Bunfight at the ConHome corral

Posted by Guessedworker on Saturday, 20 March 2021 23:43.

Since its inception in 2005 Conservative Home has become an “indispensable read” for Tory party members and MPs, particularly those of a centrist persuasion.  These days it is edited by Paul Goodman, who maintains a rigorous guard against any suggestion (and I mean any suggestion) of nationalist critique among the commentariat, while allowing hating lefties free range to attack all and sundry for any backsliding on ethnic suicidalism.  It is not entirely clear how Mr Goodman would feel, say, should ethnic suicidalism ever grip the gentlefolk of Israel.

But today someone let Richard Ritchie, not a Jew but Enoch Powell’s archivist, to post an abridged version of a 16,000 word paper he has authored.  Its subject is the parliamentary history of immigration.  Cue a deadly bunfight below the line, but a bunfight which has lacked the usual viciously partisan moderation.  One can’t help wondering what all those so so respectable centrists are thinking as they peruse the thread.  How to survive the conniptions, probably.  No doubt order will be restored tomorrow.

EP’s Papers (like Thatcher’s) are archived at Cambridge University’s Churchill College , ironically the venue for an anti - British conference organized by a Dravidian aboriginal example of anthropoid refuse named Priya Gopal

Round 3:

More and more folks on the thread who don’t want native minority status.  Oh dear, how mortifying for the respectability freaks.

The editor’s baizuo ideology prompts his/her censorship.

Of course you pose a threat to their ideology, GW.

I’m not convinced that they have an ideology.  This is the Tory Party.  All it believes in is the holiness of the dateline corporation.  When the dateline corporation pays in to the party coffers and says “jump”, the party jumps.  Mass immigration?  No problemo.  Tranny equalness?  Absolutely.  Repeat “Build Back Better” ten times a day?  Watch them go!  There is next to nothing these chancers will not do in pursuit of money interests, the corporations and their own.  Of course they have to ban voices of dissent.  How else can they preserve the illusion of respectability and principle?

The Tory Party’s suicidal insanity was confirmed in 2001 when the then Party Chairman, David Davis , informed us that the last bastion of Conservatism , the Monday Club, was to be totally decoupled from the Party.  The Tory Party insisted upon the removal of Repatriation from the Club’s core principles and the MC quite correctly refused to acquiesce.

Political whoredom to the right of us.  Racial self-contempt, western civilisational contempt to the left.  Selling out everything to one side, tearing everything down to the other.  No space in between for the likes of the Monday Club, or us. Everything has fled to the extremes.

As a ten-year old, back in the early 1960s, I cursed my luck that unlike my father and grandfather I had been born into an age of domesticity and quiet, in which there were no clear enemies to fight and battles to win.  Didn’t need guns and heroism and bombastic pride, just wanted a noble cause and a due measure of human worth.  But what a paradise that age was.  I could never have imagined such a world of hatred and betrayal as this one into which we have all been thrown.  Still it does give us cause.

(I know you’re already aware of this, GW, but I’ll say it anyway.)

Unfortunately nearly all corporate boardrooms are filled with “woke” mindset executives. The evidence of that is the PACs, political candidates, foundations, NGOs, charities and other leftist causes they donate to; BLM being one of the more egregious examples. But the most conspicuous in-your-face evidence is the “woke” messaging they deliberately choose to include in their advertisements.

Big government has merged with big tech, big media, big corporations, and big academia; the leadership of that merger have one thing in common: a steadfast baizuo mindset.

Evidently the establishment wing of the GOP is a mirror image of the Tory Party. The GOPe is totally beholden to the The Chamber of Commerce and the Business Round Table thus they put their interests ahead of their voter base.

And being the pompous asses they are, the GOPe does not like Trump or his supporters; they’re are embarrassed by the MAGA crowd.

Thanks to Trump and his supporters, the GOPe is becoming ever increasingly irrelevant.

Thorn, my friend Morgoth does a good assessment of the modern political right, all of it crammed into his second Odysee podcast today:

Meanwhile, Conhome acquires a new dissident voice.  Or an old one.

https://www.conservativehome.com/video/2021/03/watch-in-conversation-with-sajid-javid.html

Global Britain. An Airstrip One for neoliberals who see indigenous Britons as deracinated, denatured, interchangeable economic units only interested in a better job and more consumer goods. The model required by the global corporations and internationalist bodies which fund the once-Conservative Party.

@13

Good talk Morgoth gives there. Very insightful man. He delved quite a bit into the Hope Not Hate* org and the hows and whys the oligarchs use orgs such as that to keep normal folk from rebelling against the neoliberal system.

I’m quite sure the useful idiots that work for Hope not Hate will be anxious to buy a pair of Satan Shoes. Not kidding. Here’s [removed]’s latest: https://www.tmz.com/2021/03/27/lil-nas-x-[removed]-satan-shoes-music-video-montero-music-video-hell/

The West is fast sinking down into one sick F’ed up culture!

*Obviously the name Hope Not Hate is an inversion of reality; their raison d’être is to foster hate against their ideological enemies. The same inversion of reality goes for the name Black Lives Matter and terms such as anti-racism. But ya gotta had it to the Left, they are much better at using the language than we are—especially when it comes to using it for propaganda purposes. Turning reality—and morality—on its head is the Left’s greatest talent.

Apropos dissident voices , might it be possible that Wonder Y is related to another eminently sensible Englishman called John Standing ?

It is true, Al, that John Standing is a legion, not an individual.

What’s your view of Alex Salmond’s Alba Party?  Is it going to wreck the independence movement?

GW, I think tactical voting will reduce SNP votes but the Independence Movement will be strengthened .  Still no proper Nationalist parties in Scotland though .

The pollster John Curtice seems to agree with you;

I have never been a British nationalist.  I want to see real nationalism and that can only come at the level of the constituent natives.  I don’t think that will be possible while Scotland is consumed by the independence debate.  The 2014 Indyref didn’t make it go away, so independence must come.  Then we can all get down to business.

Yes , GW , getting down to business should include a Referendum on Immigration ( even better ,  Repatriation ) . Marine Le Pen promises one for France.
