Morrissey reaffirms support for Ethno-National party, claims ‘everyone prefers their own race.’

Singer railed against the British media

...and praised For Britain leader Anne Marie Waters

Independent, 25 June 2019:

Morrissey has reaffirmed his support for the Ethno-Nationalist, anti-Islam party For Britain and suggested that Nigel Farage “would make a good prime minister”.

The singer, who faced criticism after wearing a For Britain badge on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, responded to the backlash in an interview conducted by his nephew, Sam Etsy Rayner, and posted on his own website.

“The UK is a dangerously hateful place now, and I think we need someone to put a stop to the lunacy and to speak for everyone,” he said. “I see [For Britain leader] Anne Marie Waters as this person. She is extremely intelligent, ferociously dedicated to this country, she is very engaging, and also very funny at times.”

When asked about how he felt at being called a racist for various controversial comments he has made in the past, he responded: “If you call someone racist in modern Britain you are telling them that you have run out of words. You are shutting the debate down and running off. The word is meaningless now. Everyone ultimately prefers their own race … does this make everyone racist?”

Morrissey has faced criticism over previous comments about race, which include describing the Chinese as a “subspecies” and claiming “halal slaughter requires certification that can only be given by supporters of Isis”

For Britain leader Anne Marie Waters has posted a message thanking Morrissey for his support

“Thank you, Morrissey. I hope to meet you one day”

NME, 21 May 2019:

For Britain leader Anne Marie Waters has posted a message thanking Morrissey for his support of the controversial nationalist party.

The former Smiths frontman has made headlines recently after he was seen sporting a For Britain badge while on tour in the US, before also wearing one while performing on Jimmy Fallon on US TV.

The nationalist party was founded by the anti-Islam activist Anne Marie Waters after she was defeated in the 2017 UKIP leadership election. The controversy and association for Morrissey began when he discussed accusations of racism and alleged connections between Halal meat and ISIS. He also said that London Mayor Sadiq Khan “can not talk properly”. He later issued a new statement in which he said he “despised racism and fascism” and voiced his support for Muslims, while also advocating For Britain.

Now, Waters has shared a new message of gratitude for the singer on Youtube: “Thank you so much for your support since the UKIP leadership election,” she said. “Thank you for giving us so much publicity.”

She continued: “I can tell you that the traffic to our website exploded with the story breaking of you wearing the For Britain button badge, which you have been wearing everywhere from what I can see. We have sold out of those, but the good news is we have more, and they have been selling like hot cakes, so thank you very much for doing that.”

Waters added: “Thank you, Morrissey. I hope to meet you one day. Thank you, Daily Mail. Keep up the hysterical smearing. It’s having the opposite effect. You are driving people to us.”

Explaining his support of For Britain last year, Morrissey said that he followed them as they were an upset to the status quo of Conservative and Labour governments. He strongly denied accusations of racism.

“I have been following a new party called For Britain which is led by Anne Marie Waters,” said Morrissey. “It is the first time in my life that I will vote for a political party.

Finally I have hope. I find the Tory-Labour-Tory-Labour constant switching to be pointless.

“For Britain has received no media support and have even been dismissed with the usual childish ‘racist’ accusation. I don’t think the word ‘racist’ has any meaning any more, other than to say “you don’t agree with me, so you’re a racist.” People can be utterly, utterly stupid.”

Calling for more free speech in the political realm, Morrissey continued: “Anne Marie Waters seeks open discussion about all aspects of modern Britain, whereas other parties will not allow diverse opinion. She is like a humane version of Thatcher … if such a concept could be. She is absolute leadership, she doesn’t read from a script, she believes in British heritage, freedom of speech, and she wants everyone in the UK to live under the same law.

He added: “I know the media don’t want Anne Marie Waters and they try to smear her, but they are wrong and they should give her a chance, and they should stop accusing people who want open debate as being ‘racist’. As I said previously, the left has become right-wing and the right-wing has become left – a complete switch, and this is a very unhappy modern Britain.”

Many took to Twitter to criticise Morrissey’s support of For Britain after he was seen wearing their badge.

“My former friend sporting a For Britain badge, a party violently anti-Islam, filled with ex-BNP and ex-EDL, pro-privatisation, far right and prone to exploiting tragedies to disseminate divisive anti-immigrant rhetoric online,” wrote journalist Dave Haslam on Twitter, sharing the image. “What happened to ‘It takes guts to be gentle and kind’?”

Morrissey will release his new covers album ‘California Son‘ on Friday May 25.

Flying while Asian: Apparently more difficult than it would appear!

Posted by Kumiko Oumae on Friday, 18 December 2015 22:20.

How many times have we heard from liberals that racial profiling is not only the worst thing ever, but also that in the present year we shouldn’t let age-old racial prejudices influence decisions about security and law enforcement?

Apparently that maxim of theirs only applies when it’s time for liberals to defend Arab Muslims.

It certainly doesn’t form any part of their calculus when dealing with East Asians, who they seem to know how to do the grossest and crudest profiling against with the straightest of faces:

BBC Newsbeat, ‘K-Pop group Oh My Girl detained at LA airport on suspicion of being sex workers’, 11 December 2015 (emphasis added):

Oh My Girl
Oh My Girl.

A pop group has flown back to South Korea after officials in Los Angeles thought they might be sex workers.

The eight members were travelling to America for an album cover shoot but were detained for 15 hours in customs.

A statement from the group’s record company, WM Entertainment, said authorities held them after going through their costumes and props.

“They seem to have mistaken them as sex workers,” said a spokesman.

Oh My Girl, who formed in March, are thought to be back in South Korean capital Seoul after being released by officials at Los Angeles International Airport.

WM Entertainment says it is taking legal advice in the US to find out whether the band’s detention was legal.

The record company also said there might have been an issue with the type of visa the band members presented.

They had also been booked to perform at a gala event in Los Angeles on Saturday.

It’s unclear if they will try to return to America to complete their album cover shoot.

Oh My Girl (or OMG) brought their debut single Cupid out in April with a second mini-album and title track Closer released in October.

The band members are all aged between 16 and 21.

South Korean pop music, known as K-pop, is dominated by girl and boy bands whose members are often in their teens, although most are older.

In 2012, the South Korean government clamped down on over-sexualised performances by threatening to give higher age ratings to films, music videos and TV shows which exaggerated the sexuality of younger singers and bands.

It’s almost as though the only way to get into western liberal countries these days, is to make sure that you are an Arab Muslim with extremist Islamist beliefs.
