True High Comedy About Ron Paul’s “Fake” Grassroots Campaign Quick, before these stories are removed from the net out of embarrassment see this story from Australia’s widest circulating newspaper, then this reposting of that story by the FreeRepublic.com Fred Thompson supporters, then this riotously funny thread on “FredThompsonForums.com”. Words can’t describe the humor… but I’ll try… Basically, anyone with a modicum of perception sees that centralized old media manipulates public opinion creating fake grassroots support of “democratically elected” candidates. This has been the dominant form of politics for the 20th century and we’re only now starting to see the facade cracking under stress from the real grassroots Ron Paul campaign arising from the pent up disenfranchisement finding expression via decentralized new media. So to call a TV personality’s support a real grassroots campaign while calling Ron Paul’s support a fake grassroots campaign is the height of hubris ... and there stops my description of the humor leaving the rest for the kind and gentle reader. Makes one to wonder who much one should believe the US MSM reporting on international stories if they don’t bother checking such basic facts for a story in an English-speaking first world country’s major paper. I think it might also indicate how biased this paper is against Dr. Paul that they took this “professor” at his word and didn’t bother checking up on him. I wonder if a story positive story on the same subject would have been treated the with such credulity. That this story actually got published indicates to me that we have some exceptionally talented, resourceful and creative people on our side. 4

Is this a fake story or not? 5

Posted by James Bowery on Sat, 13 Oct 2007 16:17 | # I’m confused. Is this a fake story or not? This is one of those “poetic” situations where it hardly matters. The hubris I mentioned is the same. One thing is clear: The FredThompsonForum.com guys are very astute for having seen that the neocons would try to roll out their duct-tape-and-baling-wire candidate to astroturf over Ron Paul’s genuine grassroots, and then setting up a faux-forum for Thompson months in advance so they could capture the network externality within the Thompson campaign and subject it to the kind of abuse of monopoly position to which Jim Robinson and fellow Mossad tools subject FreeRepublic.com. They are using their network externality to good effect, although they are a little too obviously spoofing Fred Thompson supporters to attract a critical mass of Fred Thompson supporters. What they are attracting with their network externality is a crew of very astute political comedians who know, 1) how the neocons are playing the network externality monopoly game with FreeRepublic.com, 2) how serious a threat to the elites Ron Paul’s campaign is, 3) how the elites positioned themselves to respond with Fred Thompson using the traditional “astroturfing” centralized media politics of the 20th century and 4) how to use the 21st century decentralized media to rhetorically turn the thereby-exposed chutzpah of the neocons against themselves to create a side-splittingly funny collaborative content website. I suspect this is an offshoot of the Colbert Report phenomenon. 8

The method is nothing new. What’s confounding is how slow or non-responsive the racial nationalist movement has been in recognizing and adopting the tactic. Is pitifully impotent, angry fist-shaking at racial minorities really going anywhere? 10

Journalists, priests, politicians and professional specialists of all kinds live in perpetual fear that one of the biggest ideological experiments of all time - getting different races and nationalities to live together in one homeland - will sooner or later break down into vicious sectarianism. Many parts of the liberal establishment are now becoming extremely uneasy about the reckless and unthinking way in which the Government shows its determination to carry on with its policy of only barely restricted immigration, regardless of what people want or what is in the interests of the nation.”...........contd. It’s some pretty serious overpresentation. Post a comment:

Although I am not an American, I see the danger and threats all about us, we, the men of the West, are destined for the same fate, one that does not look promising right now.
Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate who would have any chance of saving the West from ruin, at worst he would give us a few more years.
Please vote for him, with out someone like him we all lose, with him there is a chance, however slight!
