People from minority ethnic backgrounds are less likely to take the coronavirus vaccine, according to polling for the Royal Society for Public Health.

Three-quarters (76%) of the 2,076 UK adults polled said they would take a Covid jab if advised to by their GP or another health professional, but among respondents from black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds the proportion fell to 57%. For white respondents the figure was 79%.

However, among BAME respondents who were not willing to be vaccinated, 35% said they were likely to change their minds and get the jab if their GP gave them more information, compared with 18% of white people who were initially unwilling.

... Numerous studies have shown Covid death rates in the UK for most ethnic minorities to be higher – significantly so in some cases – compared with white ethnic groups. A report published on Tuesday by parliament’s women and equalities committee found one of the causes of the disparity to be “entrenched health inequalities”.

The poll for the RSPH, carried out by Yonder between 4 and 6 December, found confidence was lowest among respondents of Asian ethnicity, with 55% likely to say yes to a jab.

Jabeer Butt, the chief executive of the Race Equality Foundation, said: “These findings are not surprising in light of past experience of the reach of vaccines to BAME communities, but they appear to be particularly worrying as it suggests the Covid vaccine may not reach communities that have been disproportionately impacted.

“It is imperative that the NHS uses trusted channels like BAME-led voluntary organisations to reach and address concerns of BAME communities and ensure that the disproportionate impact of Covid is not exacerbated.”

People on lower incomes are also less likely to take the vaccine, according to the polling, with 70% of the lowest earners saying they were likely to do so, compared with 84% of the highest earners. The RSPH said this should also be of concern to the government, given death rates from Covid in the poorest areas have been more than double those in better-off areas.

The poll found that men (80%) were more likely to get the jab than women (73%). Overall, just 8% of those surveyed said they would be very unlikely to take a coronavirus vaccine.

Woolley: Thankfully big business has responded fantastically to this moment, as too have local authorities, and practically every academic institution. Difficult conversations have been had, and experiences listened to; historical facts have been laid bare.

We have not spoken.  Our experiences have not been listened to.  Our history of unwanted racially alien colonisation and replacement has not been laid bare.

Well, we are not allowed to speak or converse on an equal footing. We are expected to listen, agree, wear sackcloth and enact on what our moral superiors tell us. This situation will not change while nine out of ten of our university lecturers are somewhere left of the Frankfurt School and school teachers are encouraged to be political activists rather than educators ; and the likes of Andy Burnham control our conurbations. Despite the long running attempt by the Labour Party to lay claim to the Cooperative movement, the movement is, in fact, supposed to be apolitical - something I know only too well having set up a housing cooperative in ‘82 in a project which would today be derided as “gentrifying” an area, or in my terms reclaiming a small part of England for the English - while getting the government to pay £1.5 m for it. HAG was generous back then. Of course, had I wanted to run up runic flags and patrol with open carry, or set up a blog (impossible at the time) announcing my intentions -  it would have gotten absolutely nowhere.  In England, my England, do as the English do. Going about things quietly without drawing attention to yourself is the route to success.

At the moment the only weapons we have are our £ and $. Spend wisely - and the really big gun - our labour. Shame only Daniel and Kumiko really got a handle on this.

It’s a class thing.

Most people are so f’ed up that they have to look down on ppl in order to make themselves feel more important than the actually are. That explains why they demonize the uneducated white working class (WWC); it’s simply bc the WWC are an easy target; moreover, it’s socially acceptable to do so (actually it’s rewarded). Callous and selfish bastards they are. But in their own sick twisted minds, they look at themselves as having achieved a higher level of intellectual sophistication; they fancy themselves as members of the so-called upper-class. A class whose views adhere to leftist orthodoxy and all it entails. Of course the “upper-class” i.e. the alleged intellectual superiors, the intelligentsia, are required to reject “racism.” That’s an essential element in appearing to be above the unwashed thus gains and/or maintains their social acceptance/status. After all “racist” thinking is thought to be anathema amongst the sophisticates. It’s only those low-class, working -class whites who engage in such crudity - or so they pretend. Moreover it’s all taught in the colleges and universities - the modern day Marxist indoctrination centers. That’s mainly where the anti-white ideological toxins are spread. From there it spreads to every corner of the culture.

In sum, those who look down on working-class whites are invariably pretentious a-holes.
