Love versus what’s good for Mr Goldfarb

Posted by Guessedworker on Saturday, 19 August 2006 00:08.

Hat-tip to Laban for this link to an IHT article originally printed in the NYT.  Michael Goldfarb has profited ethnically from the crime committed in my capital city (which he has the gaul to call his):-

When I first moved to the area in 1989, the park did not have anything like the variety of ethnicities and nationalities using it. What has happened in London since then is possibly the most remarkable peacetime change in the ethnic composition of a European city. Without warning and by increment, a vast influx of people from around the world has changed the city into something like the idealized, happily multiethnic, liberal New York of my childhood.

Even so, he accepts that his Jewish paradise in the goyim’s land won’t actually work.  But hey ho, what’s a Moslem bomber or two when the European Christian has been buried?

That’s not to say it’s all Elysium around here. There have been hate crimes; the local mosque was attended by Richard Reid, the so-called shoe- bomber, and Zacarias Moussaoui. But whenever the hate and violence threatened to boil over, leaders from all faiths spoke out, calling for peace, and the tensions cooled.

Still, as I watch my daughter and listen to the din of a dozen languages, I feel an end-of-summer sadness. Someday soon, someone with an inability to value what is precious about Clissold Park will commit the act that shatters this small world and drives all of us into our corners. Before that happens, I want my daughter to know that there was an alternative.

Sympathy for the devil

Posted by Guessedworker on Saturday, 05 August 2006 22:51.

I’m taking a quick break from pondering WN so I can reply to a very interesting question which Desmond Jones makes something of a habit of raising here, and to which I referred in my “Prelude” post.

Desmond’s question, essentially, is this:-

If the unique and dangerous level of out-group sympathy which European peoples exhibit today is an evolved trait, is it not more powerful and harder-wired than our instinct for group survival?

Finally, the white demographic is taken seriously

A white dating service had to come along sooner or later, and here it is.  Unless, of course, it is a fraud, a parody, or a rip-off!  But then ...

Well, the passengers will be remembered as heroes one and all.  And their heroism was instructive.  Seeing that there was no self-preservation to be had from sitting quietly as the hijackers demanded, they chose the only course open to them.  They were, therefore, clear-sighted before they were brave.

Quite obviously, the Administration’s decision to remove Saddam and democratise Iraq does not belong to the same class of human action.  But the presence of the Minutemen on the border certainly does.  Here, too, there is no advantage for patriotic Euro-Americans to be had from sitting quietly at home, as the Administration demands.  The clear-sighted understand that the Mexicanisation of the south-west is fatal to the life they know and love.  Out of clear-sightedness flows the courage to act.

The heroes of Flight 93 will at least have a memorial by which future Americans may, if they choose, remember them.  But who will those future Americans be?  And how many of them will care to remember the courage of the men who travelled south to defend the way of life they had always known.

Prison race riot solution: Freedom of association within the prison system

Posted by James Bowery on Tuesday, 14 February 2006 00:31.

It seems pretty obvious to me that prison riots, prisoner rape and abuse could all be quelled by imposing neither integration nor segregation on the inmates, but by simply giving them what “free” men in the outside world are denied:

Freedom of association—even, and especially, by race.

The Emergence of Parasity From Heterosity Demonstrated

Posted by James Bowery on Friday, 06 January 2006 18:42.

Proponents of heterosity (localized novel diversity) tell us immigration “enriches” us through creation of symbiosis.  Theories of horizontal vs vertical transmission predict the degree to which this may be true.  Horizontal transmission is similar to spatial migration—giving a potential symbiont multiple passages for reproduction.  Vertical transmission is similar to spatial restriction—requiring the potential symbiont to “sleep in the bed it’s made” so to speak.  Theory predicts symbiosis emerges under vertical transmission but the result of horizontal transmission is the realization not of symbiosis, but of parasitism.  Indeed, emperical tests now demonstrate that as few as 3 generations of horizontal transmission can result in a tripling of parasite virulence (defined as damage to the host) and reduction of virulence by restriction to vertical transmission is substantially slower.  It should be noted that decreased virulence does not equate to symbiosis.  The time required to achieve symbiosis through restricted migration remains unknown.  This increase of novel parasitism resulting from heterosity deserves its own name, distinct from “diversity”: “parasity”.

Further Explorations In Heterosity

Posted by James Bowery on Monday, 02 January 2006 19:29.

Heterosity (novel diversity in a local area) is usually portrayed by its proponents as yielding a high rate of symbiosis in human ecologies.  This is not what is observed in other ecosystems however.

A New Term For the New Year:  Heterosity

Posted by James Bowery on Sunday, 01 January 2006 11:00.

To those of us who value real diversity a maddening abuse of language (there are so many these days) is the use of the word “diversity” to describe the colocation of many different types.  This fallacy is so familiar to us that we are accustomed to living with it.  We bite our tongues and stay silent or we try to construct sentences to describe the horror of taking the great diversity of nature and destroying it with technologically amplified mixing of ecologies.

No more.

A word is needed—something more specific than “multiculturalism”—to replace the use of “diversity” to describe colocation of different types.

I propose “heterosity”.
