In the Scotsman an ICM poll has revealed the continuing hardening of SNP support and the softening of Labour’s.  The speculative scenario I suggested on January 13th - an SNP government in May, a carried vote on independence in 2010, followed by the grisly death of the Labour Party nationally - is coming ever closer to fruition.

From the Scotsman:-

Under the poll results, Labour would have too few MSPs to form a coalition with the Liberal Democrats and would have to try to rule as a minority government or patch together an unlikely coalition with the smaller parties to get into government again.

Translated into seats, the poll would give the SNP 44 to Labour’s 41 - a major turnaround on 2003, giving the SNP 17 more seats than they won then and Labour nine fewer.

The Liberal Democrats would also see a big improvement, with 23 MSPs gaining an extra six seats on the 17 they won in 2003, while the Conservatives would be down slightly, with 17 seats, not the 18 they won in 2003.

According to the poll, the SNP is in line to win 34 per cent on the constituency vote, up 1 per cent on last month, and 32 per cent on the regional vote, down 1 per cent.

The Scotsman still predicts a minority Labour administration.  But there is a grim 70-day slog ahead of Blair and McConnell, in which they can only lose more ground.  The potential for a highly significant moment in Britain’s political history is decidedly there.

A few days ago my attention was drawn to Aaron Russo’s free upload to Google Video of his blockbuster documentary, America: Freedom to Fascism.  Whatever you think of the film itself, and the ten or twelve major issues it covers, it is one hell of a piece of propaganda.  It is immensely thought-provoking and entertaining throughout.  It is courageous, too - even when, as in Russo’s case, you have the IRS after you with $2 million dollars of leins in their bony hands.

Russo is a blunt, engaging fellow, if a little flaky.  He likes to tell the world that his past producing successors, Herp Alpert style, “included” Trading Places (a good earner but 1983!) and The Rose (Midler and it was all the way back in 1979!!).  He claims that AF2F premiered in Cannes, meaning we should think it was screened at Cannes.  Actually, he rented a portable system and showed the film to small audiences on the beach.

But never mind.  Because Russo is also extremely determined.  AF2F lays into the arcanery of the Federal Reserve’s founding with a will.  It questions the real whereabouts of the Fort Knox gold, the legality of Federal Income Tax, the massive abuse of power by the IRS (of course), the independence of judges (except those on the Supreme Court) and of Congress (except Ron Paul), and even open borders.  He socks it to the banking giants and politicians of yesterday, the New World Order of tomorrow, the planned National ID Card, and the frighteningly versatile Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology.  Along the way he gets threatened by a very reluctant and sinister spokeman for the Federal Reserve.  “You understand Yiddish don’t you,” this character says, and spits out a few funny words.  Aaron duly explains to us that he said, “No one will help you.”

A few weeks ago a suggestion was made on one of the threads that it might of value to build up a record of personal awakenings.  Today one of our friends from RD offered an account of his own experience.  In the hope, then, that this will spark a series of such accounts I will create a new category, Awakenings, and invite anyone who has a story to tell to mail me.  Now here’s Sean’s story.

For me, the two great questions of the day are:

(1) how the European-derived peoples are to awake to their own ethnicity, and

(2) how they come to understand that one key problem to their development and safety is posed by the Semitic peoples.

This essay is about the second of the two questions and may be fairly described as how is recognition of this peril to be managed? Is it broad-based deep theory that appeals to the intellect, or some kind of simple, but shattering, event with unsuspected emotional-based, conversion-like attributes?

We argue that it is the shattering event that overturns an emotional state that leads to recognition of the Semitic peoples as dangerous to our development. This is partly true because so much of the discourse around us is dominated by Semitic personalities promoting an untrue line of propaganda, but the good news is that unraveling of any thread in that propaganda may trigger an awakening.

Here are brief sketches of two such awakenings.

My Awakening

As a pre-WWII baby I had many opportunities to become aware of the influence of the Semitic peoples on our cultures.  I saw aged Jews like Barnard Baruch lionized with pictures on the pages of the daily paper my family subscribed to in which Baruch was described as a “park bench advisor to presidents.”  I remember wondering about it from the age of perhaps 13, although it was never questioned or discussed at home or school.

I remember reading bizarre weekly letters-to-the-editor published in the county weekly paper in our Minnesota rural town from a mysterious California resident, Herbert Aptheker.  I remember wondering about the letters that appeared so frequently and expressed such hatred against America, although his doctrines and ideas were never questioned or discussed at home or school.

Wendy Duncan and her husband Brian are white. Nineteen months ago, the Lincolnshire housewife gave birth to a beautiful, healthy, Indian daughter.

Freya, brown-skinned and dark-eyed, is not a medical miracle after a long and fruitless quest through IVF and adoption, but the product of a booming industry in India that is offering embryos for adoption.

Couples such as the Duncans are lining up to be treated. Their experience was so successful that they are returning next week to the Bombay fertility clinic that produced Freya, to try for a second child.

The Duncans had no qualms about bearing a child of a different race. They are Freya’s natural birth parents and legal guardians in British law.

“To us colour is not an issue. I already have a mixed-race daughter, whose father is Arab, from a previous relationship,” Mrs Duncan said. “Lots of people say you would never think Freya wasn’t ours. She is so like me, it is unbelievable. She should have been a redhead - she has the temperament.”

Keep in mind “Freya” is the Norse goddess of fertility.  The depths of hostility toward their ancestors inculcated by their academic and media indoctrination is exemplary of the hostility of those those institutions to the host people and is sufficient to justify destroying the civilization supporting such indoctrination systems.

Nazir Ahmed, Baron Ahmed of Rotherham no less (actually Mizpur, Pakistan but no matter), has joined the big push for integration.

Labour’s leading Muslim peer reignited the row over the full-face veil on Tuesday by condemning its use as “defiance” of British values.

Lord Ahmed said that “the veil is now a mark of separation, segregation and defiance against mainstream British culture.

... They were supposed to be worn so that women would not be harassed. But my argument is that women, and communities as a whole, are now being harassed because they are wearing them. They are physical barriers to integration.

This is insulting.  Alien people with a less than endearing religious culture [video 48min] can’t just decide to “integrate”, and whether their women (and their terrorists) do or do not wear big black tents is completely immaterial.  We possess the power of choice, in that we can choose who belongs with us and who doesn’t.  The decision with Moslems appears to me to have been taken decades ago, and it isn’t going to change.

I grant that if we were nothing more than the capacious cultural bag of Britishness, into which anything can be stuffed, Rotherham Sahib might have more of a point.  But we are not.  We are the English.  That is, we are genetically of that Northern European sub-set identifiable as English.  Britishness is only an elected, political thing, and it is dying fast.

Majority Report

I’m probably going to regret this but I’ve whipped together one of those “100 line Perl script to save the world” kind of things and put it up on my Laboratory of the States website.

It’s a “Web 2.0” application in that it dynamically adjusts the front page news layout in response to user demand.

Since I just got the idea to do this yesterday, I haven’t had a lot of time to bang on it so it probably has horrible security or application-model weaknesses that will be exploited by the enemies watching this site.  I’ll shut it down temporarily when they crack into it.

The AP (via Forbes) reports that:

In 1996, women in federally monitored programs donated eggs just over 3,800 times. That number has risen steadily, to more than 10,000 in 2004, the most recent year for which the Centers for Disease Control has compiled data.

White female eggs are in exceptional demand.  Many white women are saying they are donating out of a desire to help others.  This of course is unacceptable to one:

Jeffery P. Kahn, who says:

“It does feel a little more like the Wild West than it ought to,” says Dr. Jeffrey Kahn, director of the University of Minnesota Center for Bioethics. And he only sees the problem growing as states such as California move closer to funding major stem-cell research, requiring more donor eggs.

“We worry that we offer people so much money that they are blind to the risk and their motivation is strictly the money,” Kahn says.

That’s the very reason, he notes, that it is illegal to sell an organ, such as a kidney, for donation. “So I’m not comfortable saying we should start that with human eggs,” he says.

Hey, Dr. Con, perhaps reducing pressure on young women to make money would help.  For starters let their prospective husbands’ earnings keep pace with land prices—for example by opposing immigration that lowers wages and raises demand on real estate.  You oppose that and we can start to talk about your “ethics”.

By the way, Dr. Con, I looked at your academic web site and followed it to your “Links and bibliography” expecting something about your specialty “bioethics”.  Perhaps you can explain why all I found there was Holocaust activism:
