There are some things that can never be said often enough.  Here’s Desmond Jones on Phil’s Chinese Racists thread, answering a heart-felt plea for peace ‘n lerve from a Chinese commenter:-

... racism (race realism) is good.  It recognizes that it is normal for an ethnic group or race to want to survive and to avoid displacement by others. It recognizes that mass immigration is ethnic competition over territory and that it negatively impacts reproductive fitness.  It realizes that territory ensures survival, and human history is largely a record of groups expanding and contracting, conquering or being conquered, migrating or being displaced by migrants.  The loss of territory, whether by military defeat or displacement by aliens, brings ethnic diminishment or destruction - precisely what is happening in the “multicultural” West today.

It is YOU, who must realize that WE are merely trying to survive, that we want to live in peace with our families in OUR homelands without the threat of diminishment or destruction.

Perhaps one of the denizens of the MultiCult who occasionally drop by to check out the blog would care to offer an explanation as to how this statement is wrong.

Well, he’s back ... his foot healed and, apparently, not having shot himself anywhere else.  And he’s mad.  At the Drug Enforcement Administration, which employs him and which he blames for releasing that video and making him a laughing stock.  How does the song go?  Woke up one morning, got myself a lawyer.

Malegapuru Makgoba is the vice-chancellor of the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.

He wrote a newspaper column earlier this year which strongly criticised white South African men. He accused them of being racists who could not adapt to a society “making every effort ... to transform itself into a just, equitable and non-racial society”. He wrote of them as “spoilers” who did not appreciate the new Constitution “which respects human dignity, diversity and non-sexism.”

So far the average Western leftist reading this will be cheering on Mr Makgoba. But they might like to read a little further. The kind of non-racist, diverse society Vice-Chancellor Makgoba wants white men to embrace is a purely black African one.

Without exception, whenever I bring up genetics as an explanation for black failings, I get the response about how the experience of West Indians immigrants proves otherwise.  Allegedly, the slave culture of the West Indians was different from that of the American South.  The theory goes that there were so many slaves and so few white people that the slaves were forced to set up their own economies.  Therefore, this makes their culture value education, hard work, and other skills necessary to succeed in a market economy.

Thomas Sowell made this argument in the 1970s and early 1980s using 1970 census data and it has been parroted by conservatives, most notably Dinesh D’Souza and David Horowitz ever since.  Some have even claimed that West Indians are even more successful than whites.

My response was that I would be skeptical of the data supporting that, and if it were true, my guess would be that it is because the initial wave of West Indian immigrants was very high quality, but this would deteriorate once they start sponsoring their 2nd cousins.

The Sydney Morning Herald is to be congratulated for carrying a heartening story of academic freedom and truth-speaking.  In a letter to the Parramatta Sun Associate Professor Andrew Fraser (reg req) had said what we all know to be true :-

“... an expanding black population is a sure-fire recipe for increases in crime, violence and a wide range of other social problems ... The fact is that ordinary Australians are being pushed down the path to national suicide by their own political, religious and economic elites.”

It appears that he then followed this up with an e-mail to a Woollahra councillor, raising some blindingly obvious concerns about the consequences of large-scale Chinese immigration:-

“Look at the annual HSC results - the consequence of which is that Oz is creating a new heavily Asian managerial-professional, ruling class that will feel no hesitation … in promoting the narrow interests of their co-ethnics at the expense of white Australians.”

Finally to the Herald he declared that it was only the “educated middle class” who opposed his views. “I think most ordinary people would find what I’m saying more or less self-evident,” he said.

Prof Fraser emigrated to Australia from Canada.  One must suppose, therefore, that his is a voice of experience.  It looks like he will keep his job in the Department of Public Law at Macquarie University.  But good luck to him anyway.  He’s a brave man.

On my daily round of the internet I check both the BNP’s website and Amren’s to see if anything new and interesting is to be found there.  Both can be excellent sources for factual (and not merely opinion-based) reports of the times in which we live.  Irrespective of the Pavlovian tendencies people may have picked up from the censorious left, anyone sufficiently honest and courageous to want to understand our changing society should risk all and visit both.

On May 1st the BNP published two video links pertaining to the new craze (mainly but not exclusively) among black youths for assaulting strangers and recording the event by mobile phone-camera.  They call it Happy Slapping.  Devotees of anti-racism and blank slate equality can assess this eloquent and, of course, always vibrant form of inter-racial discourse here and here.  Yes, yes ... all just good natured joshing.  Naturally.  White racism is at the bottom of it and the BNP are violent Nazis, as we all know.  Because we are always told to think that by the anti-racist good and great of the liberal establishment.  So it must be true.

What we are never told is what our burgeoning and, of course, always vibrant black population thinks of us.  And on this arcane subject “Robert”, a commenter on an Amren thread, posted this link to Blacknet yesterday.

Read it and weep.  These people can’t wait to get shot of whites entirely from the areas which they now inhabit.  They understand their own ethnic genetic interest perfectly well.  We jump to the conclusion that because we don’t understand ours nobody is any different.  A naive and stupid assumption.  Every misguided English Conservative, libertarian, liberal and leftist should make it his or her business to become thoroughly acquainted with the mind at work on this board.  Of reciprocal altruism - or even basic goodwill - there is no trace.  Not much good-natured joshing either, I think.  These people really couldn’t care less about us.  Frankly, I get the impression that as we concede our homes and women and deceive ourselves that nothing momentous is in train they just can’t believe their luck.  In an, of course, always vibrant sense.

Are they representative or aberrative?  What do you think?

Perhaps culture war on campus isn’t that bad after all.

There is a belief dear to the more intellectual if sometimes extreme political elements that political power on the ground is nought but the ebb and flow of a great battle of ideas.  Thus philosophy is both the king of abstract human contemplation and the pawn of human instrumentation.

The Achilles heel of this view is that Nature is also expressed, and rather viscerally, through our hearts and minds and thence through our deeds.  But Nature is not an idea.  The battles between “isms” have no application to it.  Even race realism, for example, is only about Nature - just intellectuals protesting an anti-Natural ideology.

That is not to say that Nature cannot speak pretty directly through us.  It can.  But do you want to listen?
