Skana arrived in Britain during 2014 from Albania. Her mother lives in Manchester and she has a sister named Klestora. In 2015 Eltiona was reported to the police after she threatened to kill neighbours. In 2017 Eltiona “stabbed her mother through the hand and hit her over the head with an iron”. She also threatened to kill Klestora, who phoned the police after locking herself in the bathroom. During her psychiatric assessment she threatened to kill staff and other patients. From what she has told psychiatrists, it’s more likely she is Orthodox Christian rather than Muslim. I don’t know how I didn’t see this story right away, was a bit distracted with COVID and other matters, and then again, I would appreciate it if someone would call my attention to an important, horror of an event like this.
