Podcast Responding to a hangout of mostly young, right wing reactionaries.
I want to address some serious wrong turns these guys are taking. Though I’ve spoken to them before, and I don’t believe they will listen to me, even though they should, my trying to persuade them, especially if I try to do it directly, will probably only cause them to double down in recalcitrance; worse, it will infuriate me as they resort to ad hominum; and worse still, they might jeopardize my carefully considered position through furtive association with their fed posting while I make the effort to help them in sympathy for their dire predicament. Even so, corrections that I propose might help newcomers to the ethnonationalist struggle.

There is another point that I would care to re-phrase, when I said (5:36) “yes, we want our young people to be able to go back to work” ... actually, we want our young people to be making money, and if working helps to do that and acquire skills so much the better, but if going along with a quasi union strike is just as well and gives you some time to consider your options, that’s not bad either. You don’t want to be merely keeping the ship pan-mixia running.
