The Daily Stormer is running an article right now, in which Andrew Anglin applies massive editorial spin to these events. Anglin somehow concludes from all of this that despite the fact that Trump supports Israel, despite the fact that Trump was bailed out of his first bankruptcy by Jewish financial groups, despite the fact that Trump’s daughter is literally married to a Jew, and despite the fact that he is appealing to Jews to get their gratitude and political support, that somehow magically:

..for Jewish academic to play both sides of “PC” is nothing new.

While the re-normalization and motion to institutionalize social classification is a positive development, the most important issue in the end, is not just normalization, but where the lines of institutionalized discrimination are to be drawn.

Trump is saying some things that we might like to hear, with a candor that purports contempt for “political correctness”, a candor that has not been heard from the previous 11 Presidents at least, spanning more than 60 years.

With that, he flouts the avoidance of “racial profiling” for having allowed the San Bernadino attack. That is indeed a positive development to assert the validity of “race” as a criteria.

Moreover, he takes the validity of “profiling”, i.e., classifying, people a bit further to say that there should be a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.”

Excellent though it is that race and other social classifications, and borders, are being reinvoked by “give-em-hell Trump” and that he is taking steps to re-normalize and re-institutionalize these criteria as a legitimate basis for discrimination…

I wonder what, say, Japanese, et al. might think about who and how the “no-nonsense” lines being drawn there..

P.S., playing “for and against PC” is nothing new for Jewish academia : i.e., one side playing “the vanguard” while the other is “the hand of restraint.”

Mezvinsky sent the request to Clinton, who told an aide, “Could you have someone follow up on this request, which was forwarded to me?”

Contemplating a world without Israel

Tablet, ‘Nobody wants to say it aloud. Not even whisper it. The possibility that the state of Israel may not survive’ 14 Dec 2015:

Oh, sure, hundreds of thousands have been chanting “Death to Israel” for decades, and we are accustomed to brush it off, live with it. Background noise. Comes with the territory. Sure it’s been tried, straight up invasions now and then, but the result has been so one-sided, Israel has demonstrated such overwhelming (and ever-increasing) military superiority, a loss hasn’t seemed like a real possibility.

But it’s not an impossibility. Try to imagine a world in which Israel no longer exists. After a heart-stopping moment you move on, thinking: If it hasn’t happened by now … And sure, the entire world has essentially turned on the Jewish state, driven by the false narratives of the hate-Israel types, and it’s clear there will be relatively few mourners internationally if it should happen. Things have become so turned around that hating the Jewish state has been a way for the world to absolve its guilt at allowing the slaughter of the Jews a few decades ago. Just like Hitler did, they will find a way to blame it on the Jews for bringing it on themselves. I guarantee it; the apologists for genocide have prepared the way by slandering the Jewish state for #GenocideinGaza while ignoring the explicit call for genocide in the Hamas charter.

No big deal. You’ll see the sewer of anti-Semitism that runs beneath the surface of social media vomit up the usual haters, who will emerge from said sewers spewing the usual filth.

And it could be argued this is how it’s always been, for the last 2,000 years or so: Every momentary place of refuge for the Jews destroyed. Yet somehow a shattered remnant has continued to survive.

But what if it’s different the next time? What if, cumulatively, the combination of a vastly different military situation in the hate-filled realm crowding the sliver of land on the Mediterranean coast—combined with the indifference or encouragement of the rest of the world finally staggers and strikes down everything that has been built on sand for those past few decades? Is there any guarantee of survival? That was always the hope: that things wouldn’t always be so precarious the way they were in 1948, 1967, and 1973. But once again they are—even more—precarious.

Is it unthinkable that the next time, or the time after that, the solution will become truly final? A single loss would amount to, as it would have on those occasions, a total loss. And what then?

Is it unthinkable? Or is it time to think about the unthinkable?

Of course the end of Israel without a set location to quarantine Jews, instead spreading their diaspora all over the place, could be the worst case scenario of all.

Some argue that their plague upon Europe began in force when ancient Rome vanquished Judea and Jews went further into the Roman empire. Furthermore, Richard Faussette et al. maintain that Jews absent attachment to a particular circumscribed land would only increase their niche virulence.

That’s part of why anti-Zionists, even Jewish ones, don’t reflect anything like a thorough concern for the interests of Europeans and Europe. Being anti-Zionist or even anti-Jewish, doesn’t mean that one is pro-European and has the best interests of Europeans at heart.

The Prime Minister’s dog, a former stray, also bit the husband of Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely.

The Prime Minister’s “best friend” has been quarantined for biting two people at a family Hanukkah party Thursday night. The dog, named Kaiya, took a small chunk out of a Likud party Knesset Member and the husband of Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely, who was warned by her too late that the canine is not entirely friendly.

Prime Minister Netanyahu brought the stray dog home in July. She previously has been petted by visitors, including U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

But Kaiya may have a dislike for her owner’s Likud party. She bit Sharren Haskel, a Canadian-born Likud MK who also is a veterinary nurse.

Foreign Minister Hotovely’s husband Or Alon was next in line and did not get out of the way in time when his wife said, “Get away from her! She bites!” Yediot Acharonot reported that the dog also bit the Prime Minister shortly after he brought the dog home last summer, the first indication of Kaiya’s affection for the Likud party.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has written on Facebook, “How much light Kaiya brought into our home. If you want a canine, find an adult dog to rescue. You won’t regret it!”

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s opponents, who feel they have suffered multiple bites from him, undoubtedly would prefer that he be quarantined instead of the dog.

Mr Trump said he thought that was an “amazing interview actually” and that he had “never even thought of it from that standpoint.”

He continued: “It would certainly be nice if everybody could be represented properly.”

“Hopefully that’s the case, but maybe it’s not the case.”

“If somebody deserves it. I mean, I’ve watched over the years where African Americans have in fact received Academy Awards and have in fact been represented. And this is not one of those years, but over the years I’ve seen numerous black actors and African American actors receive awards and I think that’s great. This doesn’t happen to be one of those years.”

This is “a tough situation.”

But he gleaned “amazing” advice from somebody interviewed on Fox News.
