The Nuremberg Precedents Come Home To Roost

Oath Keepers is an interesting military take-off on the evangelical Promise Keepers.  The subtext of this conflation is basically: “Women tend to be faithless to men whose promises are no good, so if you don’t want to be cuckolded by your wife, you better keep your oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.”

These men are the real deal.  It’s not about membership per se, it’s about their idea of “refusal”.  What if they gave a put-down (i.e., to put down a rebellion) and nobody came?

Think Bartleby the Scrivener in uniform.

Check out the You Tube videos from July4Patriot who until terminal leave was an active duty USMC noncom.  Look at their “Testimonial” page which increasingly attracts officers, active, inactive and retired, including a retired Two Star and a bunch of field grades, some on active duty.

These men are tempting fate with this but it seems to be catching on and yes—the Nuremberg Defense is their perfect strategy.

Please spread the word.  I ask not as an Oath Keeper myself but as one who gladly pays the freight for men such as these.

Is this connected to the on-going issue of Obama’s AWOL American birth certificate?

Lurker, the birth certificate is a red-herring issue.  If there is a real issue with Obama’s eligibility it involves the legal definition of “natural born” regarding the father’s citizenship.  “Patriot” has the same root as Latin for “father” for a reason.

But, really, there are so many other egregious and long-standing violations of the original intent of the Constitution that it is rather traumatic for anyone who takes oaths seriously to even think about the reality of what they are obligated to do when they take such an oath.  That’s why so few take it seriously—they either can’t handle the pain or they don’t give two hoots about oaths.

I had a lengthy series of discussions with a friend who is a former Airborne Ranger and who keeps in touch with the “spec/ops community”.

His thoughts can be summarized:

- Combat arms/intelligence units are mostly White, more so as you move up to the elite (and lily White) units which have character and IQ criteria at the 98th percentile or better (Rangers, BUD/SEAL, aviation, Marine Recon etc.)

- These men live and breathe the American heritage and, as it happens, most come from families iwth long traditions in the Service and many go to Patriot stock.

- The Reserve and National Guard units are similar, except they are part-timers

- None will fight Americans.  In his opinion, most men would be inclined to arrest an officer giving such an order.  Those that “resist arrest” may require a doctor’s immediate services

- Only general staff officers present a problem as many were promoted to field grade under Clinton and are loyal to the jerk for “making” them.

- Federal goons are dangerous, but not too many and could not by themselves be a general threat to the American public (although you would not want to be their target) and they will lick the hand that feeds them

- City cops are not likely to bite the hand that feeds them

- Local cops have to live with the people they serve.

In short, the odds of a federal movement against the American public are good at the political level, but dicey at the operational level.  Blacks/Mexican/other foreign nationals would of course have no problem shooting Americans, but they tend not to specialize in combat arms units because there are still IQ and other criteria that prevent them.  Those Global Majorities that do make such units tend to be Patriots as well, as it is a volunteer assignment.

At the same time, he thought the likelihood of a military coup d’etat would prevent a large-scale attack/siege on the public, although the fedgoons and corrupt city police forces would no doubt try it.

In that sense, the Oath Keepers formalize the “conventional wisdom” and, by their very presence, work to prevent such a scenario from being tested in the first place (think of it as MAD at the trooper level).

Having said that, there is another benefit to this group:  soldiers and cops at some point become former soldiers and cops and live and work in the same communities the feds would need to suppress.

“race-replace white soldiers”

I refer mainly to the officer grades.  Race-based/ethnicity-based affirmative action in the promotion to general for example has been blatant for a couple of decades at least.  This isn’t for affirmative action purposes.  It’s to pack the officer corps with non-whites who, when the time comes, will be willing to give orders to massacre whites and to follow orders to massacre whites.

“Roberts [didn’t] mention that Colin Powell…himself owed his rise to Chief of Staff of the United States Army (and from there to Secretary of State) to his race…”

[...]

“Colin Powell was a beneficiary of this process.  He was promoted to general in 1977 because the Secretary of the Army refused to sign the list of promotions of colonels to general unless Blacks were added to them.  In 1981, Powell’s commanding officer said that if the division ever had to go to war, he would request that Powell be replaced.  Charles Lane, who recorded (1997) these facts, noted, “Such a rating would ordinarily [i.e., if he were White] have meant an early end to Powell’s career.”
