Years ago, Morgoth voiced a very astute observation: He correctly identified (paraphrasing) that when a White woman gives birth to a mulatto child, she, effectively, flushed 100,000 years of evolution down the toilet.

Morgoth has developed into the pre-eminent cultural critique and asker of questions in our movement.  He sees through the surface of things and into the flow of forces beneath better than anyone else I know; and because he is a good writer, he expresses it very beautifully too.  Because, also, his critique is made not just from nationalism but from Nature and from a yearning for truth, it is more rounded and free of delusions than that of any culturally-focussed intellectual in the accepted, mainstream sense.  I have nothing but admiration for the way he has negotiated his journey.  Perhaps I would like him to read me a bit from time to time because I do believe that his essentially pessimistic Weltanschauung answers some questions before they are even properly asked, and the fundamentalisation of those can cast a new and more constructive light.  Without it, the Derridian injustice ultimately triumphs in yet more cynicism and resentful impotence, and it would be a tremendous shame if his talent and achievement parented only that.  We do need more than reflection and beauty, yes.  But chiefly we need a purchase on history and some forward movement.

Morgoth is superb . I had not heard of him until you mentioned his name, GW , so , many thanks for that and much else .

His Geordie accent , which I like , is so different from that of his English compatriots that I attempted , in my dilletante way , to account for it.

It seems the Vikings left an accent - based, linguistic trace in the North East.

The Vikings left some fine Aryan DNA behind in Scotland to augment that of the Indo - European language speaking Celts.

According to the PoBI, Al, there is “negligible trace” of Danish or Norwegian genes in the English population.  I’ve always thought that odd, given the incidence of Danish place-names in East Anglia.  There is a view that William’s Harrying of the North was actually a genocide of the surviving Vikings conducted, in the main, by Saxon barony who were, in the aftermath, allowed to keep their titles and lands.  Certainly, the PoBI database is very large and tightly defined, so they may be correct on genetic trace.  But there has been at least one later population study, on a smaller data-base I believe, which found a geographically limited but quite high trace.  Oh for certainty.

One should not only praise Morgoth.  Woes also does an amazing job in these programmes, and seems able to communicate freely with every person he interviews - which I can tell you is hard!
