“After the Paris terrorist attacks, those of us who dared to mention the security dangers of bringing these people here were called ‘racists’ and ‘bigots”.
- Mark Lingard, a 44-year-old former soldier and businessman

LEADING figures of two Scottish mosques have held posts in a banned organisation linked to sectarian attacks, it has been claimed.
Sabir Ali, the head of religious events at Glasgow Central Mosque, and the leader of Polwarth Mosque in Edinburgh Hafiz Abdul Hamid have both occupied senior positions in the UK branch of Sipah-e-Sahaba (SSP), a BBC Scotland investigation has discovered.
The organisation, which has previously committed massacres in Pakistan, was banned in the UK in 2001.

Aamer Anwar attacks ‘climate of fear’ after condemning extremism in wake of Asad Shah killing and recent terrorist attacks
A prominent human rights lawyer has said he received death threats after calling for unity within Scotland’s Muslim community. Aamer Anwar said he was taking the threats from “fanatics” extremely seriously and that police were investigating.
Anwar chaired an event at Glasgow central mosque last week calling for unity and condemning violence and extremism after the killing of the shopkeeper Asad Shah and the terrorist attacks in Brussels and Lahore.
Shah, 40, was found injured outside his convenience store in the Shawlands area of the city on 24 March. His funeral took place on Saturday. Tanveer Ahmed, 32, from Bradford in West Yorkshire, has appeared in court charged with murder.
Following the attack, police described the incident as “religiously prejudiced” and said both men were Muslims.
“Scotland’s Muslim community” - the phrase is entirely bizarre.
Only 58% of Scots wish to reduce immigration levels . In England 75% is the comparable figure.
The academic who conducted the above Oxford University study is a Jew.

Greg Johnson inaugurates “The New York Forum” modeled after Jez Turner’s “London Forum.”
That’s pretty good and the presenters and audience will be pretty good as they were this time:
Greg Johnson, F. Roger Devlin, Gregory Hood, and Adrian Davies. More than 4o people were in attendance, which Adrian Davies assured us was a very auspicious start. Five authors of Counter-Currents books were present and signed their books: Collin Cleary, James O’Meara, and Michael Polignano, as well as Greg Johnson and F. Roger Devlin
But this bespeaks a problem that Johnson has. He is both intelligent and educated enough to be a right winger - i.e., to hold himself and his ideals aloof and above praxis (the group); moreover, with his position perhaps he has to hold himself and his ideals aloof; the unwashed masses with their ordinary concerns, particularly of WN, may compel him to remain aloof and sort of reinforce this illusive, illusionary right wingshness. Hence, a necessary social step to praxis may not take place under his auspices.
