Occupy Hambach forest, another step toward pervasive ecology
Again, while the source of this news story, unfortunately, is the anti-White Democracy Now, the protestors “look huWhite to me”; and their protests should not be at odds with the survival and protection of European peoples; quite the opposite, they are a part of pervasive ecology.
This open coal pit is nearly as big as Cologne, which is the next city here, where over one million people live.
Basically, 90 percent of the forest is destroyed already because of the coal mining ...and we have less than 10 percent of the Hambach forest left.
...and we are trying to protect this last ten percent of the Hambach forest.
We will take you to the occupation of the Hambach forest…
It’s not just about protecting the forest, it’s about global warming, because this region of lignite mining and the lignite power plant produces the biggest Co2 omissions in all of Europe.
The banner reads: respect existence or expect resistance.
They have built around 20 - 22 tree houses where they live permanently during the whole year.
RWE is a multinational company…producing energy from lignite mining…..
They don’t have to pay the costs of environmental destruction.
How has the company responded to this occupation?
Well, they say what they do is legal and right and what we do here is illegal; and so they’ve asked the police to evict us. But for us that’s a strong sign that the problem is the system that we live in. If it’s legal for a company to destroy our whole planet that means that it’s time to also resist state power.

“We must save the forest, not only so that our ovens do not become cold in winter but also that the pulse of life of the people continues to beat warm and joyfully, so that Germany remains German.” Wilhelm Heinrich Riehl, from “Feld und Wald” 1853.
Destroying a forest to extract fossil fuel is one of the worst environmental crimes you can commit. So much for EU regulations and the “cocktail of risks” to the environment Caroline Lucas claims Britain will face post Brexit.
