Frauke Petry’s AfD: Standing up for Germany’s Border Guard

Her stance on border control is fine, her integrationist disposition, however, augurs disaster for E.G.I.

Digital bloodhounds can help but also yield too much information..

Three explosions ripped through Brussels’ airport and subway Tuesday, killing 31 people and injuring 330 others.

Belgian authorities quickly identified four people they said were involved. One survived and fled, leading police to search for him and a possible associate in a massive manhunt across Europe. They have any number of tech tools they could use to catch his digital trail.

Technology has a downside when it comes to tracking down suspects, said Butler, who previously worked as an intelligence analyst. “There’s just too much data.”

Supreme Patriot, “Bulgaria Becomes First European Nation To Shoot A Muslim ‘Refugee’ Dead For Illegally Crossing Border”, 12 Feb 2016:

From Speisa:

A man was killed after police officers fired warning shots during scuffles on border with Turkey, when a bullet is said to have ricocheted, the Guardian reports.

An Afghan man was shot trying to cross into Bulgaria from Turkey late on Thursday and died on his way to hospital, the interior ministry has said.

“A big group of illegal migrants attempted to enter Bulgaria from Turkey. One man suffered a gunshot wound in the incident and died on the way to hospital,” an interior ministry spokeswoman told AFP.

The incident happened near the south-eastern Bulgarian town of Sredets on Thursday evening, she said, adding that the dead man was from Afghanistan.

Public BNR radio cited the interior ministry’s chief of staff, Georgy Kostov, as saying that the group of 50 people – all from Afghanistan – was intercepted by a patrol of two border guards and a police officer after crossing into Bulgarian territory.

“They put up resistance during the arrest. One of the officers fired warning shots and, in his words, one of the migrants was wounded by a ricochet and later died,” Kostov told the radio.

TNO, “AfD-Putin Youth Linkup” 24 April 2016:

The youth wing of Germany’s populist Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) has formally linked up with the youth wing of Vladimir Putin’s United Russia party.

The move, announced Friday by Der Spiegel, will cause shockwaves among the anti-Putin Western governments and in the controlled media.

JA leaders Sven Tritschler (left) and Markus Frohnmaier (right), with Russia’s Robert Schlegel, center.

United Russia is also the ruling political party, and has 238 (52.89 percent) of the 450 seats in the Russian parliament (State Duma). Its youth wing, “Young Guard of Russia” (YGR), has established formal links with the AfD’s “Young Alternative” (JA) movement.

According to Der Spiegel, Marcus Pretzell, head of the North Rhine Westphalia AfD, laid the foundation for the cooperation when he attended a recent “Yalta International Economic Forum” in Crimea.

“His presence was a signal,” Der Spiegel reported: “Russia is no longer internationally isolated.”

Pretzell also addressed the conference, telling the enthusiastic Russian crowd that the AfD was not only a threat to the German Federal government, but also to the Ukraine,” a comment which went down well on account of the ongoing conflict between the Ukraine and Russia.

In addition, Pretzell said, “good economic relations with Russia are in the interests of the German people,” and added that the current European Union sanctions on Russia should be abolished with immediate effect.

The moderator of the conference, Der Spiegel said, announced in response, “Marcus, you have won 140 million friends today.”

On Wednesday this past week, Der Spiegel reported, Duma deputy and top official of the United Russia party, Robert Schlegel, met with JA leaders Markus Frohnmaier and Sven Tritschler in Berlin.

It was at this meeting, Der Spiegel said, that the official alliance between the two groups was sealed.

“All over the European continent, EU critical and sovereignist movements are becoming stronger,” Frohnmaier said. “It is self-evident to ensure that these activities are coordinated in a new network.”

The YGR already maintains alliances with partners abroad, such as in Kazakhstan and Serbia. According to its policy documents, it seeks the “involvement of youth in the development process of a democratic and socially just society,” followed by the “mediation of patriotism and national pride.”

A new conference between the JA and YGR is planned for June in Potsdam, organized by the Russian embassy in Berlin, Der Spiegel continued.

The YGR has previously attracted hatred from the West’s controlled media—Der Spiegel included—for holding an exhibition in Moscow in February this year which displayed all the crimes committed by US presidents.

To add insult to injury, the exhibition was designed to open on President’s Day in the US.

According to Der Spiegel, other “areas of work” of the YGR include the “defamation of opposition politicians as lesbians, gays, and transvestites.”

The links have already angered the Ukrainian government, which still claims sovereignty over the Crimea. The Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Andriy Melnyk, told Der Spiegel that the AfD delegates had entered the Crimea “illegally.”

Since, he said, the German government had listed the Russian annexation of the Crimea as a breach of international law, the Ukrainian government had filed a note of protest with the German Foreign Ministry to “take all necessary steps to prevent such a violation of Ukrainian laws in the future.”

TNO, “Communists Attack AfD Convention” 2 May, 2016:

Police arrested more than 400 violent communist thugs outside the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party convention in Stuttgart over the weekend—but the thuggery did not prevent the 2,400-strong convention from going ahead as planned.

The convention adopted policies supporting strict controls on immigration and proposals designed to stop the spread of Islam—and voted to expel members who seek political alliances with the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD).

Heavily-armored riot police used pepper spray to hold off the communist thugs, many dressed in black and masking their faces, as officers escorted AfD members into the congress hall.

The communists also burned tires and threw firecrackers at journalists and the 1,000-strong police presence.

In another act of harassment, a left-wing media site overnight published the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of some 2,000 party members. AfD co-leader Joerg Meuthen pledged to file criminal charges against the unknown hackers behind the data leak.

Now polling around 14 percent, AfD is eyeing entry into the federal parliament in elections next year after a string of state election wins.

“Islam is not part of Germany” ran a headline in the AfD policy paper agreed in a vote at the congress. The paper demanded bans on minarets on mosques, the call to prayer, full-face veils for women, and female headscarves in schools.

A proposal for a more nuanced formulation—to “stop Islamism but seek dialogue with Islam”—was rejected with boos in the gathering, which was held in a hall decorated with banners that read “Courage. Truth. Germany.”

“Islam is in itself political,” retorted one speaker, while another linked the religion with “sharia, suicide bombings, and forced marriages”.

“We must not repeat the mistakes of the 60s and 70s and look abroad for labor migration,” read another line from the party platform.

“In the summer of 2015, they gave us up for dead,” a triumphant AfD co-chair Frauke Petry told the 2,400-plus delegates, declaring that the party does not intend to settle for the role of opposition group or junior coalition partner.

Instead, its new program should allow the AfD “to win majorities,” she told the meeting in the western city of Stuttgart.

Support for the AfD stood at 13 percent, beating the communist Greens as Germany’s third strongest party, according to an Emnid institute survey for the newspaper Bild am Sonntag.

Having entered half of Germany’s 16 state parliaments, the AfD—seen as the country’s answer to France’s National Front and Austria’s Freedom Party—has now firmly set its sights on national elections next year.

TNO, “Slovak Police Fire on Invaders,” 9 May 2016:

Slovak police last night opened fire with live ammunition against nonwhite invaders trying to break through the border with Hungary in an attempt to get to Germany.

One 26-year-old invader was shot in the back after border guards succeeded in stopping a convoy of five vehicles, packed with nonwhites on the road at the town of Velky Meder near the border.

The shoot-out scene outside the village of Velky Meder, Slovakia.

According to local media sources, the invader convoy was spotted on the road racing toward the Austrian border.

The invaders were ordered to stop, and when they refused, the police opened fire on the vehicles with live ammunition, in line with Slovakia’s declared zero tolerance for the fake refugee invasion.

According to the police, the drivers of the vehicles—professional people smugglers—refused to “obey the police even after warning shots were fired. The motor vehicle was stopped after its tires were shot out.”

Border police were checking cars as a matter of routine in the area, the police said, adding that the invasion had sped up in recent weeks—and they noticed the invader convoy at about half past twelve.

The vehicles were pursued for about six miles before the shootout near the village of Velky Meder.

“The fourth motor vehicle tried evasive escape maneuvers,” the police spokesman continued.

“The driver’s conduct jeopardized the lives of at least three customs officers, who then fired a warning shot.” The vehicle continued to race on toward the officers, who then opened fire on the invaders after it became clear that the nonwhites were trying to run the police over.

The shooting brought the vehicles to a halt on the side of the road. The injured invader—who had been shot in the back—was taken to the hospital, and two more were treated for dehydration.

All of the nonwhites were then arrested by border and customs officers, and then handed over for expulsion to the National Unit for Combating Illegal Migration.

The nonwhite invasion has not halted despite the European Union “deal” with Turkey, and all the Balkan states are still being subjected to thousands of invaders breaking through border fences in their attempt to take up Angela Merkel’s offer of free housing, food, and welfare in Germany.

For example, over the past weekend, 189 nonwhites were arrested by Hungarian border police alone, up substantially from the 572 arrested during the previous five days.

According to Slovak media reports, the nationalities of the invaders include Afghans, Iranians, Pakistanis, Algerians, Tunisians, Egyptians, Haitians, and Sri Lankans. None of these invaders have a claim to “asylum”—even by the ridiculous definitions used by the Merkel leftists—and are merely part of the planned and promoted nonwhite invasion of Europe.

*The shooting incident will unquestionably be condemned by the European Union, and is equally certain to heighten tensions between the Visegrad 4 nations and Western Europe.

The EU has already declared its intentions to place sanctions on the Visegrad 4 for refusing to take in any of the nonwhite invaders as part of its “redistribution” plan—so a much stronger reaction can be expected once news of the use of live ammunition against the invasion becomes widely known.

DT, “German far-Right leader stuns party by quitting chancellor race”, 21 April 2017:

The far-Right Alternative for Germany party (AfD) has been thrown into confusion just five months ahead of national elections after its leader unexpectedly stepped down as its candidate for chancellor.

Party supporters were on Thursday coming to terms with the shock announcement that Frauke Petry would not lead the party into September’s elections.

The party conference which was supposed to launch the election campaign in Cologne this weekend is set to become a crisis meeting as the party scrambles to replace her.

The conference is being held under extraordinary security, with as many as 50,000 protesters expected to demonstrate against the far-Right party.

Aircraft have been banned from flying over the city centre and an extra 4,000 police have been drafted in.

To complicate matters further, Mrs Petry has not resigned as party leader, but only said she will not serve as candidate for chancellor. Under the German political system, the two roles can be separate, though in practice they rarely are.

This was signalled by Petrie six or seven weeks ago, so not exactly a shock.  She is responsible for taking the party in a more typically nationalist direction, though in Germany that isn’t saying much.  She describes her stance as one of “national self-determinism” and herself as a national conservative.

I would guess that Jörg Meuthen or Beatrix von Storch (the Duchess of Oldenburg, no less) are best-placed to succeed her, if they wish to stand.

The job for the new leader is to prevent too much knock-back in the federal parliament election later this year, as a result of Petrie’s resignation.  The party is without federal or state parliamentary members at present, and this blow will probably keep them as such.

The party is currently polling around 7%, having fallen from its post Cologne Station high of more than double that:
