Beijing blocks the HK exodus.  Hopefully.

Posted by Guessedworker on Friday, 29 January 2021 16:49.

China will no longer recognise the British National Overseas passport.  So it’s 2.9 million citizens in Hong Kong citizens, all of them invited to come and settle in Britain from this Sunday but “only” 300,000 anticipated to do so, won’t be able to board a flight (or will be deterred from boarding a flight):

China was branded ‘weak, bullying and petulant’ today as it refused to allow Hong Kong citizens to leave using British passports amid a furious row over UK plans to grant residency to thousands of people.

The communist regime’s foreign ministry today said it would not recognise the British National Overseas passport as a valid travel document.

The sabre-rattling came ahead of a plan to start offering UK residency visas to Hong Kongers from this weekend.

Downing Street today refused to be cowed by the outcry from Beijing and underscored the commitment it made to Hong Kong nationals.

Around 300,000 people are expected to leave Hong Kong for Britain under the new scheme, unveiled by Boris Johnson in the wake of China’s national security law.

But a statement by foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian plunged the visa system into uncertainty just hours after it was announced to be launching on Sunday.

Of course, stopping the exodus is exactly what Brits want.  Neoliberal Tories will be outraged.  Paeans to the industriousness and enterprise of Hong Kongers have been appearing all over the right-wing press for months.  Daniel Hannon even wanted to give them the Isle of Wight.

The Visegrád Four as the driving force behind Europe’s support for Belarusians

Posted by DanielS on Monday, 14 September 2020 05:01.

Visegrád Group“Poland still remembers the decisive events of 1989 and always supports its neighbours. I have called for an extraordinary meeting of the European Council and strong reaction from the EU to what is happening in Belarus. We must support Belarusians together”, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki tweeted on August 11. Poland has clearly taken the lead in the Visegrád Group’s response, and also, with the support of its V4 partners and of the Baltic States, in the EU’s response. After some early hesitations, Hungary’s leaders have been most outspoken in their support for Poland’s efforts.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on August 17 that he had held talks with his counterparts from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, and also with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who had just spoken to Polish PM Morawiecki: “The power and importance of the Visegrád cooperation is evident again. We support the Polish position, especially regarding the large Polish community in Belarus”, Szijjártó wrote. Such support comes in spite of Hungary’s having better relations with Russia than Poland does, and at a time when Morawiecki has called on Russia not to intervene in Belarus and has presented a plan to support those who are protesting in that country. Morawiecki’s plan contains a pledge to make it possible for Belarusian university teachers and students to find places at Polish universities if they are expelled in Belarus due to their political activity, a promise to make it easier for Belarusians to get visas and work permits, a new mechanism to finance independent Belarusian media outlets, and new sources of financing for Polish NGOs which bring support to civil society in Belarus.

Paleocon Bannon arrested, indicted in private sector crowd-funding fraud, build-the-wall campaign.

Posted by DanielS on Saturday, 22 August 2020 09:42.

“Ethno-nationalism—it’s losers. It’s a fringe element. I think the media plays it up too much, and we gotta help crush it, you know, uh, help crush it more.” ...“These guys are a collection of clowns.” - Steve Bannon.

Paleocon Steve Bannon arrested, indicted for facilitating private sector crowd-funding fraud, build the wall campaign…

Donald Trump’s former aide Steven Bannon is arrested and INDICTED over ‘ripping off $25 million crowd-funded border wall to pay for his and co-founders’ lavish lifestyles’ - Daily Mail 20 Aug 2020

Thamster WitNat (Jefferson, Josh and Tyler), 22 Aug 2020 ( Josh Neal 2:10): “Bannon and several other members of the Trump campaign have basically been, just stealing millions of dollars from the public - from god-fearing, Trump-loving Americans, who took it upon themselves to build the wall.”

”...(Jefferson-Lee 2:46): I love this story, how hilarious this is. I know it’s terrible. I’m not happy that Magapedes got ripped-off. I was going to do my pseudo-Cernovich combined with Styxhexinhammer, “I predicted thith, I predicted thith”..because I remember about a year ago both Josh and I railing against this build the wall floating all over conservative media…. probably you shouldn’t donate to this. In fact, your tax dollars should be paying for it. This is obviously a scam. Don’t donate any money. Now what I found particularly hilarious about this, because I don’t know its because I hate myself or I hate Steve Bannon or maybe its some kind of combination of both, I actually went through the items that these goons bought with the money that they stole from Magapedes. I mean, these guys bought a fishing boat! That’s pretty expensive. OK? They bought a legit fishing boat off of the hopes and dreams off of the broken-back, American boomers who are desperate for something to be done.

This story won’t get enough coverage among the people who need to see it. Like conservaboomers and lets be honest, millennials who are like ironically into Americanism and don’t really know who they are; they need to hear this too: The conservative media is Not your friend. We’ve known this for quite some time but this is a literal grift that they were caught doing; lest I forget, during the ‘great Groyper wars’ of 2020, there were a lot of people saying like, you know, “our beef isn’t with Donald Trump Junior, just go after Charlie Kirk when he is speaking at TPUSA events, don’t go after Donald Trump Junior.’ But Trump Junior was seen shilling these funds too. Now maybe he didn’t know, maybe he didn’t have much of an idea of how much a crook Bannon was; I don’t believe that by-the-way, but it’s just me putting that out there.

Regardless, this just goes to show that the mainstream political establishment and the resistance that you’re allowed to have - Steve Bannon, who by the way, I just saw a picture of him before, leaving jail or something, looks like the quintessential boomer - the boomer of all boomers. These people are not your friends. They hate you.

Bannon’s disregard of ethno-nationalism is “leaked.” Majorityrights
To me,” Bannon said, “the economic war with China is everything” ...“Ethno-nationalism—it’s losers. It’s a fringe element. I think the media plays it up too much, and we gotta help crush it, you know, uh, help crush it more.” ...“These guys are a collection of clowns,” he added. See Majorityrights

There is no doubt about it. And just one more thing… imagine not trusting a Goldman-Sachs banker with ties to Hollywood like Steve Bannon? Shocker, shocker! He might actually hate you. He might not actually have your best interests in mind. Imagine that? Just going to put that out there; seems a little obvious when you actually do some thinking. - Jefferson-Lee.

JF Gariepy is more sympathetic to Bannon, arguing to the effect that Bannon is correct to plead not guilty and may be acquitted for the possibility that he may not have been fully aware, or significantly responsible for what his colleagues were up to, whether crowd-funding money was being spent on personal indulgences and what of the crowd funding money was yet to be spent on the wall.

Pathological Altruism and the Invasion of Britain

Posted by DanielS on Saturday, 15 August 2020 08:56.

Laura Towler gives a presentation of the invasion of Britain from the perspective of “pathological altruism” - a term which drew hot objection from Tanstaafl.

Tan objects to the term put forward by Kevin MacDonald saying that it apparently comes by way of Jared Taylor’s White advocacy as Taylor wishes to take the blame off of Jewish power and influence per se.

However, Laura’s use of the term isn’t naive. She acknowledges that this condition of pathological altruism has instigating sources - of which she is well aware.

Michigan governor signs order calling racism a public health crisis.

Michigan governor signs order calling racism a public health crisis

The Hill 5 Aug 2020:

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) signed an executive order on Wednesday, officially declaring racism a public health crisis.

In an effort to “elevate Black voices,” the order also mandates that a state advisory council centered around Black leadership be created. Additionally, Whitmer wants the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to have all state employees complete implicit bias training in an effort to “make health equity a major goal.”

“We must confront systemic racism head on so we can create a more equitable and just Michigan,” Whitmer said in a statement. “This is not about one party or person. I hope we can continue to work towards building a more inclusive and unbiased state that works for everyone.”

— Michigan State Police (@MichStatePolice) August 5, 2020

Michigan isn’t the first state to declare racism a public health crisis; Colorado and Wisconsin have done so recently as well. On a more local level, municipalities in 19 states have taken similar steps, including California, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Many of the declarations come after the American Public Health Association (APHA) declared systemic racism a public health crisis at the beginning of June — shortly after Minneapolis police killed George Floyd, a Black man.

Floyd’s death regalvanized the Black Lives Matter movement and spurred nationwide protests that have been happening for most of the summer.

Moreover, health experts have found that COVID-19 has affected the U.S.‘s communities of color at disproportionate rate.

According to The Detroit News, Black Americans account for roughly 27 percent of the confirmed cases and nearly 40 percent of its deaths, although Michigan is only 14 percent Black overall.

Michigan has 84,050 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 6,219 deaths.

Therefore, she should order the borders closed and social distancing boundaries to be put into full effect.

Anti-Racism is Cartesian.

It is anti social classification and discrimination accordingly. It is not innocent, it is prejudiced. It is prejudice against prejudice; it is hurting and it is killing people.

It is also no less true, nor contradictory of the first statement to say that anti-racism is a Jewish construct.

It is a prohibition, especially for White people, but really for any non-Jewish people from rendering social classifications and discrimination accordingly in order to maintain those classifications (prohibited, even if those classificatory discriminations are just, humane, and warranted on the basis of well reasoned patterns of human ecology).

Taxpayers & Church donors fund own displacement. SPLC&ADL in cahoots with Google et al. tech giants

Exclusive: Michelle Malkin Lays Out Who Is Funding Open Borders Activism

Open Borders Inc: Taxpayers and Church donors fund their own destruction and displacement.

Soros teams-up with NGO’s and Religious Charities to open borders. So called conservative Republicans culpable as well.

Google and other Tech giants in cahoots with SPLC and ADL to enforce censorship and “cancel culture.”

Anne Corcoran’s site - Refugee Resettlement Watch - shut down.

......

(4:00)

Michelle Malkin:

Whether its quoting from the tax documents of these tax exempt non profit charities that are essentially the political action arm of the Democrat party, or exhaustive lists of the legal organizations that make up the illegal alien lawyers lobby ...more than 400 groups that I mention…

I think that its important that American tax payers know that it’s largely their money that is funding their own destruction.

(4:45)

Alex Marlow:

And for me one thing that really hurt, as a Catholic, was knowing how much the collection money goes straight to the illegal alien enablers.

You (Michelle) go after the financial beneficiaries of immigration.

Michelle Malkin:

Yes, and your average consumer of conservative information is very familiar with the name George Soros.

But I think they’re less familiar with the interaction and the infrastructure between George Soros and The Vatican and The Catholic Church..and every one of its sub-organizations; the conference on Catholic Bishops, the Campaign for Human Development, Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services ....The Jesuit Refugee Service, and its role in standing up the illegal alien shelter network stretching all the way from Central America to churches inside the United States.

So people need to think very carefully if they’re going to sit in Catholic Church pugh’s if they’re going to contribute to the annual Thanks Giving Fund.

Because that is multiple, multiple millions of dollars that is going to go straight into amnesty shills that operate as a smuggling network.

(6:30)

Alex Marlow:

And you also are not afraid to go after people on the right…

You don’t hold back from people who are on the dole from the right on the Open Borders Lobby.

This includes the tech giants and their role.

I had no cue as to how open borders that Jeff Bezos was.

He backs all these open borders groups.

and he’s probably the least threatening of the tech giants at the moment. ..we know Google and Facebook’s history of it…the thing in Washington now is that people on the right are getting bought off by these people.

(7:37)

Michell Malkin:

Yes, I would agree.

There are many of these beltway establishment Republicans who are completely bought off.

I talk openly about the Koch brothers; the Libra Organization they sponsor is as bad as any Soros operation that shills for so called illegal alien dreamers.

(10:08)

Alex Marlow:

“Talk to us about this war on national sovereignty…and what it really means, which is a war for globalism”...

Michelle Malkin:

“Yes and this is not some wild, black helicopter conspiracy ....all of the Soros paid minions have already attacked me as some sort of conspiracy theorist….I call them Soros flying monkeys.”

“But Soros is very explicit about it in his books and in his speeches all over the world, that sovereignty is a quote unquote obstacle - OBSTACLE.

So, he sees our borders as obstacles. ...and our walls and every attempt to enforce our sovereignty and the rule of law.

...and you’ve got a lot of very learned listeners who understand what the United Nations agenda is”...

Alex Marlow:

Their agenda is grifting brown people.

Michelle Malkin:

There you go, that’s pretty much the bottom line.

And so people wonder how did Minneapolis turn into what it turned into (this was posted last September).

...and Lewiston, Maine and Nashville, Tennessee.

Well, if you have been paying attention to UNGA assemblies every year, you would understand that.

[In opposition to these global compacts] It is very encouraging to me to hear plans floated of zeroing-out the refugee resettlement numbers - a moratorium is long overdue.

Not only for the financial and cultural impact that it’s causing on a lot of these working class neighborhoods and towns that never got a say in whether they wanted these refugees, largely from Muslim countries and African countries in the first place, but also, on September 11th, to consider the national security implications of bringing people over here who have an unshakable hatred of all things Western.

Alex Marlow:

Yeah, this is about a war on the West, this is where this is going.

Michelle Malkin:

And where does this come from?

This is why I thought it was very important to include a chapter on The Southern Poverty Law Center.

Long before the deplatformings that we’ve seen over the last year or so, back in 2006 and 2007 there was a little video that popped up on Youtube ... in partnership between La Raza and the ADL..

..creating a guide book of code words of hate, and Michelle was on this list and in this video because she had used the word “invasion” (Azatlan, Reconquista and Invasion).

Alex Marlow:

I had no clue that Google was working with the SPLC.

Michelle Malkin:

...of course it’s not just Google. We mentioned Amazon and Tim Cook, who is in the hip pocket of the SPLC, Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg.

But even other platforms where I had never worried that they would be polluted by politics - WordPress.

I mentioned in the book that a heroine of mine, Anne Corcoran, who runs, or ran, an incredible reporting blog called Refugee Resettlement Watch, had that whole blog, the plug was just completely pulled, just two months ago (July 2019) by Word Press.

...my blog is on Word Press, and I wake up every morning worrying that my blog will no longer exist.
