Mainstream media report the Boer genocide at last Johan’s fine article posted here on June 26th is out of date! “Try googling “Boer farm murders”. You will get the picture,” he wrote of the mainstream media’s failure to inform the public about the assault on SA’s Boer farmers. But today Roger Graef in the Sunday Telegraph has broken the silence. He has done it, however, in a journalistically even-handed way, reporting the views of a Boer farmer in the northern Gauteng province, the black from whom this particular land was taken and the local police chief. The latter is provided with an eight-strong force of men and two cars to patrol an area the size of Scotland. The one-time black farmer is clear that whites should simply go away:-
There are two key point in the article that are not made nearly enough of. First, race murder. Graef rightly notes that the violence against Boer farmers is committed not in the name of restitution or justice or even revenge. The principal motivation is theft - criminal greed - by roving bands of armed young blacks. Isolated farms are simply soft targets. Land reform has nothing to do with it. But race murder clearly has. It is not incidental to the attacks. It is part of the modus operandum. Why, precisely? Is it too hard for Graef to tell us that blacks, anyway, are much more given to violence than other races? That’s something about which the mainstream media still cannot bring itself to enlighten the public. Journalists know it, of course, but they choose to obfuscate the issue, to write off black violence in our midst as a fluid social issue subject to remedy (rather than a biological issue whose only remedy is segregation). It is simply cowardice. They would rather sustain the liberal deceit than be attacked by the left for “racism” and for undermining social cohesion. The second unexplored point in Graef’s article is how the ANC government profits from farm attacks. In ten years, Graef writes, the number of Boer farmers on the land has dropped from 52,000 to 38,000. That’s more than a quarter fleeing their farms in a decade. Why, then, would the ANC speed up its “willing seller - willing buyer” policy of reform? And why would it provide effective policing? The question, at bottom, is whether the Boer genocide is working with the grain of the ANC’s land policy and is, frankly, perfectly agreeable to the ANC. Graef is shown at the foot of the Telegraph article as “executive producer of This World: Blood and Land, BBC2, 9pm Tuesday”. It will be interesting to see how the arch-liberals of the broadcasting establishment tackle the issue. I don’t expect them to let Graef tell too many difficult truths or answer too many difficult questions. Comments:2
