insulate carriers from liability and therefore from a monopoly over communications.

In general, anything that acts to filter out bad information and that is not under control of the carrier, acts to prevent the carrier from monopolizing the evolution of ideas on the network.

The issue of anonymous communications will, under Musk’s Twitter, most likely end up using my above suggestion where anyone who is verified can, in effect, publish a “letter to the editor” by an anonymous party—acting as “the editor”—taking responsibility for it under law.

Basically, I think Musk is heading in the right direction even though Section 230 has been applied to Twitter and, in theory, would protect him against the attack I predicted above.  Section 230 was never meant to be applied to monopolies yet it was when it came to the enemies of the people controlling those monopolies.  Now that that bluff is called by Musk, people are already calling for Section 230 to be thrown out the window in the case of Twitter.  So he may have foreseen this and already laid out a strategy to simply rely on law enforcement to “moderate” speech—as I originally intended.

As far as Trump is concerned, that piece of shit had his chance to call in the chips on Section 230 when he had the Justice Department and the Supreme Court to enforce the 1st Amendment.  He didn’t and he got fried along with the rest of Western Civilization—as now appears likely with the Swarm To Armageddon.  Musk may be too late.

Solid Take from Glenn Greenwald on Elon Musk Motives and Purchase of Twitter
April 26, 2022 | Sundance

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson previewed a discussion with Glenn Greenwald that will appear in full tomorrow on Fox Nation.  In this segment {Direct Rumble Link Here} Greenwald gives his perspective on the motives of Elon Musk purchasing Twitter.

Greenwald does a good job encapsulating the essential support most feel for the Musk effort.  There are many people still uncertain about how this will all roll out, and Musk has been favorable to Big Govt in his two most famous endeavors, Tesla and SpaceX.  Elon Musk’s phase of pushing back against speech and internet control is more recent, and as a result has left many people wondering about it.

As Greenwald notes, there really isn’t a downside for people who are trying to break the totalitarian and monopoly control systems on the internet.  The upside benefits to on-line freedom, debate, discussion and the first real effort to stop internet censorship are well worth supporting.  Greenwald eloquently puts an appropriate context to the battle.

Kevin MacDonald Interview Regarding Musk Twitter Buyout

Interesting discussion there, James.

What the topics reminded me of is what I already deduced: that if the enemies of white ppl—namely Jews—wanted to decimate the white population of the planet, what quicker way would there be to do it than instigate a nuclear war between Russia and the EU/USA? The facts are clear that that’s exactly where this Ukraine/Russia conflict is leading to. What’s to stop it? The Western “leaders” are committed to reducing Russia to a third-rate power. Moreover, the proud patriotic Russians would rather martyr themselves than be subservient to the morally bankrupt West.

Bottom line,
Thanks to Jewish vengeance fueled by paranoia, whites are on the brink of extinction via the real possibility of all out nuclear war.

Re: Cui Bono nuclear war, I think it will probably be fatal to Jews—which is why I believe their virulence may be the result of poor evolutionary medical public hygiene by their diaspora hosts.  The fact that the CCP may be well positioned to benefit from a Russia vs “West” nuclear conflict has bolstered my hypothesis, stated here at MR over a decade ago, that China may have recognized this about Jews and done a “gain of function” program on that pathogen endemic to the West (as I discussed with KMac).  There were a couple of interesting comments left on my blog on why the Chinese won the cold war, posted in response to the KMac interview:

I tried to send the following partially redacted comment to you under your most recent YT video, but YT censored it (before and after I reproduced and redacted it). Hopefully this site, which has the same owners, will “let” it through. I’ve kept the partial redactions in place.

Begin censored YT comment:

You should read D-ggy_D-g1208 (anonymous T—tter troll, replace - with o). He’s an Ivy League educated engineer who went to work on Wall St. and likes to brag about his career of moving manufacturing jobs from the U.S. to Ch-na. He then moved to work in H-ng K-ng and is very pro-Ch-na, including its ruling party. He claims that he and his Ind—n classmate suppressed their wh-te classmates’ STEM performance and ambitions by being rac—lly identifiable cognitive elites and being a-h-les about it. Among his other interesting claims are that As-an STEM talent didn’t add to the pool in the U.S., but displaced it. His evidence is that MIT and Caltech are now 50% and 65% As-an, respectively, and indicative, yet patents filed in the U.S. are flattish. He posits his anecdotal dynamic writ large as the mechanism for this displacement (compare to Ch-nese patents). Furthermore, he claims that Ch-na will surpass the U.S. as a great power due to superior numbers and national loyalty of its STEM graduates. He also claims that Ch-na’s GDP already greatly surpasses that of the U.S. if one strips out services (which he says one ought to). He likes to troll davidpg-ldman (T—tter handle aka “Sp-ngler” of As-a Times) and tells him to give up on conservative Am—ican go-s and join Ch-na. G-ldman is one of those pro-L-kud, pro-Tr—p J—s who recognizes the damage the n—c-ns have done to Am—ica. Interestingly though, before he was outed as the man behind “Sp-ngler” he seemed to revel in the decline of the W-st in the pages of As-a Times. D-ggy_D-g1208 also claims that Ch-na is quite pleased with Am—ican authors providing their readers with “c-pium” regarding Ch-na’s rise: the better to continue to rise as stealthily as possible. This raises a question for me: why gloat? Perhaps it’s a guilty conscience, or a fait accompli in his view, or an attempt at optimal timing of further demoralization, or he finds it stimulating to taunt his en-my (who provided him with an Ivy League education), or he figures he has a tiny audience so why not vent a little. This is a pretty accurate compression of what I wanted you to read, so you can skip it to save time, unless you want to check for yourself. And of course it’s only “a data point”, but a fairly high dimensional one in my view.

I greatly appreciate the trouble you went to and the high salience of your data point. This is the kind of thing a functional intelligence community and national security apparatus would have seen coming decades before it ever became manifest, and taken action commensurate with the threat—which is greater than any so-called “weapons of mass destruction”.

Thanks for the forum allowing me to speak what de juris ought to be legal, but de facto apparently is not, at least on some platforms. There are a lot of tangents I could go off on from my initial comment, but I’ll mention two “quick” ones that interest me. One is the idea that part of the current Ukraine operation is designed to mine European genius ore by getting Europe into an existential military contest (real or perceived being functionally equivalent) via NATO, as a workaround to a demoralized and largely absent Euro-American STEM workforce and an Asian workforce that might not be motivated to work on weapons aimed at their co-ethnics (or might not be seen as loyal). An operation as big as this is likely to be used to organize society, as 9/11 was, in as many ways as deemed necessary or possible. Getting guys who are able, willing, and trustworthy enough to design and build next generation weapons systems for major NATO arms manufacturers, principally located in the US, seems like a good move from the point of view of US military-technical leaders. But I also suspect this whole operation could have undesirable consequences for some Russia hawks (the usual suspects). Creating a militant consciousness in Europe directed at an ethnic other while creating a vast workforce of white male geniuses whose job it is to optimize the violent deaths of that other will eventually rub up against the fact that European cities are becoming less and less livable. Yet attacking Russia itself will remain obviously suicidal. The propaganda designed to throw water on that surface of friction will be predictably awful: think Hidden Figures saving Europe from Dolph Lundgren types. As susceptible to propaganda as current Europeans are, it might work too, which is why I sometimes think realistic better case scenarios all involve losing Cold War 2. Say what one will about how damaging to Russia the Soviet Union collapsing was, but it did effectively allow them to “run a fever”, creating their current nationalist/natalist society (with a serious and sufficiently intelligent person at the helm). Of course America might be a “last stand” in a way that the Soviet Union was not (for those obliquely implicated via analogy).

The other thing I wanted to point you to, is the following interesting page, which I visited after reading David Goldman’s wiki page, which stated he was on the board of advisors.

https://sino-israel.org/about/

I’m not sure how well the outreach is going given China’s positions on Russia, Iran, the US, etc. But it’s interesting that an attempt is being made (I would expect no less).

Jews are a dying breed, (I know it and they know it) ... but being the paranoids they are, one of the central goals before they die-out is to set in motion a genocidal process against their perceived enemy - viz Euro-Christians. It’s all about Jews’ vengeance, IMHO. Victoria Nuland is a prime example of that mindset. George Soros is another. So many more examples can be named….

China is experiencing a population collapse. They may enjoy dominance for the next two centuries or so, but demographic projections indicate 500 years for now Earth will be a negro planet.

I’ve previously commented here on African <- Chinese <- Jewish <- European food chain,  however, for some reason, the search engines don’t find it.

In any event, the African apex predator directly feeds on all of the rest (as well as indirectly) and does so exclusively by what might be called population digestion reminiscent of an algae mat that envelops and digests nutrients.  The Chinese mesopredator relies much more on social engineering—in this case engineering Jewish virulence through a kind of “gain of function” to more rapidly decay the most individualistic of all peoples, Europeans, making it them easier prey.

The Chinese abandoned their age of exploration and burned their ships when a eunuch brought back a bunch of Africans—which terminated the deadly embrace between African elites and those to whom they sold African slaves to the rest of the world via Jews.  That wise move by the Chinese put them in a position for world domination today, at least until their Belt and Road initiative in Africa exposes them to Africans.

Lest people think I’m indulging in Black Pilling here—or am somehow contradicting my own valorization of individualism—think for a moment what would happen if Europeans were to adopt this world view.

We need to burn down the village in order to save the village.

The swarm is exercising every option in its attempt to metastasize the anti-white virus.

Hopefully Dr. Valadimir Putin—under the direction of God—administers the proper dose of chemotherapy to evil cities such as Brussels, DC, London, Paris, Berlin, San Francisco. Chicago, and NYC. That’d be a good start to cure the sickness that is directed at us normal white ppl.
