‘Woman on a tram’ to spend Christmas behind bars ‘for her own protection’ after court views video of alleged racist rant

A woman accused of launching a vile racist rant on a tram is to spend Christmas behind bars after she was remanded in custody for her own safety.

Magistrates took the decision to refuse Emma West’s bail application after they heard she had received death threats and that her address had been circulated on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

There were outbursts from supporters of Miss West, who shouted ‘treason’ as she was denied bail at Croydon Magistrates’ Court.

Miss West, a 34-year-old mother from New Addington, appeared before JPs charged with a racially aggravated public order offence in connection with a video that was heavily circulated on YouTube.

The former dental assistant bowed her head and sobbed as three magistrates watched the footage, which has now been seen more than 11 million times online.

When Miss West was arrested her partner told police that had been a number of death threats made against her, Eka Ike, prosecuting, told the court.

Magistrates chairman Ian McNeal said during the hearing: ‘We are told that your address has been widely circulated on Facebook and Twitter and there has been numerous death threats.

‘This case has attracted a high degree of public interest as evidence today. For these reasons we are remanding you in custody for your own protection.’

Miss West’s supporters shouted ‘treason’ and ‘we love you Emma, be strong’ as she was led to the cells.

Earlier, after the foul-mouthed video was played to the packed court, the court clerk asked West how she wanted to plead.

‘Not guilty,’ she said.

Wearing a blue blouse and a black cardigan, she wiped tears from her face during the hearing.

For most of the time the video was played, around two minutes and 20 seconds, she was doubled over, out of sight from the public gallery.

Friends and family gathered to give her support.

The hearing had been adjourned until 2pm to give time for West to prepare reasons for her not guilty plea.

When she returned to the court room, her earlier plea of not guilty was rescinded due to an administrative error. Court records were amended to show she has not yet indicated a plea.

West was arrested on Monday last week for her own safety after the footage was posted on YouTube on Sunday by LadyK89 and viewed more than 10,000 times.

She had been remanded in custody after he first appearance at Croydon Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday.

Miss West has elected to have her case dealt with at the crown court. She will next appear at the same court on January 3 via a video link.

So, we now know that Emma has had some mental issues, and that her disinhibition may have been linked to that. Instead of being given police protection she is imprisoned awaiting trial. Her two children have been taken into care. She has been broken by the system which will pass judgement upon her.

That system, meanwhile, demonstrated the nature of its compassion in this judgement, again reported in the Mail:

A gang of Muslim women who attacked a passer-by in a city centre walked free from court after a judge heard they were ‘not used to being drunk’ because of their religion.

The group – three sisters and a cousin – allegedly screamed ‘kill the white slag’ as they set upon Rhea Page as she waited for a taxi with her boyfriend.

Miss Page, 22, was left with a bald patch where her hair was pulled out in the attack and was left ‘black and blue’ after suffering a flurry of kicks to the head, back, arms and legs while motionless on the pavement.

Ambaro Maxamed, 24, students Ayan Maxamed, 28, and Hibo Maxamed, 24, and their 28-year-old cousin Ifrah Nur each admitted actual bodily harm, which carries a maximum sentence of five years’ imprisonment.

But Judge Robert Brown gave them suspended jail terms after hearing mitigation that as Muslims, the women were not used to being drunk. The Koran prohibits Muslims from consuming alcohol, although Islamic teachings permit its use for medicinal purposes.

After the sentencing, Ambaro Maxamed wrote on her Twitter account: ‘Happy happy happy!’, ‘I’m so going out’, and ‘Today has been such a great day’.

Yesterday Miss Page, a care worker, called the sentence ‘disgusting’ and said the gang deserved ‘immediate custody’.

‘It’s no punishment at all,’ she said. ‘And for them to say they did it because they were not used to alcohol is no excuse. If they were not supposed to be drinking then they shouldn’t have been out in bars at that time of night.

‘Even after the police came and they all ran away, one of them came running back to kick me in the head one last time.

‘I honestly think they attacked me just because I am white. I can’t think of any other reason.’

Video of the assault. One wonders why the victim’s boyfriend was so incapable of ending it. Drink, I suppose.

Two days after being released from a psychiatric ward in Foxley Lane, Purley, West went to see a therapist at the Tamworth Road Resource Centre, in West Croydon.

Croydon Magistrates’ Court heard on Tuesday that West has suffered from depression since she was 18.

David Ewings, defending, told the court that she [West] had been admitted to the psychiatric ward in September. (Source).

What I find maximally frightening is that this sort of thing is even news, let alone a prosecutorial matter.

I’ve been drunk a few times and gone off on very public rants (admittedly and fortunately, pre-you tube and cell phone cameras) that were far more racist than anything Ms. West said (and even then they were far less racist than rants I’ve witnessed on several occasions in public by out of control groids). Usually these were at parties where I’d had enough (of some PC liberal crap), but sometimes they were in bars, and a few times in the street. Of course, in America you don’t get arrested for telling someone to go home to their own country, or how tired you are of minorities and their shit folkways (so to speak). Britain is really a pathetic place.

Nonsense! Immigration is literally destroying Britain. The survival of the real nation comes first! UK can have both national survival AND economic growth. The former is achieved by ending all immigration, deporting all illegal immigrants immediately, and gradually repatriating all non-Europeans foolishly allowed into UK in the first place. The latter is achieved by a massive return to real capitalism: privatisations, deregulation of every industry, ending all foreign aid and wars, keeping out of euro, exiting EU, elimination of all business taxation, abolition of Bank of England and return to 100% pound ‘sterling’, and maintenance of pro-private property police protections (eg, the orgy of looting over the summer should have been quelled with SAS snipers).

We need to get very tough, very Old School Tory, very right-wing, or Britain is finished!

Leon Haller,I voted for the COnservatives in the last election and I am still inclined to vote for them at the moment. <u>Getting non-Europeans to leave Britain would be daft. They’ve done so much to enrich us and contribute lots to Britain.</u> My mother was born in a completely diferent continent and culture. Would you advocate getting her to leave? Would my brothers and I have to leave as well, especially as some of us weren’t born in Britain or would we be exempt since we’re white?

If that’s the Tory Party you want then I won’t be voting for that. I voted for a Conservative Party led by David Cameron.

She is going to be killed and the animals that do it are going to walk. The very least she can do is take one or 2 with her. If I was her, I’d buy a pistol. Not exactly legal in GB these days as far as I understand, but at this point, they are “gunning” for her anyway.

Britain is a small country. It cannot allow itself to be flooded by welfare or work infiltrators. This threatens its society, its economy and its security. They are not refugees, they are economic migrants.

We must see that the last of the infiltrators return to their countries. Their presence is an existential threat to Britain. Each and every one of them must return to their countries.

Just because someone has mental health issues, doesn’t mean they can’t have politically vaild opinions.

If depends on what kind of mental health issues they have. Being predisposed to depression is an affective disorder not a thought disorder. There is no evidence that Miss West is out of touch with reality.

According to the neuropolitics website, liberals are more prone to depression and anxiety that people on the right. So if we to follow the logic than having depression makes you politically irrational, they the establishment would have to discount the opinions of a huge number of liberals and leftists.

Mental issues? Who would not suffer from ‘mental issues’ or ‘depression’ in multicultural London?! I find the fact that this mother of two is going to spend Christmas in jail because she rightly told non-natives to go back to where they came from and while vile hate-mongers are inciting people to rape or kill her, to be absolutely heartless and downright despicable. However, in my own country, things aren’t much better. A former head of the Antwerp police who did much to tackle local crime ended up in jail over ‘racist’ insults whilst the apes that paralysed and blinded a 20-something innocent Bulgarian exchange student in Brussels by throwing him 6 metres down on the subway tracks for no reason whatsoever, are free men because somehow the video evidence was ‘inconclusive’ (watch it here). Welcome to multicultural Europe, Bulgaria! You might as well go on an exchange to Africa these days and chances are you’d have a greater chance of survival. Either way, it is injustices such as these that have lead me to become a pro-White racialist preservationist, aka ‘racist’ in PC terms. It is about time we exposed the people who created and sustain this situation for what they are - traitors of the worst kind who under normal conditions would long have been hanged.
