Kay Burley is a long-serving news reporter with Sky News. She has her own three-hour slot each afternoon, and has reported on many major news stories. She is not a novice, not someone who would be unaware of what is required. And what is required is very apparent here, in this video of a plainly spiked interview she conducted with a shopkeeper who experienced the London riots.
Kay Burley: What happened?
Big Jim: About ten o-clock I got texts saying that one of my other stores was being raided. I came down. By eleven o’clock there was at least a hundred ... two hundred black youths with hoodies and stuff just rampaging every shop.
Kay Burley: You’re not being stereotypical there? You’re not sure ... are you sure ...
Big Jim: I was there with a hoodie.
Kay Burley: Are you sure that they were black?
Big Jim: I was ... I was there with my hood ...
Kay Burley: I’m sure they weren’t all black, were they? (inaudible)
Big Jim: OK, then. Let me then to say they weren’t all black. I was the white guy there.
Kay Burley: Well, there were probably other white guys there as well.
Big Jim: I didn’t see any.
Kay Burley: When we’ve run the pictures they’ll be ...
Hat tip to Road Hog posting at the BNP section of British Democracy Forum
I’ve listened again, yes, it sounds like “Certainly when the pictures that we’ve seen ...”
But here is an article in Welt Online that explains more than the “pictures”, and also calls the lie on the British media’s attempt to manipulate the public perception:
Most of the defendants confirm all the stereotypes
Jurisprudence on the assembly line in 24-hour court: Despite a few exceptions to most of the defendants all the cliches: Foreigners, criminal, unemployed.
... Katz can not remember how many rioters and looters he has already defended today. But he is quite sure about their motives. “Forget the talk about protest and political motives,” he says. “These guys are greedy, and exploited the situation and the adrenaline rush intoxicated.”
Half of the accused are minors
In recent days, British media reported that many defendants do not correspond to the typical prejudices about rioters. There was the aspiring social worker who stole a flat screen TV, the students, the elementary school teacher who broke into a music store.
A night at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, however, conveys a different picture: Almost all suspects have a migrant background, no job, but a sizeable criminal record. About half of the defendants are minors, but their parents consider it unnecessary to come to the courtroom.
From the Sky News point of view, they could never broadcast Big Jim explaining what he saw because he was “obviously” a stereotyping white racist. The guy just wasn’t going to say what they wanted him to say, so the interview would not be useful to them, and in American parlance would have to be canned.
What it shows is that the decision to impose a “white rioter” narrative across the board, even where there were only negroes, was taken long before the first window was broken. It was taken not by the journalists on the ground or the editorial team in the office or even by the board. It was taken by the liberal mind, and is part and parcel of the way that liberal mind functions.
It is nigh impossible to over-estimate the self-estrangement of the liberal mind. These people have no connection through their learned thought patterns to self or kind. Liberalism of this order is simply the identification with Jewish existential hostility to us, and liberals haven’t a clue about that. Worse, they think they are exponents of a way to human freedom. It is the greatest delusion of an age of delusions.
Yes, this part doesn’t take a conspiracy. The conspiracy part came much earlier with the capture of the universities. Once their minds were successfully twisted they self-censor unconsciously.
I’ve been mentioning the Die Welt article as much as possible. It’s perfect ammunition for making people distrustful of the establishment.

From the essay, ‘Brainwashing: How the British Use the Media for Mass Psychological Warfare (as quoted here):’
“[The Club of Rome] can also call on the capabilities of a mass psychological warfare machine, also run by the British and their assets, which extends into key phases of media production, and includes writers and psychiatrists who help shape the content, and the pollsters who fine-tune and analyse the impact on targeted populations. Beyond this interacting network, there are millions of participants involved in the production, distribution, and transmission of media messages, whose thinking, in turn, has been shaped by the content of the media product, and who are, effectively, self-brainwashed by the culture within which they live.”

The last line sounds more like: “certainly from the pictures that we’ve seen”.
