Swedish Newspaper, Dagens Nyheter, Confronted With Cover-up of Issues Relevant to Crime

Dagens Nyheter is forced to open the blinds to immigrant abuse, 11 Jan 2016:

New Years sexual assaults
The coordinated attacks were not limited to Cologne.

Immigrant men being over-represented in governmental gender policy-making and holding racist views of Swedish women is well-known to DN and other media. But to report on the abuses causes a collision with the newspaper’s political values. After the mass atrocities against German women in Cologne a broad awakening is occurring to the wave of scandals across Europe and in several cases cover-ups have come to the surface.

Abuse of Swedish girls from men of immigrant background - often so-called “refugees” - should have been reported on, inter alia, as having occurred at ‘The We Are Stockholm Festival’ in Stockholm last summer. It was something that DN was tipped-off about, but somehow reporting never happened. Blame the missed responsibility and the “aggravating circumstances” for enabling the abuse.

DN receives daily tips on crimes and abuses in which Swedish women are victims and perpetrators immigrant. Often there are racist motives behind the atrocities. To report on abuses should not involve any consideration for an objective newspaper in the public service. To mention the perpetrators’ ethnicity in similar cases is also relevant because it almost exclusively concerns race and racism in this type of crime.

The result will often instead be a total loss of reporting because one cannot mention the crime and its possible nature without it somehow becoming too obvious and too hard to avoid referring to the offenders’ ethnicity. In several cases, reporters have chosen to call the perpetrators “Swedes”, even in cases where they lacked Swedish citizenship. But as this kind of obscuring or intentional misrepresentation becomes increasingly obvious they often prefer not to report on the events at all.

To dampen the growing confident indignation of Dagens Nyheter, other media outlets now go about trying to minimize the damage by blaming the police for not reporting properly on last summer’s attacks on the We Are Stockholm Festival.

A police chief in Stockholm was forced to recognize how it happened:

- This is a sore point, we sometimes dare not say what it is because we think it plays into the hands of The Swedish Democrats. We must take this under consideration as police said the police chief, Peter Agren.

The politicized news and obscuring of the impact of immigration policy is often described as one of the main causes of the crisis of confidence in old newspaper readership.

                              - Markus Andersson

DN, “The first confirmation that the Swedish government operates active cover-up policy”, 11 Jan 2016:

The now revealed scandal of abuse of Swedish girls at the Stockholm festival We Are Stockholm has begun to receive criticism outside of Sweden. One of Norway’s most famous writers and commentators is now targeting fierce criticism of the Swedish police for covering-up immigrant crime.

New Dagbladet reported earlier in the day about the obscurantism surrounding a dark force of the assault on the Swedish girls that occurred during the summer Stockholm Festival. Dagens Nyheter was tipped off about the events but never reported on them. This weekend these same journalistic decision-makers went out and blamed the police for the obfuscation.

The police in turn revealed they’ve actively pursued their own policies in their work to disadvantage certain political parties.

- This is a sore point, we sometimes dare not say that it is because we think it plays into the hands of The Swedish Democrats. We must take this under consideration as police, said the police chief, Peter Agren, to the Daily News.

Now one of Norway’s most famous writers and commentators, Elin Ørjasæter, directs strong criticism of Sweden and the Swedish police.

- This is first confirmation from the authorities that they engage in active politics, using their positions to support the establishment in holding back the truth to serve a specific political issue, she told Norwegian Nettavisen.

The statement received considerable attention in the neighboring country: says Ørjasæter, “the dam is broken” in Sweden; and she foresees that Sweden has big problems for democracy ahead.

- Sweden should be ashamed. This is a shameful day for Swedes who have not understood this before. Now the dam has burst in Sweden. Had it not done so, we would have seen a much worse effect than the SD moving forward, said Ørjasæter to Nettavisen.

The e-mail shows that Hanne Kjöller and DN knew about the sexual assaults as early as August 2015, but kept quiet about it.

STOCKHOLM The Cologne sex assault on New Year’s Eve, where groups of Arab and North African men groped more than a hundred German women, has shocked Europe this last week. But a very similar incident, with a large number of perpetrators and victims, took place in the Swedish capital last summer. That incident however was silenced by large Swedish newspapers and media companies, despite repeated attempts from police officers to contact journalists. This is how leading Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter tried to cover up a politically inconvenient sex assault story.

Nyheter Idag is now able to disclose in detail how major Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter deliberately covered up stories about widespread sexual abuse in central Stockholm in connection with a concert in the Kungsträdgården public square this August. “The mere suspicion that the abuse has been considered as difficult to describe involves a betrayal of the victims”,the newspaper writes about the event, almost six months later.

On Saturday August 15th, the nationally acclaimed and outspoken feminist artist Zara Larsson headlined the youth festival ‘We Are Sthlm” with a crowded concert in Kungsträdgården in central Stockholm. Thousands of young people were in attendance to take part in the event during the last summer nights of the year.

But for an unknown number of young girls the festival soon became a nightmare. Hordes of young men pressed against young girls, fondled and tried to cop a feel over and under skirts, pants and shirts. There were severe sexual assaults happening right in front of the stage, where artists such as Larsson and rapper OIAM performed.

During a single night police and security guards had to intervene against around 90 younger males, but even adult men took part in the abuse, says an eye witness to Nyheter Idag. The eye witness has professional experience from working at the Stockholm Police Department as a psychologist.

The police officer tried to contact Dagens Nyheter several times: “They never called again.”

The psychologist who knew of what had happened in Kungsträdgården contacted journalist Hanne Kjöller at Dagens Nyheter, by, among other things, e-mail on August 17. The psychologist says he specifically turned to Kjöller because he knew that she had previously written about controversial topics.

“She was very interested and listened until I told her that all the boys and men that were apprehended were young asylants (unaccompanied is the terminology used by Swedish authorities) from Afghanistan and Syria. I sensed that she changed the tone (of her voice). But she also said that she would contact the police”, he tells Nyheter Idag.

Kjöller got the phone number to one of the police officers who were on duty during the event in Kungsträdgården and could provide a recollection of the events. Nyheter Idag has talked with the police officer who Kjöller talked to in August, and he was eager to tell Dagens Nyheter about the massive cases of sexual assault against young girls in central Stockholm.

“She sent a text message to me once, early on, where she wrote that she was looking for me, she wanted to talk. After that, I tried to get in touch with her, but that was when things started to get awry. She answered sometimes, said she would get back to me. But it never amounted to anything. She was interested in it for half day or a day, then she wasn’t anymore”.

The officer explains that he worked for several evenings during this week in Kungsträdgården square. He tells of how he and his colleagues had to apprehend a large number of young men who sexually assaulted girls, in large part unaccompanied refugees from Afghanistan.

The police officer, who has worked as a police officer for over 20 years, emphatically states several times that the events in Kungsträdgården were systematic and extensive in number. This was what he wanted to tell Hanne Kjöller of Dagens Nyheter.

“We got in touch and talked briefly, and she said she would call back, which she did not. So I looked for her, she did not call back. I tried to reach her at another time, but I never heard back from her again. I called several times, cannot say exactly how many. It was over a three or four day period”.

“The editor at DN dismissed the story as SD falsity”

Time passes and a new year begins – it’s now 2016 and the brutal and massive sexual assaults against young girls that August evening in Kungsträdgården is completely unknown to the public.

But then something happens, a rumor that goes viral on blogs in Germany spreads to the so-called “alternative media” in Sweden. After a day, traditional media in both Germany and other European countries start to report on the same issue.

It is, of course, the Sex Attacks in Cologne on New Year’s Eve.

It came to grow into a major scandal after police initially did not report on the large number of sexual abuses and rapes that occurred on the New Year’s Eve. A police chief was fired and it has been speculated why there was so much silence initially, despite all the sexual assaults. But the scandal was a fact and just over a week into the year, there is no way avoiding the subject – are authorities and the media deliberately trying to cover up sexual abuse carried out by men with migrant backgrounds?

Now something happens at newspaper Dagens Nyheter.

The journalist Hanne Kjöller tries to establish contact with the psychologist on January 7th about the events in Kungsträdgården nearly five months earlier. She writes an e-mail to the psychologist. “Would like to get in touch with you again after what happened in Cologne during the New Year holidays,” she writes. In the e-mail conversation it is apparent that she learned of the sexual assaults in Kungsträdgården already on August 17th, but is only now ready to give attention to what happened.

She also calls the psychologist and records a message on his voicemail.

“We had contact in August. Now, after what happened in Cologne, I would like to talk to you again. It got stuck on certain things when we were doing this in August”, says Kjöller in the voicemail.

Then they get in contact with each other again. The incident in Kungsträdgården was suddenly a very pressing matter for Hanne Kjöller to report on, says the psychologist to Nyheter Idag.

“Hanne Kjöller contacted me again yesterday because of the events in Germany, she said it gave her a bad feeling. She was fidgeting when I asked her why she never contacted the police and never wrote an article”, says the psychologist.

He says that Kjöller claims she never got hold of the police, and that is why no article was ever published in Dagens Nyheter about the incident in Kungsträdgården. But the psychologist also says that he’s been given a different explanation. That Kjöller over the phone told him that “the editor for the Stockholm section of Dagens Nyheter had taken charge of the case herself, and (the editor) considered the story to be “SD fabrications” (SD, or Sweden Democrats, are a populist anti-migration party that for a long time has been at odds with Swedish mainstream media).

“She (Kjöller) said that her editor had used the term ‘SD fabrications’ or ‘SD falsifications’, something like that. I remember that detail specifically”, says the psychologist.

The psychologist takes out his mobile phone, his fingers dances over the touch screen. He is upset because of the way he thinks Dagens Nyheter has handled the issue. In a text message, sent from Hanne Kjöller, she is basically apologizing for the critically important story not having been published.

“But a warm thanks for your tip. I am sorry that we didn’t use it in a better way. Hanne”, the text message reads.

Dagens Nyheter: “A betrayal of the victims”

January, Saturday 9th 2016 Dagens Nyheter runs an article with the headline “Women’s right to party safely cannot be sacrificed”. The article is written by freelance writer Lasse Wierup, Hanne Kjöller’s colleague at Dagens Nyheter. In the article the incident in Kungsträdgården is now mentioned for the very first time.

“One of the police officers who took part in the command, and had to give a lot of time in support of the victimized girls, says that the whole incident was considered very sensitive. The young lads that were sent away were judged to be mostly unaccompanied (asylum seekers or refugees)”, writes Wierup.

Then Wierup continues, pondering why the events haven’t been covered in the media previously. He claims it’s “unclear” (why that is), despite that his colleague Hanne Kjöller, according to the psychologist, explained that the editor at Dagens Nyheters Stockholm section earlier dismissed the whole story as “SD fabrications”.

“Why the widespread sexual harassments, in the midst of central Stockholm, with some minor exception, were left in a media shadow, is unknown to me. But the very suspicion that the sexual assaults were considered awkward to (write about) is a betrayal of the victims”, writes Wierup in the very same newspaper that covered up the whole incident to begin with.

After Wierups article is published, some readers are catching on. Andreas Ericson, editor at the now-canceled magazine Neo, is pondering on Twitter if Dagens Nyheter is withholding some information.

“The information about we are sthlm raises a couple of questions. Were crimes reported? Was there any criminal investigation?”

“The details are sketchy and the source is anonymous. But Wierup has a good eye. The (incidents) were going on “night after night”. Were the news desks told about it?”

Excerpt on Jewish control of Swedish media from TOO.

TOO, “Foreword to ‘The West and Its Enemies” 13 Jan 2016 — Daniel Höglund

Jewish Domination of the Swedish Media

This is also the case in Sweden, where the media constitute a very clear example of the power behind pro-multiculturalism, against Swedish nationalism, and opposition to any idea of Swedish ethnic interests. There are a very strong Jewish media ownership and influence in Sweden, not least in terms of the country’s largest newspapers. Seven Swedish newspapers have a daily circulation of around 100,000 or more copies.[2] Four of these are owned by the Bonnier Group (Dagens Nyheter, Expressen, Sydsvenska Dagbladet, Dagens Industri), two are owned by Schibsted (Aftonbladet, Svenska Dagbladet), and one by Stampen Media Group (Göteborgsposten).

The Jewish origins of the Bonnier family are fairly well known, and they have a strong Jewish identity. As an example, Jeanette Bonnier explained the importance of Jewish heritage for their media group in an interview in Dagens Nyheter 2014:

Jeanette Bonnier, 80, owns one-tenth of the Bonnier Group. She is one of Sweden’s richest and a strong power who is on the board of Dagens Nyheter, Expressen and the Swedish Film Industry. […]

“And my family has Jewish roots. And so — this I have noticed to my own surprise — there is a group feeling when you are with a group of Jews. There are cohesion and a group feeling that are … comfortable, I can tell. And that should be the reason why they have survived, the Jews, that they have had this group feeling. If we stick together we will make it. And you can say the same of this company too.”[3]

Carl-Johan Bonnier, Chairman of Bonnier AB, has also pointed out that Jewish heritage is important for his family. When he was asked, in an interview in Dagens Industri in 2004, if it bothers him that the connection between Bonnier and Judaism is often made, he answered: “No, not all. The Jewish heritage still feels as a base for the family.”[4]

That the Bonnier family influences public opinion through its extensive ownership,[5] was, for example, commented on by, Håkan Karlsson, the Chairman of Swedish Journalists, in Dagens Nyheter in 1997:

The Bonnier family owns a total of three of the country’s four tabloids and five morning newspapers. Bonnier also has interests in TV4. — Thus, Bonniers have crossed a line where they in the end could threaten the free formation of opinion, which in turn is the basis for an open and democratic society, says Håkan Carlsson in a written statement.[6]

Another example is a statement from thirteen independent Swedish book publishers, discussed in the article “Now the Bonnier family have dared to face the criticism about their monopoly.” The article very clearly explained the influence of the Bonnier family:

Every public thought has in one way or another passed through the Bonnier business. It can at least seem so after a day of Dagens Nyheter and Dagens Industri for breakfast, Expressen at the afternoon coffee, TV4 News at night, a movie that Bonnier-owned SF have chosen to distribute, and before bedtime a magazine or maybe any of the approximately 500 books published by Bonnier publishers each year. The Swedes have gradually become accustomed to the Bonnier Group’s increasing dominance in their everyday life. No one raises their eyebrows any longer when Dagens Nyheter Culture collaborates with the Bonnier-owned internet bookstore Adlibris or when Malou [von Sievers, a Swedish journalist] runs a Bonnier Book Club on TV4. […] Now we are informed that the Bonnier publishers also have offered to ‘take responsibility’ for the remaining distributor: Pocketstället. If such a deal should be realized, one publishing group will be in total control of the country’s paperback distribution.[7]

In 2014 Pocketstället AB was driven into bankruptcy and Bonnier’s control over paperback distribution became total.

Stampen Media Group, in addition to its ownership of Göteborgsposten, is also a major owner of local newspapers. The Hjörne family is the largest owner of Stampen, and Peter Hjörne is also the company’s chairman. Peter Hjörne has also a strong Jewish identity, and in an interview in Göteborgsposten in 1999 he stressed his “obvious, long-term commitment to the Jewish cause.”[8]

The last one in this media sector is Schibsted that owns Aftonbladet[9] and Svenska Dagbladet. Mats Svegfors, former Chief Editor for Svenska Dagbladet, in an interview in Aftonbladet in 2012 stated that “among Schibsted’s largest shareholders are directly and indirectly, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Bank of New York Mellon. It is to these that the management for Schibsted turns when it explains that Svenska Dagbladet should be dismantled.”[10]

Thus, five of the seven largest newspapers are owned entirely by Jews, the biggest owners of the remaining two are foreign banks. Note that not a single one of the biggest daily newspapers in Sweden are owned by Swedes.

Clearly the newspapers intend to influence politicians, politics and the public opinion in any specific direction. For example, the Newspaper Publishers — which is the “association for newspaper companies and other companies in the media business,” which most daily newspapers in Sweden are members of — state that their purpose is to “influence politicians and the public on issues that are crucial for the media industry — and thus our democracy.”[11]

It is a fact that a positive attitude to a multiethnic society, and a negative attitude to Swedish nationalism, go hand in hand for the established mass media in Sweden. That there is also an interest in maintaining this agenda is very clear.

An example of how this agenda is maintained by the owner’s direct involvement was when Expressen‘s Chief Editor Erik Månsson was fired immediately after having allowed the publication of a series of articles that dealt with Swedes’ views on immigration.

Månsson’s Expressen‘s article series “Black on White” started September 6, 1993. He explained the purpose: “For how long can we in Sweden give the impression that we welcome immigrants and refugees? Because we don’t. The Swedish people have a strong opinion about immigration and refugee policy. Those in power have a completely opposite view. It does not make sense. It is an opinion-bomb about to explode. Therefore, we will tell you, starting today. Just as it is. Black on White. Before it explodes.”

The first article dealt with the Swedes’ views on immigration. A survey done by Sifo (Swedish Institute for Opinion Surveys) reported that 63% of the respondents thought that the authorities should try to influence the refugees to return to their home countries. Expressen’s headline that day was “Drive them out! What the Swedish people think about immigrants and refugees,” and Månsson immediately got massive critique. The editor tried to save himself by publishing a headline the following day with the text “Take care of them! What Expressen thinks about immigrants and refugees,” but was fired anyway on September 15.

Månsson was replaced by Olle Wästberg, who was also fired after a conflict with the Bonnier family. In an article after his resignation, Wästberg clearly described Bonnier’s personal power over the editorial board, where Johan Bonnier, for example, could “be on the editorial board, try to get a book by a good friend reviewed, or to complain that the editor is not good enough.”[12]

There is of course much more to write about when it comes to mass media in Sweden. Other media have similar ownership dominance. However, with this short presentation, it should be clear that it is a fact that Jews in Sweden have a very strong influence on public opinion. In relation to their low numbers in Sweden, the influence is extreme.

That so significant a part of the media in Sweden is owned by non-Swedes is startling, and it is obviously disastrous for Swedes that all established media are against nationalism and the ethnic interests of Swedes. It is a fact that needs to be highlighted as well as critically scrutinized to a greater extent than is the case today.

To return to this book, it is worth emphasizing that the groups and persons included in it are not chosen primarily because of their Jewish origin, but rather this is very often found to be the origin for many of the most successful persons that are attacking the West.

But why would it be in the interest of these Jews to try to destroy the West? Why would Jews have an interest in destroying the ethnic basis for the West?

They blamed ‘Swedish politicians’ for the attack following record migration

A boy, 15, living at centre, arrested on suspicion of murder is from Somalia

The mother of a Swedish woman allegedly stabbed to death by an asylum seeker last night declared her country was ‘not safe’ any more.

Sweden is one of the main destinations for migrants entering the EU and police have warned they cannot cope with the tide of migrant-related crime.

Chimene Mezher described her daughter Alexandra, 22, as an ‘angel’ devoted to helping some of the hundreds of migrant youths who have come to her home of Molndal without parents.

Psychology graduate Miss Mezher - whose parents fled Beirut more than 25 years ago - was stabbed in the back and thigh on Monday in a block of flats housing ten youths aged 14 to 17.

Evidently they will call victims “Swedish” as well, even if they are from Lebanon.

If not fully acknowledging the racial reality of native Swedish claim, at least attention was called to the reality of the crisis, that the police cannot cope with it and that Sweden is no longer safe.

The thing about this story which should also be shocking to many, is that the police commissioner involved seems to sympathise with the criminal more than the woman who has been killed. He said, “We have to wonder what the boy has been through”. It’s also the case that this ‘Somalian boy of 15 years’, has previously had a passport in Germany, on which his year of birth is listed as 1986.

What’s remarkable about that, though, one might wonder? since one might perhaps be inclined to think that “Sweden will be Sweden”, and that Swedish authorities choosing African men over European women is something they’ve been doing for a long time now.

But no.

The woman involved is from Lebanon, making her also an immigrant and a person of colour.

So now it has reached the point where Swedish authorities are just openly defending black males no matter what they do or who they do it to. In a way, that could be taken as symptomatic of the direction that liberalism has been heading in for a while now.

It’s like there is almost nothing that a black male can do to actually incur a liberal’s disdain anymore.

Posted by Swedish Women: “Don’t Go Outside” on Sun, 13 Mar 2016 08:56 | #

TNO, “Swedish Women: ‘Don’t Go Outside”, 11 March 2016:

A surge in nonwhite invader sex attacks and assaults has forced police in the Swedish city of Östersund to advise women not to go outdoors alone

National broadcaster SVT reports what police area manager Stephen Jerand described as a “worrying trend” of unprovoked violence on women in public places.

Speaking at a press conference, police said they had never experienced crime of this nature in the small city of Östersund, which has a population of just 44,000.

“This is serious,” Jerand said. “We care about the protection of women and that is why we go out and talk about this.”

Police said there had been six reports of attacks since February 20, including two 10-year-old girls who were molested at a bus station in the center of the city.

On February 26, a woman was beaten by three men, one of whom was arrested. On Saturday night there was one incident of attempted rape and another of assault.

In that incident, police said a lone assailant walked up to the woman and “hit her in the face with a closed fist.” The attacker, described only as “foreign,” then flung the woman down and pressed her head to the ground, before disappearing from the scene, according to the police report.

In the attempted rape incident, three young men who “spoke Swedish with an accent” attempted to drag a woman to the ground and tear off her pants, but she resisted and managed to break loose, the police report said.
It comes after a poll conducted by Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet found nearly half of all women in the country are now scared to exercise alone at night.
READ Indians, Pakistanis and Nigerians in Uproar over Plans to Introduce Visa Bond

According to the survey, 46 percent of women aged 16 and over felt either “very” or “somewhat” unsafe when they are alone in the dark, compared with 20 percent of men.

Almost a third said if they were caught by sunset, that they’d rather stay at a friend’s house than try to get home alone.
